Fuji instax is what I use to show clients and take with them after a shoot. Always makes there day.
Bought it. Harder in the dark. Zoom can be annoying since it can easily be nudged from your intended zoom. Wish there was a lock.
The portable printer is an amazing idea!

Gotta admire your gusto with asking for shots. Never have the guts to do it here in NYC. The print idea is pure genius!
This lens seems quirky (no pull zoom, zoom reset on power up... basically everything about the zoom)... but also super nice. I'm stuck on 24-70/F4 + 85/F1.8 right now... but down the road I could definitely see this 16-35/F4 + Tamron 35-150/F2-2.8 being a rrrreal good combo. I use A7c and these smaller F4 zooms are muuuuch appreciated.

Hey great video Pierre! I wonder, what percentage of the photos would you say we're shot at 35mm for street? This is the purpose for which I'm considering this lens and I'm wondering if it's worth sacrificing the DoF capabilities of a 35 1.8 for the wide angle ability.

What prime lens would you recommend for documentary work, short films, and vlogs? I recently purchased the Sony A7iv
I first was hating it cause of the PZ and cause of the 16mm I would prefer being 14mm but then again I wouldn’t mind compromising 2mm for the size of it. My dream was to always have a compact wide lens for street or travel and honestly I think it’s finally here. I’m just waiting to see how the rumored sigma 14-30 f4 will be compared to this

In 18-105 PZ before for apsc, the Pz function is battery draining. But hope this will not let people down😂

I don't know about the A1, but with the A7IV you can set the Zoom speed in a menu setting. Also it you can set Zoom to Clear Image and get more zoom range. I hoping in the future Sony will offrt a new 24-70 or even a 24-105 with this zoom feature.
Is it good setup if I get A7RV and just one 70-200 F4 Macro II and use standard iPhone 15 for closer shoot? iPhone 15 has 13mm, 26mm and 52mm and less intimidate and always be with you, that tele can get you to 600mm with 2X converter and APSC mode and 1:1 macro. Before this I thought to get SONY Xperia 1 V as pocket camera because it's more natural than iPhone but I will end up carry 2 phones and one not much better than other. I thought to get RX100 because it is more likely to get carry and less intimidate, RX10 will get to 600mm at mirrorrless body size but I hope both will get update with their Exmor T sensor technology. Leica Q3 is nice but I Like Hasselblad X2D color more, with XCD 28mm F4 (28mm FF eq.) on the X2D, it's noot much bigger than it and that is one thinng I wonder, why carry a smaller camera if it is not pocketable small, you get less grip and EVF yet still need to keep in a bag, that's why I wonder what's the point to get a not so much better and slightly smaller camera and not just straight up an RX100 or a full size capable camera like A7RV which is like their APSC body with a big EVF attached and a good 4 way flip screen. If I going to get a closer lens, should I get 20-70mm F4 which is the actual first lens I thought to get to pair with A7Cii/A7CR before the tele or should I get the wider 16-35mm F4 PZ which cover more range pair with the tele and the missing 35mm < x < 70mm doesn't matter since I can crop. I shoot as hobbyist and use for personal product shoot sometime, I don't like to bokeh the background because I want my photos and videos with story and creativity and also I shoot with phone majority all my life and want to step it up but I not sure should I just enjoy the convenient of just carry a phone and I not sure I will always carry and use the camera body to justify the price. What do you think? Also, can you easily digitally crop in as much as you want like smartphone pitch to zoom during recording video and photo or you have to and only able to crop to the available crop level like APSC mode, how many digital crop level available too?

i really wanna step up my photography game, but i dont know if it would make sense to upgrade my Canon 60D. I just fell like the low light and stuff is not that great, but i only have the kit lens and the good old 50mm 1.8 lens.
I have a travel camera (Panasonic GX 85/80) and i think it almost looks as good as the canon (use that more for filming though)
Does someone has recomendations for a Canon or maybe another camera which does not blow my budget from already beeing small. (i wanna put some money aside for that and get it end of the year though)

What little printer are you using?

In photography is it not annoying to have to look through the camera screen to see the zoom setting ? I’m so used to a traditional zoom and seeing it set when looking at the lens barrel… I’m pretty worried it’ll annoy me a ton (I don’t do videography)

Would you consider it a budget lens though? There are cheaper options that are as good (if we exclude the power zoom effect). Not sure yet if it is worth it. Nice shots though!
Mmmmm "budget" is a tough word to use because it is an investment but if you're looking a size, weight, quality and performance it's a pretty good one!
@@Pierretlambert Investment if one is a professional, but not if one is an amateur photographer. If one is lucky one would get what one paid for it if sold later, but definitely not more.
very nice review. Jason Vong mentioned that when you switch it on/off, it resets to 16mm, not nice when you have a setup ready.
Also, zooming being internal, the symetry axis doesn't change and no need to retune the gimball in video.
Are situations where F/2.8 is really needed (ie: night street photo at mas iso 6400...) ? is F/2.8 much sharper ? better depth of field on such wide angle ?

I was more blown away by the printer as by the lens ^^. I use the Zeiss and yes, it would be nice to have something even mor lightweight and compact. But 1500€ for that thing?! Thats close to 500€ more then the Zeiss. Thats just ridiculous. But the printer, oh yeah...

It’s the canon ivy, but the ivy uses ZINK paper which makes terrible photos. Don’t recommend.
