From 2008-2012 Pau Gasol avg 37mpg with the Lakers. Tim Duncan in his first few seasons with the Spurs avg 39-40mpg. So Pop and Phil Jackson are actually WORSE than Thibs? Gosh who knew
Honestly, why are most people so stupid...Sure there's a possibility Derrick's injury could be attributed to the amount of minutes he played and trains. But the main reason Rose got hurt, is because of his play style. The way he changes directions and the way he moves, a persons knees are not meant to take movements like that for a long period of time. Look closely at the way he got his first knee injury, look at how explosive and powerful that hopstep was and you can tell that his knee was going to give out at some point. Matter fact, how bout go out to the park, try going full speed going left then do a explosive hopstep going right.
This interview means nothing. What was Brunson supposed to say? I'm not going to comment on the X's and O's side, but from a player management side, Tom Thibodeau is the absolute worst. Period. He's that typical old school crusty @$$ grizzly coach that hates playing younger players, will identify the top 6 players on a team that he likes, and just grind those guys into absolute dust by playing them 40+ minutes a game for the entire season. Players talk to other players, so if no one wants to play for Tom Thibodeau, there's 100% a reason behind it. Anyone thinking this is just "media driven" is a clown.
The absolute worst? Because he asks star players to contribute? Let me fact check your misinformation for a minute. 2010-12 MPG from Thibs Bulls. D Rose 35mpg Noah 36mpg Same era similar record Lakers under Phil Jackson Kobe 39mpg Pau 38mpg. Would that not make Phil Jackson the 'absolute worst' ?
So please tell me why no Knicks players were in the top 20 in minutes played per game? No one on the team even averaged more than 35 minutes per games. You’re talking out of your ass
Thibodeau overplays his players, period. Why do you think the Knicks were depleted this year? I mean, it's so obvious running an NBA team with a 7-8 deep roster is a disaster in the making.
Did he consult for the Sixers and make Embiid get hurt? What about the Clippers? I mean are all those coaches liable for player injuries too or you just like to make it about one guy? lol
Thibs had a 9 man rotation, shit happened. Randle dislocated his shoulder on a drive, OG first aggravated his elbow on a dunk and then pulled his hammy and had weird injuries pre-Thibs, Robinson literally got his ankle pulled by Embiid. Stop putting shit on Thibodeau

Bruh he prepared to lose.
Who would want to play for a guy that has a seven man rotation and doesn’t give other people a chance while he burns the people he believes in to the ground lol
He doesn’t run them in the ground though. The Knicks weren’t even top 10 in most minutes played. You work with what you got and I’m sorry but I’m not sacrificing a game putting in players who don’t understand the system
Lol... so much crying in basketball these days
@@Jlife13300 Yee NBA vets don’t know a system lmaoo…
Ruined Derrick rose’s career
Ooo sounds serious. Same D Rose who was ROY in year 1 with the Bulls and MVP in year 3? Those guys get limited minutes right? Lol. Up to the point D Rose popped his ACL dude avg 37mpg.
@@I.am_Groot I love how you defend thibs like he’s your father.
@@805fillmore I love how you cry like my lil sister when she couldn't find her Barbie
Sounds tibs is a workaholic. Not a healthy balanced human being
Thibs ran d rose to the ground
He’s full of shit and won’t reply. These are espn kool aid drinking midwits that you’re debating
As long the players follow him we good
dude ur right. u should apply to take his job, u sound smart and seem like u know what ur doing!!! good luck!!!
Plenty of coaches are ‘well prepared’. It’s understandable that most Vets don’t wanna play for a coach known for brutal practices/mins. Anyone ever notice it’s often the coaches who never played. Thins, Van Gundy types who are known for long ass practices?
Like b/c they never went thru it, they don’t have the same appreciation for players being sore/exhausted?
PJ Carlesimo was another from the old days. And we know what happened to him
You think the dynasty New England Patriots, Golden State Warriors or San Antonio Spurs did not go just as hard as Thibs does?
Thibs has played basketball in HS and college, never as a pro but he was a player. He also doesn't have brutal practices any more listen to the words Brunson is SAYING.
Trae young so much better than big head here
Lmaooo cap
Trae Young couldn’t wash this dude’s jock strap and he doesn’t make his teammates better.
