    I just went through this a second time in a year. Asus Rog G15. I'll never buy another Asus laptop. Had to do 3 or 4 hard resets to get the screen back again.

      @@asus_support Was this for me? Because I have a ROG STRIX G15 I purchased in 2021 and honestly I have had nothing but bliss with this laptop until the screen gave out.
      I would turn it on and the on button would light up and so would the keyboard, I’d even hear that iconic WOOOSH I’d come to love.
      I’ve tried the hot keys and whatnot and I ended up having to take it to a computer shop and found that the display panel had given out. I deem this to be quite unacceptable, I’ve had burner laptops last longer than this. And especially for the price, I was very disappointed that i’d be having to repair the product between 2-3 years. Not to mention how unhelpful the ASUS warranty hotline was. I don’t know if that’s just because it was the Australian sector, because let’s face it when it comes to overseas companies Australia always gets the short end of the stick. I’m really disappointed in this and I think I’d agree with Bill and not buy another Asus. Just not worth it.

      @@asus_support Thank you for your responce Asus. I've owned this laptop for a year now. It;s the G513QY. twice when booting up I would get a black screen. But, I could tell windows 11 did load up in the background. For fixes I run the SFC/scan now in DOS. That did find errors last time. I run a couple other DOS windows to check and fix the system also. I forgot what they were now. I was going to bring it back to Best Buy but I always seem to get it running after 3 or 4 hard resets. That's about all I can tell you.

    I need help/support:
    Asus Z390-A Prime, pc use for gaming every day, restarted pc other day as i usually do once in a while and this is what has happened:
    Pc gave it's normal start up BEEP and then my monitor stayed OFF and then BEEP BEEP BEEP....pause.........BEEP and i can hear the windows logo, so i know windows loaded, fans are spinning but i have no display. I can use ONBOARD graphics via DVI cable but no gpu works
    I have tried different cables, different gpu, different gpu lane, tested ram, deafulted BIOS to factory settings and nothing works, i can only use onboard graphics via DVI cable.
    Seeing i can still use the cpu and motherboard via onboard gpu to use windows on my monitor and even play games i would say the cpu/mobo are fine unless ALL of my PCIe lanes have ALL blown out?
    Need help.

    Hey Asus Support. I like your products, i really like them. Just one problem with it are black screens. Black screens in your laptops are the primary problem for many of us customers. So let me describe this, I turn on the laptop, it shows display and the power button light has light up to white which means it has turned on, but... The second time I use the laptop, it will show a black screen, no display, though the power button light is turned on. I tried to turn it off again and power it bavk on and this time, both the power button and capslock light shows up. I tried to connect it to a External monitor bia a micro HDMI cable and it shows nothing. This is pretty weird to have this problem and a capslock that lights up is more weird. My laptop is an ASUS ZenBook UX305 and I know the laptop has power but sadly, none of the solutions worked. What I consider is you should wait and be patient, laptops have a cooldown and it is random. So wait a little bit and power it on again, it may be frustrating to use this, but trust me there is no other solution to consider other than this.

    Hey, I would like to buy Fractal design Focus 2 RGB ATX Mid Tower Case and I have an Asus Prime B360M-A motherboard is it compatible? I know that this case supports micro atx motherboards and my motherboard is micro atx but my question is that this case comes with rgb fans included and for me to use this rgb fans I need to connect them to a 3pin 5v argb connecter on my motherboard but I dont have that 3pin 5v argb connecter on this specific board. Is there a solution for that? And if there let me know, and let me know if it’s compatible.
    Also I would like to buy an Thermalright Frozen Notte 240mm aio but same problem what should I do?

    Is your laptop plugged in most of the time? Have you tried unplugging the power cord while your laptop is on and letting the power drain to around 30% before shutting down (and do not plug it back in)? I'm noticing that the problem usually occurs if the laptop is fully charged and/or if the power cord is plugged in when I shut it down. I rarely have the problem when the laptop is unplugged and discharged to around 30 or 40% when I shut it down. I don't plug it in again until about 10 minutes after I've powered back up. It's a pain, but seems to work so far.

