Hello from Mcr. Before deciding to scrap it drop me a line. Nice little runner. I'd replace the cassette unit with a modern screen unit, but obviously keeping the cassette unit somewhere at home.
I would keep it for now, get the sun-bleached paintwork sorted, do an engine service & have the rattling timing chain replaced, fit a set of new tyres, drive it for a while & then put it up for sale & make a tidy profit in the process.
It’s a pre-facelift I would fit led interior lights and facelift lights and rear lights to modernise it. It is the most basic model though. And air con was an optional extra
I would recommend doing a rocker cover gasket replacement, There is a quite noticeable amount of oil leakage around the gasket this is a really simple job and will only take you half an hour or so. Here is a video all about it and I recommend it because its very easy and simple to follow: ruclips.net/video/Ps47aEJ3kPE/видео.html. All in all keep these Corsa C's running well and they'll last forever.
