That would be really cool if we had story driven gamemodes in tank battles with the infantry
I still want single player ground missions like the ones they have for aircraft, and more for aircraft considering how many have been added and other nations since then

I will write this again in case: Hey Gaijin! I have a recommendation! Could you add the cloudy effect at the aircraft's wing (the cloudy thing visible on a jet's wing during turning, known as wing condensation, not the tip) at top-tier jets? THAT WOULD BE COOOOL!
the clouds at high g's and high alphas? and they could add it so that when a plane is super sonic and low to the ground players cant here it unless they are behind the plane

My experience with the BMP-2 so far is being blinded by the exhaust when aiming to the right.
which makes no sense since exhaust tream should be a see-through for thermal sights.
i had that issue with the bmp-1. I also dislike how low of a survivability it had
irl that is not a thing...idk why they treat exhausted smoke as smoke-screen in WT.

the one downside to the bmp-2m is that engine on the right
I have high hopes for the BMP-2M when i finally get it. BMP-2 and 1 have proven excellent machines so far, even if a bit squishy.
BMP-2M is absolutely amazing if played correctly.

Got the bmp 1 like a month ago. Loved it. My new fav tank. So good infact I accidentally researched the ZSU 57-2 and T-54 just by playing the bmp bc I thought it was fun
How do you accidentally research when that's how the game works.
Means probably that he wasn’t actively thinking about “grinding” (fav WT past time 😛) but just got it whilst earnestly playing the vehicle for fun. (which I have done myself with the M3 Bradley)
@@panzerl1ed968 I don't think anybody actively thinking about a 2-3 grind for a 120k RP vehicle at tier 5.
While we're on the subject of BMP's, can you fix the swimming characteristics of the BMP-2M so it doesn't dive like a submarine when moving forward at even the slowest of speeds and try to drown itself?

@@Orca19904 it's too heavy to actually make use of its amphibious features like how the bmp 2d can't swim with the added armor.
Object 685 isn't amphibious either aswell.
@@ii_dynasty I got my BMP-2M to float and I could drive it, but you are correct that it is to heavy.
BMPs are such beautiful machines
This tank is good for ambushes and flanking tactics
IFV are some of my favorites in this game.
I have the Type 89, M3 Bradley, M3A3 Bradley, BMP-1, BMP-2, and BMP-2M.
Also currently researching the Dardo and BMP-3.
I also can’t wait to get the BMD-4 from the event as well as see more introduced into the game.
Which nation of those you have had the best IFVs?
The BP 57 is pretty good too.
im 5 months late to seeing your comment but if i was to grind to get either the M3A3 or the Bmp-2 which is a better choice for a guy who dose not like to use missiles? and only cannons and auto cannons?
The bmp1 will forever be my most hated vehicle and nothing will ever change that.
For playing Wargame, my favorite use of the BMP-1 is to conduct massive assaults backing up armor and dismounting the infantry under the cover of smoke. The HEAT rounds from the 73mm can help punch tanks that are unfortunate enough to be close enough to them.
As for the BMP-2, the 30mm makes it really good for fighting in towns against other vehicles.
But the BMP-3 is really where the party is. Seeing platoons of BMP-3 firing their missile on the move behind T-72B's and taking out Abrams is just exhilarating.
I've used the East German BMP-1, it was so much of a beast that I ended up using it less and less often because I always felt so dirty for using it. I've also encountered the BMP-2, 2M and 3 on the enemy team, and based on how most of those encounters went, I'd say the BMP series doesn't exactly get weaker
Seeing Infantry in War Thunder outside of tanks just makes me want to see a gamemode where there are no points, just tanks and Infantry coming after 10 minutes.
They can be killed, however, the side with more Infantry personnel alive wins.
Of course, it would have some flaws, but it would be pretty cool.

Enlisted existe but, the thing is that people are infantry not IA. Would be cool if you had to suporte the IA
@@NEVERDON3 those are people, Would be cool if you had to suporte infantry which were IA. Maybe then Pz1 or Others BTR would be implemented in game
Would be nice if they had that PVE event with the anti-tank emplacements become a regular game mode, as it showed how infantry with AT weapons can make urban warfare a living nightmare for armor without infantry support.
Edit: another option would be to have IFV's like the BMP, Bradley, etc. be able to deploy AI anti-tank or anti-aircraft teams armed with shoulder-fired ATGM's or SAMs like the Javelin, Kornet, Stinger, or Igla. Could be implemented as a researchable module with a limited number of charges, like smoke grenades or crew replenishment.
I think in a tank game, infantry squads should have RPG’s and M72 LAWs, and Panzerfausts and Bazookas
The timed when we were playing project reality without armor support and a BMP-2 came out of the road and in the squad we all screamed "BMP-2, F*CK!".

When will amphibious 8 wheeled BTR series add in game?
Unlikely, as only the BTR-90 would be useful. The rest would only have HMGs

@@nyarlathotep4889 They have 20mm in some cases plus don't you think that we need many vehicles that are still yet to be added even if they only have MG or HMG since WT is vehicles encyclopedia or are you gonna allow stupid gaming balance to ruin this dream?
Plus HMG have AP rounds plus they can be AAA or useful at engaging light armored vehicles or open top ones or low tier ones

As a tanker who served over a year in the tank departments of the army, the BMP-3 was my favourite IFV, sound, mobility, firepower was better than any of the other IFVs I've driven.

