Damian lillard deserves every single moment of this, he should’ve left Portland a long time ago and so many people advised him so but now look he left way too late. He deserves this.
Yall really sit up here and pick and choose when somebody should be loyal to a team or break that loyalty. Dame saw how yall treated KD, so he stayed so he could be able to be on a moral high ground and garner the fans respect. Now yall are saying he should've left sooner. NBA players are damned if they do and damned if they dont.
So Giannis put Milwaukee back to the map and now he is to blame for everything. For those who watch closely, Griffin had a good record while the team was having the easiest schedule (at start) in recent years. They weren't going anywhere near the Championship with Griffin and that's a FACT. They took a gamble with Doc and just didn't work. The team is old with crappy role players and Dame inconsistent. Giannis delivered a title and now the best for him is to seek his future somewhere else. Nothing wrong with that.
Just because you put a team on the map doesnt mean you dont have blame when the team is doing bad. I sure hope you werent one of the people crapping on KD during his time with the Nets. Giannis was trying to control things and it backfired. He holds the blame for the situation he's in now. He had a bad series in 2023 and lost some games that he could've won if he hit his FTs. That led to Bud getting fired. Then he handpicked Adrian Griffin over Nick Nurse. Then he was openly having issues with Adrian Griffin in the middle of the games for the world to see. Giannis needs to stay in this dumpster fire because he caused it.
@@smoothsavage2870 Okay I dont mean to be rude but are you on crack? Giannis FTs caused BUd to get fired? He has the right to do whatever he wishes
I don't believe the organization asking a star for their opinion is not the same things as the star asking for change to be made. I honestly don't think Giannis requested any of these changes in Milwaukee. If you follow the team, you will realize that Giannis allows the organization to do their job. I'm sure they consult him, but I doubt if he demands anything.

