Not too difficult to understand. People will watch 3hrs to be entertained (e.g. cinema, concert), but not to be educated (e.g can barely gets through a 2hr lecture) 😂😢

I believe our brotha is speaking of priorities, more so than just the 3 hours long video. I get it. I watched some of the Katt Williams video myself, as I took care of other concerns. However, As someone with a day job and a side job, I don't think our brotha was overreacting, given the mental conditioning of our Black folks: I can't get some of my own relatives...who ask me for financial help...to join me on a 20 minute financial seminar/business opportunity...but they can remember almost the entire 3 hours (or think they try to recall the entire 3 hours) of the Katt Williams Interview, regardless of whether or not they were multitasking at the time of the interview.
Therefore, I feel why Anthony is so passionate about this. Well, in my opinion, it's like tough love.

I thought I was the oddball because I couldn’t watch someone for 3hrs in an interview without feeling convicted about spending 3hrs of time with God & working on myself. Stop ✋🏾 it just stop it there’s no way you’re sitting here. Aligning yourself with all things God and financial literacy 24 seven that’s not how the human body and brain is made you have to have a balance between education, learning, rest, time, entertainment, downtime there’s nothing wrong with enjoying your time the way you want to! Besides, no one was sitting there watching this for three hours straight. Besides It’s called a podcast for a reason because you can multitask while you listen.

@@nishashawn2021 because black people blame everyone & the environment why they aren’t successful & complain about their financial situation & complain about black people aren’t helping them, but they aren’t doing the work & not making the right decisions. It’s a lot of black people below the age of 30. Don’t have ownership, a lot of debt, don’t even know what a deductible is, bad credit, & don’t even invest in themselves. Blacks need to take accountability and stop blaming everybody. They waste their time putting their energy into the wrong things & their life is out of order.

I hear what you are saying but it wasn’t just about laughs and gossip. Katt was sharing about his childhood and what has helped shape him as a comedian and a person. There were gems and laughs. It was refreshingly honest in a society of fakery and lies.
It’s great to see your heart for the people. You want everyone to do well. There are also many black content creators (including yourself) that have now made videos on the topic and revenue will be generated for you all as a result.

It's odd to hear that you believe the interview was gossip when the majority of the interview he was discussing his connection to God, being a father, being a servant leader, not compromising his integrity, work ethic, gratitude for life among so many other valuable things and all you could think of was to yell at folks for listening because he aired personal grievances along with it.

Yes, I watch the ENTIRE video as a treat when I'm up for countless hours, days, and months working on me and my goals and ambitions. It's called balance. Just like watching a movie. Which I BARELY do. But when my brain is fried from the grind, I'm going to give my brain what it needs to KEEP GOING! You don't know what people are doing to better themselves.

I watched it while working.. before it spread to the media. I also spent time going over what went well and what didn’t for last year, set goals, updated my resume, and went over my financial goals. I’ve also watched your videos and realized that I needed to go back and truly visualize my plan for the year. I’m considering looking into Bethel b/c I would like to gain other skills since I am a new grad. There is a balance, but I will be limiting junk news going forward. Yes, so true!!!! When it comes to educating or investing in ourselves we definitely do not take action. I have so many individuals asking me to help them with budgeting but they will not do the simple action of pulling bank statements. I/we can’t help folks until they are ready to be help. I agree. I don’t think anyone should watch the interview if they don’t want to. Many channels have done highlights. Im a Kat williams fan (my fav comedian). My husbands is Dave Chappelle. I watched after the first 24 hours so I could watch with my husband. I think you can clean the house and even do finances tend to your 401k, 529, high yield savings account and Roth IRA simultaneously while watching tv. It’s okay to not watch the interview. It’s okay to watch it too.

I hear you young man, and I used to be one of those complainers, thinking I wasn’t getting enough breaks when I was growing up, but today I understand the ignorance behind my low self esteem. For some of us we heard a truth about an industry that we knew but we didn’t know if you can understand. I’m 68 years old sir and a born again Christian. Wasting time is something that we all seem to do, at various times in our life. If you can hear this, what I’m about to say is don’t get frustrated with some of us, and specially with the many young brothers and sisters that’s not where you’re at in life. If you are going to take on this job of Christianly helping those that need your help then, I think that you can see where others haven’t gotten where you are mentally in Christ and in your financial class. I just watched the interview the other day and it was exciting. I was impressed that it held my attention. There’s something attractive about speaking truth to power as black people. It’s ingrained in us. For me it confirmed that my discernment was seriously on point. Tbh. The interview motivated me and had me asking God more questions than I normally do.
It was a nice break from reality.
I typically take notes when I read and watch videos anyway to ensure that I’m being productive and also, so that I can apply what I’ve learned. That interview was just needed. Ironically enough I truly believe that more people may seek to know Christ as a result.
I’m crazy enough to believe in what the average may find stupid or impossible. 💚

I put in the earbuds to listen while cooking and cleaning. I didn't sit and watch. Took me 3 days to finish it. Also my 2024 planning started in November 2024. Have a vision board, business plan and personal/household plan. Opened some accounts and started the accountability. I got balance.

I feel this!! I’ve spent 5-7 hours this year learning to trade options and risk management. It’s so important to invest in yourself and broaden your skillset. I enjoy my current job but I’m over being fixed into the hourly pay 🥴

There’s an app out there call “Pocket Options” I’m in that space too and it’s very helpful. They give a demo account to trade until your ready to get into real trading and it actually worked for me🙏🏽 if you haven’t downloaded it yet, give it a try, see how it helps you out! God Bless you!
Personal , I watch that interview , bc life so over whelming at times and sometime you just need a good laugh to take your mind off the everyday life of Bills , wife , kids and work . Etc. But , To God Be the Glory .

Facts. Exactly what I was thinking. I watched the first couple minutes and said I do not care this much about a much of celebrities when I have my own family to think about. Many people in the comments saying they did both but Anthony has a major point... why did that video go SUPER viral when it did nothing to benefit anyone personally?
