my screen is totally dead with long crack in it.. can i use more force on it once the edge all around is unglued... i mean can i just pull it to separate it from the island tape? .. i don't want to reach in with a sharp tool or card if i can avoid it..

Actually I can feel it getting hot on its whole green circuit after some time of use at 50% brightness
