thank you for this guide! I successfully managed to replace the broken screen of my S7 tablet... with some help from my 22 year old daughter and her small hands as I started to struggle with those tiny parts 😅
We expect much more from those who post repair videos. The way you broke the glass, you risk breaking the sidebar and cutting your hand. The table was not cleaned of glass debris and scratched the tablet. New displays if the strip contacts have not been cleaned with alcohol before, may have oxidized contacts and not work properly, even if they are gold. And you didn't test the display before gluing it. If it does not work after installation, you risk damaging the new display.
@@alexafa316 hey he probably repairs devices like this and he just watched this vid to see how you open it. Not how to replace te screen in depth. He is probably just giving a tip to do it better. I know it because its the same reason that i watch this. But i understand your reaction.
@@darthgonk7249 ah yeah I guess I would too. I had water damage and the screen stopped working after a few hours so maybe I need a new screen or connectors
I bought a new display and followed all the steps from your video. I don't know what is causing the display not to turn on after the replacement. All the cables are properly connected.
Excelente! Aprendi muito como usar as ferramentas, como essa pinça por exemplo. Mas você não ligou o tablet antes de colar a tela para ver se estava tudo certo. Provavelmente já havia feito, faltou só mostrar. Mas, parabéns pelo vídeo.
Question I got a new screen and I’m messing that piece on the back of the LCD screen connecting the Wacom ribbon to the and the digitizer together. I was wondering if you know the name of that piece and where to get a replacement part if you can?? 4:38
Hey, in case you haven't fixed yours yet. I'm struggling with this DIY too. But, I did see another video where they just transferred those parts over. Some replacements come with and some don't.
hey im wondering for my tab s7 the brown thing when u remove the screen is now exposed and now theres like a glitch lines on my screen and i cant tap or move my screen how do i fix this
Hello Rick, thanks for this video. I just swaped the screen of my SM-T870 S7 but sadly the black is not as black as it should. It more looks like a grey. I did check the colours via star#0star#. Everything looks good except for black. Its grey. Is there any chance I missed something tiny or is it possible to calibrate that via software? Did you encounter something like this before aswell? Thanks in advance for an answer!
Thanks for the video. helpful!!!! I replaced this screen once and broke the new screen forcing it down. The adhesive is a bitch I got some into the power button so makes it spongy/tacky. Today I ordered another replacement. hopefully 2nd times a charm. I might fix the screen and trade it in for the tab s8+.
Hi, im asking help from those who knows. I went to to replace my tab s7fe screen in a repair shop and they fixed my screen but the display doesnt not detect the s pen anymore... I'm starting to suspect that they didn't attach something? I really wanna get it working again. Thanks
They said I'm not able to use s pen because it broke when my screen was damaged... Which I find a bit weird since I replaced my screen with this repair..

Why you watching if you already know how to do everything?

not sure, connect back up the old display and see if it will display with it (might be a dud new screen)
What kind of glue did u use? It’s called frame glue? Or any glue can work
B7000 Frame Adhesive

has a plastic film over the top of it, that you remove at the end
did the screen work fine and look the same as before after you replaced it?
worked fine, but buying online quality will vary
I have the same which needs the glass to be replaced. Can you fix it? How may i get in touch with you?