      I'll have to start doing this. I used to get messages to run the battery down once in a while. Past year I've never gotten that message. I think it was Armoury Crate telling me to discharge it some.

    I recommended please don’t suggest anyone to buy ASUS company laptop. Black screen facing tried all options no luck. If you using ASUS laptop and still working means you lucky.

    Just bought my Asus Tuff A17 2023. Same issue, powers on with no display. Will try these tips and get back. was the first or second power on after updates so perhaps does not have the right video drivers, etc.

    Hi i have asus x441m, it has black screen but the indicator light is on. before that happened i run the windows update, then on the restart process it went to ez flash booting. after it finishes booting the screen went black with the indicator light on. i tried the above solution for black screen with light on, but it doesn't work. can anyone pls help, i need to use my laptop.

    Integrated Display Not Detected PLEASE HELP - ROG Zephyrus M16 (2022)
    Issue Summary:
    The problem started when I was shutting down the laptop and closed the lid then immediately disconnected the external monitor. Then after a while when I turned on the laptop (without the external monitor) the laptop's internal display failed to turn on, despite the system seemingly running Windows normally. So I went back and connected the external display and the laptop was working fine except only on the external display and the internal display is undetected. The problem is that even the boot screen and the bios are on the external display, almost as if the internal display is non-existent. But, here comes the weird part: when I switch to "Ultimate mode" and restart everything goes back to normal and works as it should and the bios is on the correct screen.
    Attempted Solutions:
    Tried to do the reverse actions (maybe the lid had to open while connected to the external display); no effect.
    Completely uninstalled and reinstalled Nvidia GPU drivers using DDU; no effect.
    Completely uninstalled and reinstalled Intel GPU drivers using DDU; no effect.
    Completely uninstalled and reinstalled Armory Crate; no effect.
    Completely uninstalled and reinstalled System Control Interface; no effect.
    Tried to use GHelper; no effect.
    Did a Hardware reset / CMOS reset; no effect.
    BIOS reset while on Intel GPU; no effect.
    BIOS reset while on Nvidia GPU; no effect.
    BIOS rollback; no effect.
    Additional info:
    The Intel GPU functions correctly when an external display is connected via USB-C, the Intel GPU is working.
    No physical hardware issues with the laptop.
    When using the Intel GPU and external display Device Manager shows the integrated display as hidden with "Code 45" (hardware device not connected).
    When I installed GHelper (and with Intel GPU and external display) it says Internal screen off.
    No BIOS setting is available to change the display although it seems that the Asus BIOS has very limited settings.
    In the BIOS (with Intel GPU and external display) under the LCD label it says the resolution of the external display - probably thinks that is the default.

    Same issue , but hasnt resolved yet - Bought the Asus Zenbook Pro Duo as soon as it was released in 2020
    Faced the issue in early 2024 and has not been swithcing on since
    Doesnt take any power from the adapter , or the thinderbolt tyoe C port as well and No amount hard reset is getting any reaction - its just Dead
    Kindly guide as to what can be the next move now

    Maybe this can be of any help for those who experience a black screen. Two weeks ago after restarting my TUF gaming A15 only the ASUS logo showed up for about a second and after that a black screen. I tried everything showed in the video above but nothing works. I went to the shop where I bought the laptop, they tried the same as I already did. Their conclusion was that the laptop needs to be send for repair to the ASUS service center somewhere in the East of Europe and expecting this would take at least four weeks. I decided to take my laptop back home to think it over. At home I googled for the key to get into the BIOS which seems to be not the F8 key neither the DEL key. I found an article thats says I needed to press the F2 key. So thats what I did after a restart and to my surprise the BIOS screen showed up and I scrolled trough the BIOS settings and found nothing abnormal so I clicked on Save&Exit and after a reboot Windows showed up and everything was normal again, problem solved!😄

    i have ROG strix g713rm 32gb ram 1tb storage , in last 3 months display turned into black screen 2 times and not turning on so i have to go to customer service center. they unplugged the the screen and plug it again then it starts working again. they say even they do not know why this is happening . and i have to got to center whenever this happen in future again. that is frustrating. i bought it just a year ago . tell me what i should do?

