- SPAA vehicles are the main and the most reliable way to protect your team from aerial threats. A machine gun strapped on your tank might work in a pinch, but it’s no match to specialized anti-aircraft weapon systems. We’ve already made a video on the SPAA vehicles found in the German tech tree, including the advanced and highly versatile Gepard… and the fearsome Kugelblitz. Today we’re going to look at their Soviet counterparts!

@@redned7771 Maybe if youre sitting in spawn, even a gepard cant reliably kill targets past 2km. You need to push out with your team and preferably stay a little back so you wont get killed by tanks.

Adats is probably best. It has OP missiles in terms of AA and anti tank capabilities. I like the tunguska more though, the adats is just a fat and ugly SPAAG.

While we're talking about radar assisted SPAAs, please fix the glitchy radars!
If you're talking about radar offset when tracking low-flying targets, that's a real-life thing called multi-path propagation. It's an intended feature.
@@vapetrail2909That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about being unable to lock a target when in clear sight and not flying low. As well as the lock-window moving itself to other positions on your screen or just right out disappearing, giving you no ability to lock the target at all.

Ive got to say the thumbnails of your videos are amazing. Im amazed at how nice and cool every videos thumbnail is. Im just saying i really appreciate the efort in making them.
My favorite is the zsu 52 because recoil has become thrust now.

Ease of use tends to be what makes a great vehicle in War Thunder. These AA can easily kill aircraft with practice but otherwise they're tough.
@@PyroBlonde7777 tell that to the Zis-43, who only has a chance at taking out an aircraft that is doing a diving at you, or is moving in a perpendicular or parallel line to your tank with no acceleration.
No issues with my Milk truck taking out Planes, bombers and light tanks

Actually the btr spaa is good enough to take more than 5 planes down in a row with it's 300 gun mag
I have two favorites, the ZSU 23 4 shilka, and the ZPRK 2S6 Tunguska.
More wheel axes on a vehicle means it can carry more total weight. So explain me this.
3 axes Milktruck - carries a single DshK. 2 axes Milktruck carries a proper heavy AAA

Hey, Gaijin, I appreciated that you put the "Phòng không T-34" in your game, but that version war made in Vietnam, not from China. We made that from the T-34 which we received from USSR. Their is only one version of that vehicle was made in Vietnam.

to sum it up: every thing (except GAZ-AAA (4M)) is next to useless until you get the shilka
the ZSU-57-2 is mostly only effective at anti tank work. but its over BR'ed and I find myself doing little damage to planes if I somehow manage to hit it with the HE round

The 2K22 Tunguska. It's a icon of the self-propelled air defense system
Please add some more Soviet spaa because they need some between the ZSU 37 and ZSU 57 2 and between ZSU 57 2 and ZSU 23 4 and between ZSU 23 4 and Tunguska reason for that is the ZSU 37 is to weak to fight at 6.7 for example against the first jets, the ZSU 57 2 maybe have a small chance at 7.7 but only if its hightier and the Shilka is good if you fight helicopters that have to came close or first era jets because it only have an effective range of 1.5 to 2 km and planes that she have to fight like the G 91 don't have to come that close (range of the Nord rockets is 8km effective range 2- 3km )same problem with helicopters with guided missiles
Phong khong T-34(Phòng Không T-34) is "Airspace Defense T-34" which is basically, you guys all know, a turret of a AA mounted on a hull of a T-34-85

question for the next shooting range vid: can you bost the inteligense points in the Ships RB? it fells strange that ships batles does not have this tipe of reward compared to Air RB and Tanks RB

Dear gajin: air rb is broken.
-round phase through enemies, so faster firing lower caliber guns have a better chance to hit due to the sheer amount of rounds
-me 163 rips at 2 g’s randomly, and it’s dolly falls off too early in takeoff
-me 262 c-2b is much less maneuverable than it should be
-meteor mk 3 is a bit slow, as is the 262
-me 163 climb rate is completely messed up. In real life or could climb at a 70 degree angle, and this was in fact it’s optimal climb rate, while in game it can be out climbed by an f80 (why is that a thing, this has been my biggest gripe with the game, like why can a jet out climb a, you know, rocket.)
-f84 wings rip randomly
-bf 109 guns spark and do nothing, so you can’t get a single kill
-spitfire has the same problem as the bf 109
-262 c2b is way to heavy for what mods are on it.
-me 163 climb (this has been stated before, but this is probably the most annoying other than the guns phasing. Rocket out climbs jet irl, it’s that simple)
Fee free to add on to the list, I really only play Germany me 163 and British meteor, but I’ve heard other complaining about the other thjngs

Did he just say the zsu-57-2 is good at fighting aircraft? is the producer high? Yeah, if you hit something you'll definitely one shot any aircraft. But in there is the problem IF you hit anything. Good luck shooting down early jets and top prop planes at 7.7 with a less than stellar fire rate and reload. oh and the fact that firing on full auto mode makes the shells go crazy, making the effective fire rate even lower than what it shows on the stat card.
when war thunder goes through the entire Tec tree in less then 10 mins, while plays go through it in less the 10 years

I don't even play War thunder but I like watching as a "threw history" kinda thing along with as a Commander for AI in Arma 3 I wish I had my hands on some of these.
fun fact, the maxim and dhsk AAs loose traverse speed if you run out of battery, I guess the tripod is battery powered.
Zsu 57, it should be in tank destroyer tree, because hitting any plane with it extremely not easy. But tanks are perfect food. I never saw other players trying to aa with the zsu. Just roaming around the map and hunting tanks

Hi Gaijin, would mind to add more ally and/or enemies tanks and planes in training ground? USA looks so empty, there are only two ally fighters on Pearl Harbor sky. More air targets or tanks would be nice.

honestly I expected mention to its range rather than its anti tank capability. I think main reason expansion of its caliber, 7mm to 12,7mm, 25mm 37mm, 57mm is not aim to anti tank, its range. plane became fast that old range is too short to start shooting.
@gajin why you remove the tracking and following of planes With spaa s in RB? Now it's impossible to fight against jets and planes without radar... Especially for br 6.3 and higher where you have to fight against jets
