I had a game in it just a few days ago where I killed like 8 enemies before finally being killed by one of the guys I had killed who decided to spawn in a plane to kill me.
Once u ungrade the tracks and engine the zis-30 is fun.
It would be mad if you added a reload animation for open top spg's

Yeah. I was hoping to see the crew jump off the SU-5-1 and mechanistically carry out the reload procedure. I wonder if it's reload time factors in the time necessary for the crew to climb off the tractor to load the next round and climb back on before the vehicle moves again? How many times did the loader or ammo handler get left 300 m. behind before the driver got the message to halt?

I love how even though the is122S was built with an improved gun breech making it faster to reload than the is122, it’s missing one of its loaders so their reloads are basically the same, gj gaijin

I can tell you, not everything you shoot with the the SU-122 with one shot. The Obj. 268 on the other hand is absolutely wonderful
Sometimes the 122 deletes everything. Sometimes it deletes tracks.
Gaijin, it would be very nice if instead of getting new tanks and stuff, we possibly could get an update dedicated to fixing the games maps and just making the game overall a better experience?

Warthunder should add a minor allies and axis techtree so we can get the unique vehicles from other countries without having to buy it
Exactly what I told myself few days ago, it would be very cool as some countries developped interesting tanks (like the bob semple tank lol)

Doesn't spg usually refer to artillery vehicles? Like the type 75 SPH?
It's basically the same SPG is just more appropriate name since it's basically a AT- gun that is self propelled
All of them are SPG's. You can call some of them TD but it comes form how You use them, no how they are build.
@@Jakub_Marcinkowski no. SPG stands for Self Propelled Gun which refers to vehicles with just mounted guns on some hull, like Marder III (pak 40 on LT.38 hull). Yes, SPGs can be used as tank destroyers, but not every tank destroyer is SPG

I've been using SPGs wrong this whole time it seems. I knew they were at a disadvantage with no turret in close quarters, but I always thought they had super armour given their angles and big guns. I'll have to try staying back a bit and see how that works out!
Didn't you check its armour ? Isu and su 152 have almost flat armor (30º) and su 80 and variants have less inclination than the front chassis of the t34
ZiS-30 is i incredibly fun to zoom around the map and send everything you see back to the hangar
I’ve noticed that sometimes, when flying my plane through clouds in air simulator battles, my ping and PL increase. It kind of simulates turbulence! Is this an intentional game design, or does my WiFi just hate me from time to time?

@@jonathanakbari5872 if you fly through clouds in a fighter (idk about any other planes also in RB) you get some very slight rolling but it's not too noticeable and it doesn't do anything.

Mind you, the SU-57B has little effective armour to speak of. However, its gun and reload is well worth it.. the muzzle velocity is high, allowing for easy aiming, and packs quite the punch! It truly is experimental when looking at the following SPGs, seeing as they all go for a different route with higher mobility, more armour, a much bigger caliber gun and a loooooong reload.

I love my asu 57, I'll bring that thing into any br that doesn't have tanks with thermal, cause at that point there just gonna see you from across the map with no issues.

The ASU57 is by far my favorite SPG, it's small size makes it perfect to hide behind pretty much anything. I once hid behind a bush in an open field and no one expected a thing.

Nope. It’s Armour is too good for 5.3, unlike the tiger. Also, it’s gun is better.
They are already doing that
T-34-85 (D5T) to 5.0, T-34-85 (S53) to 5.3, T-44 to 5.7, M4A3 (76W) to 5.3.
I was always confused by these SPGs. They all look the same and sometimes I'd confuse one for another.
I wonder if and when Germany, Britain and Italy will ever get the Panvia Tornado

@@thedentist8232 There is grind and the WT grind tho. For a game with this much content, there is simply no need to gate it soo much. when you do worse than wargaming in grinding, you really have a problem
Vehicle grind isn't a problem as big as people likes to say. The real problem is the stock grind.

If the grind was too easy, we'd be seeing level 20's at top tier far more frequently than wallet warriors at 9.0. The game would be no fun.