    Hi There, i bought Asus Zenbook Duo UX8406 few days ago. The laptop is now not able to detect the battery and boot from it. Only able to power on with power supply plugged in?
    This is quite unfortunate for such wonderful product.

      Please press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds to shut down the laptop. Remove all devices connected to the laptop. Wait for 10-15 minutes, then connect only the charger and power on the laptop to check.

    Подскажите купил 2 месяца назад ноутбук ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 16 G634JY-NM057W, все работало нормально, пришлось уехать на 10 дней, как обычно завершил работу, дождался как выключиться, закрыл крышку, батарея была заряжена на 100%, отключил питание на переноске, отключил провод адаптера блока питания. Приехал домой, подключил в розетку, индикатор загорелся, около часа стоял на зарядке, открыл крышку, нажал на кнопку питания, подсветка загорелась но экран черный, прошло секунд 20 и выключился, таких повторений раза 4 результата не дали (ксатати все было отключено от ноутбуке), снял крышку поменял местами оперативную память, около минуты не включался, потом запустился как обычно, батарея была около 20%. Можно было бы спереть все на оперативку, но нет, это был уже второй раз после моего отъезда на 10 дней, прошлый раз помогло зажать кнопку включения. Возникает вопрос мог ли ноут разрядить в выключенном режиме до нуля 8-10 дней просто стоя на столе. И я не пойму он что от питания не может на прямую включиться, нужно обязательно что б зарядилась батарея? Пожалуйста ответьте мне! Заранее спасибо!

    Twice in less than 2 months I've had to do a 40 second reset; why? I've only ever had HP PCs before and never experienced this problem, this is not impressive and though I like the laptop it's already showing that it's unreliable and may well eventually fail. I shall be sharing this comment on Amazon too.

    I have asus rog g752 laptop and the power light is on but the screen is dark. Its not about brightness and i think the hdmi doesnt work. I need help its not working since 2.14(valentines) it randomly stopped working. I dont think there is customer service in mongolia please help

    Asus!, i need help ,i bought an asus TUF A15 2023, Since the i first turned on this laptop i face a similar issue, Black screen after turning it on but keyboard is lit up and fans are working, only way i get rid of it is by pushing the power button for a while then turning it back on ,once i turn it on again it takes longer to boot than usual, this also happens sometimes when i try to wake it up from sleep mode, it is more common in Standard and optimized gpu modes but it also happens in ultimate gpu mode, i tried all sorts of bios reset ,troubleshoots but it only fixed it for few days and now the issue is back 😢, pls dont make this my first and last time buying Asus laptops...

    Hi! I have a ROG G14. So, i will be working on it for 10 min and it will just shut down by itself. I was able to turn it back on.
    However, this time I can't get it to turn on. I also noticed that the battery light isnt light up even though it was charging for 30 min

    My Rog Ally actually broke, after the BIOS update it stopped turning on, only the Asus screen appears and then the black screen flashes twice and the BIOS doesn't open either, we've even tried to insert it back into the chip, without success, I believe something burned on the motherboard.
    CHALLENGE AND REWARD, whoever comes up with the solution to this problem, if I can't solve it, I bought the most expensive paperweight of my life.

    mine is tuf gaming f15 laptop, this is the second times i faced this problem. when i open my laptop, the screen very dark same as black screen, but still can see somethings there. i can't do anything because i can't even see where my mouse is, it is too dark. I have try with FN+F7 to make it brighter and try to restart and restart, but not working. i feel very disappointed and angry, because of this problems i cont finished my assignment on time, i will lost a lot of marks for late submission because of this.     I had a xiaomi mi notebook air 13.3 used for 6 years with minor battery problems. Nothing other than that. It has been a couple of months since I bought my ASUS K6604J and I have started searching for trouble shooting videos already.... Such regret.. Funny thing is you have made a video with animations and funny music like this is not a problem solving video but an online ad.
    Hard reset for solution? Really . Wow.. Next time I'll buy the cheapest sh.t Chinese laptop not even xiaomi...

    I will NEVER buy another ASUS product again. Their laptops are absolute garbage. My Zenbook refuses to power on and I've had nothing but issues since I've purchased this trashcan of a laptop. Choose another manufacturer. ASUS is not worth the time or money.
