I bought a 1996 regular cab 5sp, 4x4 XE off the dealer lot for 12k brand new. Thing still runs like a top and has the original clutch and exhaust system. The odometer/speedometer both work intermittently now but I don't ever plan on selling it so doesn't really matter. The only thing I would've changed would have been to get the extended cab over the regular cab, but other than that this truck has been awesome. Its not as tight as it looks as the rear seats are raised higher then the cab seats given plenty of rides and even rode in the back when i have Been Drunk and needed my wife to drive me. 🙏
@@curtfox91 lol 😁 thanks
Just got one today!!!!😎👍🎆 1989 with about 12" of rust in an arc above both rear fenders not bad at all , great frame , cab and front fenders super clean , interior clean , no dents , 180k miles , one owner and always garage maintained (hope it was a good garage)😊😎
Due to covid you may not be able to get the clutch to work ever again I've had 3 throw out bearings go out and 3 months
I have a 2002 with 228,000 miles on it,easy to work on too
Ka24de
I had a 95 hardbody 5 speed single cab, had to sell it unfortunately and got a 95 Tacoma single cab automatic. The Tacoma eats gas like a mf. I’m thinking about selling the Tacoma and buying a 97 king cab just like yours in the same color and everything. What would you recommend? Keep the Tacoma or sell it for the king cab?
Is this on the stock lift?
Stock on 15s
@@curtfox91 where did you get your tires/rims? I just got a 94 hardbody stock, and I don’t really like the look of the stock tires. They’re too small.
I got a 97 145 xxx miles
Single cap 5 speed
What's the mileage?
160k
Thank you so much. Something to consider.
Can anyone answer this question for me... my speedometer stopped working. I pulled it out of my truck and drove around like that for awhile. Maybe no more than 200 miles. I want do a motor swap maybe an sr20det motor, but I want the miles to match on the body. Is their anyone I can tell from pulling the original ka24de?
You can reset your mileage on your speedo I believe. Don’t quote me you may have to do some extensive research but getting the Miles to match im not sure if it’s possible.
@@curtfox91 okay it's only off a little though. I mean would it matter to you? Because I was driving around with the cluster not in my truck at the time...
The truck has been in the family since 1992 brand new. That's why I want everything on point.
@@popclutch_100 aslong as that engine is breathing good and hitting time right. I wouldn’t care about the Mileage. But like you said it’s a family vehicle and mint so i would try to get it as close as possible in that case. 🙏 Best of luck
You didn't say the YEAR of your D21, but the manual transm all had speedometer CABLES until 1995? I replaced the cable on my '91, '92 twice each (with used cables) and then gave up. The square end gets "rounded off" in its square hole eventually.
Now I have a '96 5-spd and a '94 automatic. No cable.
I have a 1986 with a V6 .
For Sale
“Moist”😭💀
Just moist those seats are! 😅
I’m sold
I have a 1993 nissan d21 yes sir
Bro. If they are moist and grab me. I’ll pass. Ha ha ha ha ha. I appreciate you not taking that out. Lolol. 1 take BABYYY 🤙🏻👌🏻
😂 Cracks me up evertime someone brings it up idk what i was thinking about when i said that.
I have a 90 d21 59k original miles
we should start a list of things that are ok to describe as moist, and a list of things that are not
Dude am I the only one freaking out about the ONE PIECE OF TRASH IN THE BED. And it’s a water bottle. It’s insane
I live in the Desert always have water bottles in the back cause it gets do dry lol we have recycling bins though so by law we have to use them.
I have a 1993 4x4 four cylinders a Classic !!!!!
My dream car the gtr r35 in no longer going to be sold nissan has sold the last r35 thwy had and i live in Los Angeles where buttfuck everything is expensive and im 20 years old i wanna start working to maybe buy me a little truck like this
Moist lol. Had me cracking up.
Idk what the hell i was thinking about had a flashback of my Fiancé’ sitting Passenger.
Great Nissan.
No 4 cyl aftermarket or factory support though. Only junkyard parts. Otherwise awesome. Toyota owners have it easy.
Plenty of Aftermarket stuff for D21s and Modding also Nissan still distributes parts for D21s also Rockauto and places like that. You can do anything with these trucks ive seen it all
Bro that’s like saying 240sx has no Support or aftermarket lol
@@curtfox91... just the 4 cylinder 4x4. There is literally zero transfer case gears available. The v6 has everything, and no where near the availability of Toyota. Sad because the ka is so awesome. I've read all the forms and called all the parts places. The spline is different.
I just rebuilt my engine on my 4x4 5 speed ka. It's almost mint. Just wish I didn't have to try as hard to get parts for 4x4 when mine break or wear.
@@curtfox91 ...also, love your video! We need more champs like you preaching the good word.
I plan to turbo mine down the road!
@@grantog123 your talking about the 4x4s and V6 models yeah not sure about those. But the ones with Ka24 engines are the ones that has the most support.
The engine's are good but my d21 automatic transmission went out at 110,000 last year I also had a d21 5 speed it had 200,000 still ran good when I sold it
Really ive had both types and both of mine went beyond 300k its all about maintenance over time with autos you have to drain and fill the transmission and change your transmission seals and rear main seal. Only way these go out is lack of fluid.
It's moist. HAHAHA!!! Thank you for that laugh.
Is this for sale?
No
Only one reason..better than a dam toyota22r rubbish.i got 88 hardbody..mines a classic..
Instead of 8 bucks now its 16 bucks per day
Love me a moist chair
Please quit telling people to buy these trucks, I like not having to pay a hype tax. This kind of stuff gets a bunch of kids who think hoonigan is cool and drifting requires crashing snapping up anything useable.
No
these trucks will run 500,000 miles with no problem
Thats good
Moval, probably
My guys video here like he’s looking for ladies..-!