The fact that The bucks fired a Coach that won them s Chip and Fired a coach last season who was winning with them Then they go and get DOC😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 wild
The Bucks' main issue is Khris Middleton's frequent injuries. Giannis clearly values the team, shown by his recent contract extension, but he can't be the only player driving offensive change. Even when Giannis and Dame perform well offensively, it raises the question: what are the rest of the players contributing on defense?
What I loved about the Last Dance documentary is how it showed Jerry Krause making decisions that pissed MJ and Pip off. He fired Doug Collins, got Kukoc, and pushed back on contracts. If the Bulls were to bend to Jordan, they would have kept Collins and he would have averaged 40ppg and get a couple of championships. Even Jordan who was a god had very little power. Stars being the GM never works. Even Lebron was told to shut up in Miami and he won’t the most chips there.
People just cannot seem to remember or understand just how big of a part Middleton is in the bucks success. And brook’s lack of athletic ability and explosiveness is hurting the bucks
Shannon knows 0 about Giannis or the bucks which is why his takes are always so off. 1. Giannis did not want Griffin gone; he liked the fast paced switching defense, but BOBBY PORTIS, AND BROOKE LOPEZ HAD problems with the speed (and Bobby in particular who is an awful defender) and were seeing reduced playing time, took advantage of Giannis loyalty to the teammates he won a ring with. They held a team meeting airing their concerns and Giannis let management know the team would have to move on. Unfortunately Bobby and Brooke took advantage of his loyalty. Sam Amick spoke and wrote about how his teammates have been taking advantage of Giannis loyalty and how someone may need to be in his corner to get him to let that go. That's why horst didn't consult Giannis about Jrue bc he knew Giannis would say no. 2. Dame didn't care either way but the dismissal of Stotts was a red flag to him. 3. Doc was PURELY a TERRIBLE ownership decision. THERE ARE 0 ACTIVE PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE who would CHOOSE SOC MIDDERS
Doc is living off of the Celtics 08 team and that team was selfed coached. Rondo, Allen, Pierce and Garnett were the coaches of that championship team.
To be fair Giannis and dame have been balling. The pnr actually looks pretty good. It’s the others that suck. And it don’t help Khris Middleton is basically thanasis at this point. Dude never plays
Should’ve kept Holiday and traded Middleton. Great player and had a magical run in 21 but he is just so injury prone and I think can be replaced easier, Holiday is way more reliable
I think it is too early to write the Bucks off. Dame and Giannis are putting up great numbers. Chris is out, plus Trent Junior and the other role players are not stepping up yet. It will all get together during the season.
Damien Lillard seems lack top level high level basketball intelligence. He can score at will but those points are rarely in a team context. He's slowly being found out due his lack of high level IQ, which is responsible for his lack of chemistry with Giannis. He doesn't make his teammates better and tends to score in patches. He's akin to Russell Westbrook at his prime: scoring without impacting the team's chemistry. Even when he led the lg in Assists, he was still a poor facilitator. This is what makes Curry great: he can dominate the game in a team context, not by his assists but by destabilizing defenses. This is what makes Ja Morant great: he really knows the game at a high level. This is what Draymond says when he argues at the high level your basketball IQ will get found out, especially if the coach can't supply it. This is why Ant can be aggressive in ISO plays and help the team. Same as Shai Alexander. Either the coach supplies the IQ via system like Steve Kerr or the Boston coach or the players generate it like Jokic or Bron.
Honestly last year with Adrian griffin their offense looked amazing and flowed great with Dame in it. Even with Dame's shooting struggles they were like 2nd in the league in offensive rating. I think it's doc's system that is just completely trash. Where he doesn't run any smart plays and just expects the stars to score.
Perkins has nothing else to say about Middleton other than “old”; but he won’t talk about how he balled out against Pacers without Giannis and half the series without Dame (With two injured ankles).
Dame is not a point guard. He dribbles up the court and passes ahead. He doesn’t set hard screens, he doesn’t know how to feed bigs, he’s just an undersized shooting guard.
Not only did Giannis choose Doc over Griffin. He chose Griffin over Atkinson. And also waved away Bud. And he didn't really choose Dame over Jrue. He chose Middleton over Jrue. A ridiculous streak of bad, very bad, choices.
Beal hasn’t been nothing since he left wizards 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️, he’s gotta be a disappointment to the suns. I had high expectations for him, unfortunately I’ve seen enough. If he had of came to Milwaukee he probably would’ve been worst.
When Spyda left the Jazz, I thought that was the beginning of the End for him and that made me sad because they guy was a titan in SLC. They were close but couldn't get to the Championship Level. However I have been pleasantly surprised at his resurgence in Cleveland. Anyone who watched the Cavs the past couple years knew Garland is destined for elite level, and Mobley / Allen in the middle is and equal to the Mavs or Grizz or Heat at that position (good, not great). Add in an elite like Spyda and you have a team that will easily be in the playoffs and just needs some fine-tuning to go further.
Milwaukee fell into the classic trap of small market teams, they get success and think they are a major market now. They have to have the "name" coach instead of the winning coach, they change the roster to get a couple more "names" instead of getting the key pieces they need.
The impact Jrue Holiday has on a teams success really needs to be studied 😂

