I think you did very well there, put it next to 10 other Corsa C's and I think you'll still have the nicest one. A windscreen, a timing chain kit and a set of rear brakes will have that sorted for a couple of years. I can get obsessive about damaged cosmetic items in cars and most people tell me I'm crazy and it's not worth it. Maybe they're right, if your sister is happy with it as it is let her enjoy it. Regarding the number plate, it almost looks like it has the "new number plate" plastic over the top of it. Try scraping the corners and see if you can peel it off. I'm trying to do a similar project with a 2012 Mazda 2 at the moment, it was written off (cat N) due a scrape down the rear door and quarter panel but other than that its in fantastic condition. Unfortunately I messed up a few things in the process, when filling in the V62 I mistakenly wrote cat S and the DVLA registered it as one, losing me hundreds of pounds when I go to sell it. Then I bought a spot puller thinking I could remove some of the quarter panel damage, instead it burned holes through the panel so I'll have to pay someone to weld the holes up. Good luck with this (and the Volvos)
Corsa C is a a good car - older son has a 1.2 C and younger son has a 1.4 D (both petrol). C is by far better car to drive, D feels like your sat on it rather than in it and front screen seems miles away. The C did need a timing chain at 120k, the D a replacement (or rather used) engine at 159k!

they aint bad, but the head gaskets tend to fail, and then fail again a year later, like my old corsa lol
Hope to more vids on this🧐👌
