I'll admit, I loved this villain for a decent few reasons, his skill in combat is very good and actually surprised me how well he held his own against Rick and the others,his powers are very unique, fun to watch and visually intriguing especially when regarding his transformation into the 3 headed dragon which I thought was very unexpected but also pleasantly surprising,however, if I had to pick the better villain out of this one or Imhotep, I would easily have to say Imhotep is the much better villain coz the humanity in him was displayed perfectly especially when he was fully regenerated,his intimidation was far greater even in his fully human form which makes the stakes for the main protagonists that much greater and his powers,while some were more subtle than the dragon emperor like the part where he literally came through the keyhole whilst transformed into sand,he also displayed power far beyond the dragon emperor like showing his aptitude for sand manipulation in a very grand scale, commanding possibly millions of locusts to convert many of the townspeople into his minions and his greatest feat of power IMO,causing an eclipse even whilst his powers were STILL growing

Both Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh were incredible stars and their performances are top notch. Although Jet Li retired from his acting, he still helping other people while Yeoh would go on to have long decent career including her Oscar worthy performance in her new movie about her character time travel to multiverse and fight some random but strong adversaries(I forgot what the name of the title but it was awesome).
This is great..instead of giving immortal life to the emperor..she give him a curse..general ming knows that if the emperor got to be curse this is the end of the emperor's power to rage..general ming also know that the emperor dont keep his words..

Chinese call him qin shi huang or shi huang di, never qin shi huang di.

Spell, hell - a sturdy wooden mallet would've sufficed. She wouldn't even need to smash all of them, just Qin.

1- The transformation into a mummy is vry painfull
2-you get to have superpowers or a random transformation

It's was so weird seeing Jet Li be a bad guy lol but I really enjoyed the change of pace for him.....

This movie is highly underrated. Much as I love Rachael Weisz, the plot didn't revolve around that character, so her recast wasn't worth writing off the whole film. Aging up the son just made sense. The yeti scene, the ending fight scenes both 1 vs. 1 AND the undead old army versus the emperor's army was awesome. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of development for the emperor-no real reaction to being out of time, and could've had more good moments. Otherwise was a worthy installment. Would've liked to seen a fourth "Rise Of The Aztec" as planned, not that garbage mission impossible; the enchantress "reboot" they made that bombed.

In my opinion I think the emperor in this movie was based of the real life chinese emperor Qin shi Huang. He did a lot of things that are mentioned the emperor in this movie did including starting the great wall of China and burying bodies of the dead workers under it and he was also obsessed with becoming immortal just like the emperor in the movie

I think the best mummy movies are the mummy and the mummy 2 with Rachel weisz and brenden Fraser the original cast. This mummy tomb of the emperor is alight but I think the best series is the cast of the original characters and actors that make the best trilogy's.