"They didnt Beyonce this roster and upgrade it" 😂😂

Management is the issue as well.
Lakers thin on the bench. Imagine using a draft pick for a good role player not Bronny.
Damian lillard deserves every single moment of this, he should’ve left Portland a long time ago and so many people advised him so but now look he left way too late. He deserves this.
That’s the most stupid comment I’ve read all year
@@Amari02Dame deserves this too. Stop lying. He wanted to play with Giannis too. He said himself. Where is the smoke for Lame Time
not if he's going to Miami he will average 40 there lol
Yall really sit up here and pick and choose when somebody should be loyal to a team or break that loyalty. Dame saw how yall treated KD, so he stayed so he could be able to be on a moral high ground and garner the fans respect. Now yall are saying he should've left sooner. NBA players are damned if they do and damned if they dont.
Dude be jogging up the court with the ball in his hand all the time looking like a old man
even if Middleton has injury problem, as banged up as he was, he still won the Bucks a game in the playoffs... tired of clueless Perkins takes
The lakers kept the same mediocre starting line up and thought a rookie coach would be able to make them better 🤡
He’s actually coaching great but they lack 2 way players
@@CuatroCinc0 can't coach up inconsistent players.
We are better last season we would’ve been 0-8 right now
You do realize this same starting lineup went 23-10 under Ham last year, right?
@@BronGotGameseriously. The roster is cooked after the 6th man
Shannon was spittin 🔥🔥
These people keep saying that Giannis did this and that without any prove, he would never ask to trade jrue holiday or fire a coach
So they only won with griffin because of a easy schedule but now they’re are losing to teams they should be beating?
If I remember accurately Giannis got injured in the first game of that series and came back in game 4. Jrue's inability to create shots while middleton was absent and Bud's lack of time outs caused him to get fired! In the NBA nothing is a guarantee Giannis has paid back 10 folds what the Bucks invested in him from bringing their first championship in 50 years, the economic developmental of milwaukee, Consisent Star player performances, 2 MVPs and regular play offs entries. He has the right to do whatever he wishes
Jrue Holiday is a better all around player than Dame respectively. They should've traded Middleton.
“ I sawr it”😂
6:19 | Giannis did NOT want to move on from Jason Kidd. Shannon just talking today.
This dude JJ Redick keeps playing Max Christie and D’Angelo. They said he was a coaching genius.
Those minutes belong to Bronny, he earned it!
What are his other options 😂

Giannis never said anything about leaving.... not sure why Perk and Shay personally going after him.
A weak bench on an old team is a disaster .
That is exactly the path the Nuggets are now headed down
I don't believe the organization asking a star for their opinion is not the same things as the star asking for change to be made. I honestly don't think Giannis requested any of these changes in Milwaukee. If you follow the team, you will realize that Giannis allows the organization to do their job. I'm sure they consult him, but I doubt if he demands anything.

