I've been watching your vids for a few weeks now, and I am so inspired by you. I even got into buying polygel to learn how to do my own gels at home. I gotta say, I really suck at this right now. My first attempt had all the polygel oozing out from under the dual forms like a bad memory. My second attempt I tried using the nail form stickers, and my first nail came out like Frankenstein's foot. It took me hours to file it down to a semi-human-looking nail. I'm the kind of person who never quits til I get it right, so this is officially a new journey for me. One filled with mutant nails that, truthfully, should be registered as weapons, and globs of polygel all over my fingers, my towel, my desk, etc. What am I doing wrong? It looks so much easier when someone else is doing it. Anyway, sorry for the rant, but I'm in need of help. You're awesome!
I use full cover tips as dual forms, I put a very little amount of cuticle oil in it before I put the poly gel in to help the tips come off easier. I will definitely have to try the paper forms for underneath the nails!
I guess I'm old school LOL I LOVE the CURVE....so pretty. Love watching you and learning about everything NAILS....Your voice is SO perfect for teaching :-) Thank you.
I was struggling with trying to make the undersides smooth, I gave up and just did dip powders on my natural nails this week 😂 I will try this next week! Thank you Susie!
Hi there, I've been using pop it's with poly gel. I like your method of a full nail tip and using another type of gel. Could you tell me what type of gel and that pretty pink color name. Thank you, you are a star !!!
I am a newbie at polygel. I use dual forms and yes was having issues with undersides not being pretty… I bought round white tips… not full cover. Glued them on, used dual forms over them… once I filed back to the edge of the tip they look amazing!! I still use paper forms under the glued on tips… might not be correct, but I absolutely love how they look!

I don't know if this was addressed in comments earlier than mine, but Red Iguana has several dual forms that don't curve like the dual forms you showed at the 3 min mark. I've bought them to experiment on myself, and to see if i can find a dual form to fit my thumbs

it’s been fun watching camera man’s editing skills improve to the level he is today which arguably he’s either almost there or already an expert at this point
Suzie, I am so glad you've just done this video as last Sunday I used forms for the very first time! I used your Button forms and, as expected, for my first attempt it was a little bit fiddly but I managed to do 10 not bad looking nails. However, the undersides of the odd one or two were a bit bumpy and a little bit too thick in places and I thought 🤔 I wonder if Suzie has done a video showing what to do in this situation and here it is - you're a mind reader! Thanks Suzie ❤
@@NailCareerEducation Just wanted to add Suzie that those long, curved tips you showed at the start of this video reminded me of American singer Barry White's wife back in the 1970's - apparently they grew really long, 8" and curved just like those tips! My Mum commented at the time that it must be hard for her to do her everyday housework with nails that long! 🤔
I just ordered the pink gel and drill bit can't wait til it comes because I did the same thing, put in the gel pushed the tip on trying to hold it with my other finger to go into the light. Well, there was a big blob of gel on the underside of the nail, mmmm how do I get that out? It was not easy. But what a Brillant idea using the form!!
I would love to be able to buy your set. My nails are soft now and I need to make them stronger. I can't even ever have that kind of money to get your set. You have awesome videos! ❤

Thank you for this. My natural nails aren’t long enough to fit a form under. I don’t bite them. They just don’t grow very fast and they’re thin, so I guess I’ll try the filing underneath method. Wish me luck!
Hi Suzie!!! When I use just the nail forms (not the poppits) I often get the same type of crevice, or a well that traps dirt right where the natural nails start. Do you have any tips to combat that? Do others have that problem too?
Do you have a video using the poppit form and polygel to make pink and white? Btw.. I finally traded in my drimmel for a real nail drill. I got tired of burning my cuticles 🥴
I live for these videos! Question- how does this work with applying in layers? Do you just apply it thinly in the form? When I’ve tried extensions with a poppit they always crumble. Am I just doing it too thickly?
Is it recommended to clip the natural nail to make it shorter before using the pop it/nail form? The reason I ask is because my nail curves and leaves a space between the polygel and the nail tip. So I add poly gel and sort of press it down into the gap to fill the gap. Should I just clip my nail to avoid that?
I love doing this with a form and a full cover tip. Sometimes I have to finger over and cure upside down after I remove the form, if it didn’t cure all the way through. Sometimes I do it anyways, just in case.

When using the hybrid gel brush to move the product around, do you have to “condition” the brush like you do with an acrylic brush? Also, to remove product out of the hybrid brush, do you just use alcohol?
i've seen other nail gurus condition their gel brush by scrubbing in a gel product and swiping the brush into shape on a plate/tile before storing it, leaving the gel in the brush to hold the hairs in place
I have tried both of these ways but it still never comes out very clean. It's a huge pet peeve of mine to have product "under" my nails like I have dirt there. I wonder if I just need better product. I get half my stuff from wish. Lol
