So the main thing I take away from this episode is that if you see David and he says something is a 'Little bit Weird' .. You should probably stand back or maybe run the other direction.
That is a very accurate conclusion... Trust me.
I met David and had a few conversions with him at #flitefest 2016 at the rotor riot tent. I definitely got the impression 'thinking outside the box' applied mainly because the box exploded, burst into flames or both with reference to him. LOL

logistically, that's not going to happen. TWO knives with TWO rockets attached to TWO sleds? Not to mention that one sled and rocket knife will have to be at a 90 degree angle to the other knife and sled.... way too over the top in my opinion. Besides, what are you expecting? One (or both) of the knives get cut in half of something? boring! Just keep cutting neat stuff like this David, and ignore the idiots that keep suggesting TWO knives, since the concept of something original is so foreign to them that they simply suggest the same thing over and over (and over... even being the SAME damn item to cut that DOES the cutting) again.

He's actually using logic,unlike you. Two knives won't work.
Impossible the two knives tips will be flexing and wobbeling so much. Never get s point to point contact.
I still say, you need to angle the blade foreward, so it has a better "bite" ... and also the shock of impact reduces the probability of breakage

If you're mounting the rocket on the back of an RC car, the obvious next step is a rocket tricopter!!!
Mount a fan above the table,turn it on, and see if the knife hits a blade or misses! Try 2 blade verses 3,4 blade, and change the speed of fan, fast or slow, you get it. The slow mo would be great!

Split firewood, glass (regular, tempered, bulletproof), musical instrument (record sound too), car tire, tub of coffee creamer (or similar) exposed to open flame, make a lever to transfer the rockets energy when hit to launch a ball into the air and see how high it will go! Keep up the good work! Love the channel!
I think you need to repeat the Rocket Knife vs bowling ball, but make it Rocket **AXE** vs bowling ball. Checkout the episode of how ridiculous where they drop bowling ball onto an axe blade. They weld the axe blade onto a steel rod so that it is configured more like a chisel or spear, or lance. I want to see rocket axe built this way, with the rocket motor co-axial with the lance supporting the axe blade. Then the entire mass of the lance, rocket, and axe blade, and any residual rocket thrust will be in line with the point of impact. Something like rocket axe-blade-spear!

Rocket knife vs an impact explosive like Tannerite - if of course that's legal in Sverige (or David could backyard chemist a batch).
Or simply vs end grain of a log of pine or birch - see if it will act like a log splitter on steroids.

0:26 - If you weld like that it's best to switch to bolted construction. That's going to break going up against your high powered rockets.

Well you seemed to lile my suggestions last time. So here's a new list.
A birthday cake.
Another Turkey ...round 2 without the sheath.
An RC plane from behind (careful with remote trigger).
Dry Ice in a mug filled with water.
Turn some jeans into shorts.
Make a fruit/vegetable salad.
Open an envelope.
Chainmail armour.
Also why not rocket launch an object into a stationary knife?
Ooh, rocket jousting! Swap the knife for a large-ish spike and fire it into things ( water mellons, old tvs, paint cans etc etc ). Just a different spin on the concept, like a rocket propelled spear instead of a knife...
Suggestions: Old Plasma TV, Stacked up books, ballistic glass, non-Newtonian matter, and more animal parts!
David, the next knife, you should lay a bead of weld down the center of the tang (both sides) - trust me.
You should make more than just 1 rocket knife. Make one that has the force of the rocket sled in the middle for more even force distribution and another with the tip of the knife forward to stab stuff.
How about a rocket fist? It would be interesting to see what a steel fist punching something looks like.. Kinda like if you pissed off superman.

You could also mix hobbies and rocket launch an airplane.. ;) might have to build a custom plane for that one though ... lol

As high power rockets go, this isn't even that powerful. The result is still amazing.

I second the motion for a rocket tricopter! Maybe rockets at an angle, like JATO. Let it hover in front of the slomo and then zoooom and its gone. Some lamer ideas would be a thick strand of rope, straw human analog (as in fighting monk shows), liquid filled boat fender, can of shaving foam (classic), log of wood (rocket knife for making fire wood), a car or motorcycle tire (without rim). And please put some work into the table, it would be awesome to hit/split stuff dead center. And keep it up, this is really entertaining!

Perhaps revisit the bowling ball with a rocket-stab, like you did for the bulletproof/stab proof vest. Focusing all of that 200kph energy into a knife point impact could make for some spectacular debris.

Could you put a hammer head on the sled instead of a knife? That would shatter everything instead of cutting it. Would make for some great slo-mo. Think of what would happen to the bowling ball if a hammer hit it at 200 kph, or the block of ice!

Awesome. Please try carbon fiber, fiberglass, and kevlar in 3 separate runs. You could even try the 3 materials raw, and in a cured laminate.

Should make something to stand behind, this is the second time I've seen a derailment and I'd hate to see you guys get hurt, it would really put a dent in my rocket movie watching. But seriously awesome videos, and be careful!
If you add a counterweight to the bottom of the sled the knife will be more balanced after exiting the track. It would be cool to drop things at the end of the sled and cut them mid air. It would require a mechanism and some maths to get the timing right but I think it would look great in slow mo.
You dont balance something by adding weight to the heaviest side.... pretty basic stuff

Half issue with this test was the track and sled I need them to be connected as they hit that Wayne knife and sled have more support on impact
Ah, just get a 5mm thick bar of 5160. Do a video of you guys and gals making a forge, sharpening, and then heat treating it. My Great Great Grandfather was a Blacksmith from Värmland, so it'd be cool to see.

I think you might've had some small crack or just stress in the knife from the previous tests. I mean the ice block put up a fight against the knife already.
I think you need a bigger field for this one.... but oxygen tank vs rocket knife with candles lit , or rocket knife vs thermite... will the knife survive !