what is shannon talking about man, 11 years in bucks, did kd or lebron spend 11 straight years in one team? for a long time people say giannis should leave and now you blame him. 2 much bulls…
So ESPN just blames the player for making GM decisions. Where’s the Doc blame? Giannis ain’t hiring and firing people Giannis is not the GM. Stop it!
The person who initiated the move and requested it conditional on him possibly leaving should share the blame
THEY ARE ANSWERING THE QUESTION. IF THIS WAS A DOC QUESTION HE WOULD GET CRUCIFIED TOO
You need to watch more than one clip bro 😂
They don’t a move without him lol
lol yes he is the gm of the team that’s the rules when it comes to superstars running the league
Giannis' been my favorite player for so long and if we're being honest this is all his fault!!
All I got to say is Darvin Ham & Glen Rivers
People laughed at me when I said they wouldn’t be contenders
It’s only 7 games
@ I said this a year ago
Imagine being the billionaire owner of the bucks & instead of hiring a competent human being, you hire doc rivers 🤡
The same owners who also gave Deshaun Watson $230 million. Decision-making is in the gutter.
They also brought on Darvin Ham
There HAS to be something to hiring Doc. It makes no sense. There's so many other coaches. Greek must've demanded him.
Right why bring in one of a handful of coaches that's won a championship before
Well that’s not how its done in Milwaukee
People just cannot seem to remember or understand just how big of a part Middleton is in the bucks success.
And brook’s lack of athletic ability and explosiveness is hurting the bucks
Shannon Sharpe 🤣😂🤣😂 7:08
He went in like flynn
It's crazy how some players get a break from criticism
Also Giannis definitely didn't want kidd gone. He loved him.
Source??
@@goatstatusj5112his source? just look at his silly username. 😆
Doc is living off of the Celtics 08 team and that team was selfed coached. Rondo, Allen, Pierce and Garnett were the coaches of that championship team.
Rondo was in his second year and barely played in the playoffs in 2008
Giannis won a chip with the team that drafted him it’s a difference
He got one but nothing yet
Fire Doc
Molly just HAS to have the last word, relax sheesh lol
i like all the the other Host Better she blow me
To be fair Giannis and dame have been balling. The pnr actually looks pretty good. It’s the others that suck. And it don’t help Khris Middleton is basically thanasis at this point. Dude never plays
Should’ve kept Holiday and traded Middleton. Great player and had a magical run in 21 but he is just so injury prone and I think can be replaced easier, Holiday is way more reliable
middleton wasnt enough to get dame
Khris is giannis best friend there was no way they were trading him before jrue
Giannis never asked to leave lol this conversation is crazy 🤣
😂 Perk thought that Beyoncé line was gonna hit
😂😂😂
I think it is too early to write the Bucks off. Dame and Giannis are putting up great numbers. Chris is out, plus Trent Junior and the other role players are not stepping up yet. It will all get together during the season.
Don't duck and run, like LeBron has done pretty much his whole career? 😂😂😂. Funny how these ESPN analysts don't talk about LeBron the same way.
The whole panel receiving klutch payment 😅😅
That's a good summary Milwaukee. They are in no shape to make it to the 3rd round of the playoffs 🙀😔
Peak dame is better than Ja and Ant by the way and its not particularly close either.
Damian Lillard dragged Portland to the playoffs every year without a all star teammate...Doc Rivers is the problem
Bro you know nothing of what it takes to play basketball at a team or nba lvl lmao stop
Agree.. Holiday is a Stud!!
Jrue and Anthony Davis took out Dame and CJ
Perkins has nothing else to say about Middleton other than “old”; but he won’t talk about how he balled out against Pacers without Giannis and half the series without Dame (With two injured ankles).

5:10 ... I mean Giannis did have his whole team come out to his wedding in Greece

The Bucks shouldve never traded for Dame & traded Khris Middleton for Beal
But Beal has also had his fair share of injuries. He's had trouble staying on the court as well.
@ they still would’ve been better than they currently are
@@CoolTy23no they wouldn’t they need defense they should’ve traded Bobby portis, Middleton and pat already
Beal . 😂. That's a lot of money to pay and he's on the bench a lot now. In street clothes, hurt
Shannon was outta pocket for the Bud aspect.
I don’t think Giannis called him for him to be fired.
Can we talk about the Cavs ??
Nah they ain't did enough yet plus it's Cleveland 😂
What of OKC
What is so special with an 8-0 record? You all get so hyped easily. Season games are totally different come playoffs.
Jru Holiday should be a Hofer, just his impact on winning writes itself. But yea in terms of the bucks losing streak? Sounds like a Giannis problem...
Lillard stinks
Everybody talking about Jru Holiday but the key piece was PJ Tucker
The bucks problems stem from terrifying defensive protocols. It’s a coaching problem.
I blame ownership. They made all these decisions. Smh 🤦
The lakers roster is far from perfect but nothing will change as long as Dlo is the starting PG.
Trading Jrue was a bad move, hiring Doc was the worst move
Shannon was holding that grudge for knows how long 🤣
Giannis didn’t want J Kidd gone lol. They had to convince him that firing Kidd was a good decision. You gotta know what you’re talking about
Kendrick Perkins “Pal George” “Bam OutoftheBayu”
😂😂😂
Can't forget Rudy Go Bert
I know. I know. Hold on we at mass preparing corned beef and sausage patties
Aging sucks, not enough young talent and a coach that hasn't motivated the team
Milwaukee fell into the classic trap of small market teams, they get success and think they are a major market now. They have to have the "name" coach instead of the winning coach, they change the roster to get a couple more "names" instead of getting the key pieces they need.
I cant stand Molly. She always interrupt. upsetting