ZIS-30 good for trolling with its 147mm pen at 2.3, but the SU-122 deserves some attention too. it’s got 45mm sloped armor and is basically a turret less T-34, but a whole tier early. slight angle and about 250 meter distance from ur enemy and you’re near invincible.
poly did a video with it to show how trolley and reliable the armour is (but the B1 bis is far more OP still). only bad thing is the shell has massive gravity drop and long reload, but it’s one hit kill.
I think we can agree that when Bruce dies he will be remembered as a wise wholesome man with a legendary voice

I think we can all agree that Bruce sounds like a fun-loving, badass grandpa that enjoys shooting big guns and blowing up stuff.
My favorites so far; YaG-10 (29-K), SU-100P, ISU-122 & 122S. Next time i will play with Object 268.

The su152 is probably the most fun I’ve had in the game. Being able to delete almost any vehicle in one shot every 15 seconds while being fast and having some armor was hilarious. I graduated to the object 120 and it’s absolutely insane.
My favorite low tier TD is the SU85A. It's a 4.0 BR Soviet tank with an 85mm gun. Non-existent armor, but smashes everything at its tier, and isn't as obnoxiously big like the flak 8.8 carrier. It doesn't have to fight against Tiger tanks like the 4.3 regular SU-85 as well.
My favorite spg is the Foch big gun good frontal armor and decent mobility.
Since you've paid attention to this category, I would kindly remind you guys that most of these vehicles you covered is under performing at their own BRs. Soviet TD line is suffering and some BR modification would be nice.

My favorite is the SU-85M. With proper angling, you bounce American 76mm pretty easy. Everything else blows you up tho

My favorite tank destroyers are the super heavies, the British tortoise and the american T95.
Next time you all do a challange, I'd like to see some dive bombers 'play catch' with moving open top vehicles. Set the bomb fuse to 10 seconds and land it inside the crew compartment, so they have time to look at it before it blows.

Nearly a year ago, you guys have published a video called T-34 Family. In that video there was no SPGs that based on a T-34 chassis. So people got mad. They demanded their SU's and now, i believe this video tho should make them happy now

Well I prefer the ASU 57, it has a very low profile making it invisible next to bushes or trees, and a very good 57mm canon that can penetrate a lot of armour and do great damage to opponents

Can you add blood in the cockpit when your pilot gets hit. It would make it more realistic and it would look cool while your in cockpit view.
It's not likely. That kind of stuff would bump up the game's rating and narrow the audience. This is the same reason we'll likely never see any kind of meaningful injury to exposed crew on ground vehicles who, instead, just nod gently off to sleep when they take a 150mm cannon shell to the face.

Every time I play a tank game with these tank destroyers there are 152mm shells flying everywhere
The ZIS 30 is even viable in 5.7 due to the unorthodox silhouette of the tractor and the rounds of the gun
For some people who is arguing about terms (SPGvsTD), let's get this straight:
SPG or Self-propelled gun is a gun which independently on a tank chassis.
This *term* is a *general definition* for all SPG vehicles (TD, SPA, ....)
TD or Tank destroyer is a AFV who designed only for anti-tank warfare. (Like the SU-152)
SPA or Self-propelled Artillery is a artillery gun which operate independently on a tank chassis (Play *World of Tanks* if you want to know more, but *the price is your mental health*)

So when I looked at the armoured train in BF1, I realised that the turret in the front gun has the same gun of the SU-5-1
Asu-57 is the most fun SPG in the game.
su-152 is my fave, knocking out a tiger 1 with it is as satisfying as it gets

SU-122 is literally a juggernaut at 2.3, it cannot be penned unless they shoot you in the back..

A lot of players like to dump on the SU-57B, but it's arguably my favorite of the Russian TD's. It won't take any punishment but its gun is absolutely brutal, has a very nice reload rate (especially considering the damage it puts out), and while it doesn't have the most amazing gun depression and traverse, it does feel better in rough terrain than most of the other vehicles in the tree.