@@kirov6213 Wrong, PT-76 was made to be literally unplayable.
@@kirov6213 in ground AB it's literally unplayable, no amount of HEAT is gonna help it. playing it was a mistake since you usually just got killed by .50 cal
@@kirov6213 It isn't very mobile from my experience and the gun is great in terms of penetration, but not in post penetration damage, at least when using HEAT-FS and the problem is the opposite with the APHE. The Puma is a better scouting vehicle than the PT-76 as it has a better top speed, better penetrating APHE with faster reload, and can go as fast backwards as forwards which is surprisingly useful. Overall, the PT-76 a peculiar vehicle with features that don't go together very well.
I love the bmp and bmd series of ifv's especially the bmp 2

I played a version of one of these in Mercenaries: playground of destruction. I loved it. It was so much fun.
a BMP's best armor is it's engine since it absorbs every shot given on it's front armor

Cause it has it all but the bmp 1 isn't stabilized which makes it less useful than the rest.

Drove 6hrs around the airmap Afghanistan in March with my friend!
BMPs are some of favorite vehicles in the game and I am working on getting the BMP 3. It is use kinda sad that the normal BMP 2 which is all around worse that stuff like the Bradley get such a high BR compare to its abilities.

BMP-2M have coaxial 20 mil with insane panetration and have 1200 mm of pen atgm well its have thermal at 8.7 i think its unbalance sometime
I dont have researched whole bmp line up so i never tought that i could have one but now with similar event vehicle i am so glad that am gonna have BMD 4

Cheap and reliable. Best thing about BMP-1 is the grom since it dips well enough to curve your shots over hills.

The BMP-2 is my favourite IFV in Warthunder at this moment.
Dont you think a BMP1 would make a great car for a teen driver?
Think about it.
Worried that your child will get in a car accident? Well, in the BMP, both your hands will be occupied, so there will be no texting and driving. additionally, its a very high profile vehicle, no one will miss you on the road. Getting T-boned, and rear ended is no issue. at 13.2 tonnes, the BMP1 is twice the weight of a 2022 chevy suburban. the only person in for a bad time is the other person. There is no need to worry about crumple zones, and how reinforced the cabin is, its a tank!
On to the next point. When i started out driving, my parents were really worried that i would drive into the large lake that we live near one day, and go missing, and no one will find me for years. That worry is absolutely negated by the fact that the BMP is amphibious! It is a boat! your child will not be drowning in your "brand spanking new" BMP1. But on top of that, they can take their friends out on the lake for the day and not have to worry about hauling any large trailers that they arent trained to handle. The BMP1 provides the great luxury of simply driving into the water. Grab your yeti cooler, some sunblock, and lets go!
Of course, all parents also dont trust their child with the freedom to go anywhere they want at any point of time. Your child can be sneaking out and going to parties late at night. Buy your child a prius, and you're only making it easier for them. But buy them a tank with a 15.8 liter diesel V6, and your little angel will have to drug you in your sleep to be able to sneak out with it!
But it's a ridiculous vehicle, no? They've always wanted a jeep wrangler, or a BMW, or, if you did a really bad job at parenting, they're going to be BEGGING you for a Mercedes to fit all their friends in. Why waste money on cars that can only fit 5 people (if you really tried) when the BMP1 can fit up to 10 people!! with some room to spare!
Your little rascal of a teen will have no issues impressing all their friends and dates with their new machine. So, why not buy them one?

the IFVs of this game have the firepower to take down any type of target but armor so thin that any target can kill it just as fast too

All those BMPs are cool but what about the BMPT-14? That would be great in the game and to balance it out with the SPz - Puma would be great too

The 73mm was horribly inaccurate in real life. Just due to the nature of it having what is basically a fancy RPG-7

Put in game Tank recovery veicles. For every allie brought into safety or repaired in batle field should give exp. Also engineering veicles, Would work if you add, bunkers or obstacles in regular matchs. As an extra objective
Recovery tanks would be usless, engineering only tanks would be even a worse addition, and totally modifying ground modes for adding bunkers would be not only hard, but also a bad addition, as tanks can't use bunkers, etc
@@Dan86130 Actually it wouldnt be so bad having engineering tanks, it would make more sense than having light tanks for that, at least I would play them it seems like a great opportunity to improve teamwork between players. Please develop your point you just say they would be a bad addition and I wanna know why.

Recovery tanks havr armament. Not big, but some morr some less.
And it would Make more sense, and you would get rewards for that. Also helping allies to reach a place in map. Like a fast route our an "hiden" cap point (D point)

i use the spz bmp-1 sometimes, i love to play it after i got the bmp1p modifcation before that its really hard to play.

Kind of off-topic, but is there any chance that the repair costs of a vehicle could be reduced if the player manages to get the crew out ? This would encourage players to try and eject after being shot down rather than firing off all of their ammo while spinning out of control.
