Onana is useless
Learning about the advantages of heat pumps was the best bit.
Andy could read the bus timetable and I would listen
I have a heat pump at home. Its great.
It's the board. They've clearly said "it's now or never" to him when they sacked Erik. He's said 'this is what I do, I play this way'. They've said.. 'Yeah, that's what we want'. So, now we're left with a squad not suited to his system and we're just going to keep pushing on when it's clearly not working. Again we suffer because of the continued legacy of poor planning and an incoherent recruitment strategy. Amorim shouldn't have to do these press conferences.. the CEO and director of football should do them instead. Look at the 11 we finished with today.. It perfectly reflects where we are in this league. Impotent, disfunctional, inconsistent and technically poor. People keep saying "Man Utd should be winning these games.." Why? We're getting beaten by better teams who are higher in the table than us. History doesn't mean shit if you can't understand where and what you currently are. Until people forget about the badge on the shirt and see the reality and understand how to change it, it will just continue as this mess of underperforming mediocrity.
This is essentially Manchester United circa 1980’s. Minus the handful of decent players we had then.
Totally agree. Sick of knee jerk reactions (sell Onana) and stating the bleeding obvious (the squad aren’t good enough). We can sell hardly anyone due to daft contracts, and scope to bring in is so limited. We need to keep it real and appreciate change will come slowly but it will come. Football is cyclical - look at Forest. Stop behaving like spoilt brats and get behind the manager.
Amorim has made many mistakes and lost too many games in his few weeks at United
Saying his United team is the worst in history is bloody stupid.
His players must be pissed of with him after that remark. It certainly does not help.
"A good workman never blames his tools"
that means that a skilled person like Amorim must take responsibility for his work and he must not blame his players when things go wrong.
Time to go back to basics Amorim. It's control pass and move, track back, get open, make runs, win 50/50 balls, press for 90 minutes and handle corners and free kicks better, at both ends. Basics that teams with tiny budgets like Brighton, Forrest and Bournemouth all do regularly, without any expensive players or high paid managers.
Amorim MUST change his ways now. His approach has failed.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Spot on
The amount of plastic idiots in these comments saying Amorim ain't it is ridiculous. The bloke is trying to get a tune out of players who aren't it. None of them are his signings.
The players didn't work for the previous managers. It's them. Not the boss ffs
I know mate, Amorin wasn't even here when Brighton beat us the last five times.
100% lad
He's trying to get a tune out of players that can't do what he wants. At what point do you accept they can't do it and try something else? Because doing the same thing with the same players and expecting something different is insanity.
If it is the players then the answer is get new players right? No. We can't afford new players. You think Ineos are going to sign a whole new team in the summer? Not happening. We are skint.
So if the current players aren't up to it and we can't buy new ones the only option is to use a system that these players can win games in. Amorim refuses to do that. He won't change. So we are stuck with the crap players we have and a manager with one way of playing. There is only one way that ends......
When Amorim came in we were 4 points off top 4. Now where are we? In a relegation fight. There is only one way that ends..
If he wants to be the manager next season then great but that could be in the championship given our current league form.
He has no plan B and INEOS' track records with all their sporting assets is atrocious.
Top top managers are flexible and pragmatic to get the best out of the players they have.
I like Amorim. His honesty is refreshing but you don't win games being a honest manager. You win games by using a system that gets the best out of the players you have. Now he has thrown the whole team under the bus by publicly saying they are worst united team in history.. That's the words of a man running out of time.
Its a shame for him. But he's been handed an awful hand. Should have left RVN in charge until the summer then appointed Amorim with time to drill his system. But then INEOS aren't the brightest people as their track record at United and all their other sports assets shows.
The guy is being an idealistic and stubborn fool who is insisting on players making his imagined ideal a reality when in the real world they are not capable of doing so. Does that make me plastic too? BTW. I was born in NZ but grew up in England supporting MUFC since 1979. I've seen a thing or two in my time. Amorim better wise up soon and learn what being pragmatic is all about, or just go.
Ten Hag out
We have a ten point cushion, which should be enough regarding possible relegation. However, it’s just so bad. We just need to ensure survival, get to the end of the season then help the manager rip it all up and start over. Massive change is needed. There are only a couple of players I really want to keep.
27 th of April 1974 is still seared into my grey matter . Yes it can happen again . The premiership fixtures are all difficult , but just giving , yes giving goals away is football suicide . The second and third goals we conceded were ' HOWLERS ' . Behind the scenes things must be a total mess , as on the field things are a disaster . RIP Denis .
@daviddunne4737 agreed. If getting relegated ensured we got rid of the Glazers, I'd take it in a heartbeat.
The 75 & 76, 77 & 78 season are seared into my grey matter. From the ashes the Phoenix rises!
@@BelleBlu Pearson, Hill, Greenhoff , Daly, Buchan, Holton, Coppel, Nicholl, Forsyth, Bailey, McIlroy. From memory. My Lord all good men, all committed all proper professionals. I don't know what to make of the latest bunch. I'm lost. But better days ahead. Regards.
Hill and Coppell as wing backs with Sammy Mcllroy pulling the strings … yes please
The players are adults taking huge wages to play professionally to high standards. They’re not children in need of soothing words. This debacle is the result of a toxic ownership model and years of criminal mismanagement. Until this changes this cancer will metastasize.
I'm struggling to name another keeper who has made this many mistakes in such a short time, yet is still classed as number 1. And I'm talking in any top European league during the last 30 years. It must be one howler every 6 games.
He’s marginally better than Massimo Taibi.
The inexplicable thing for me is that he was signed by ETH in the first place because ETH was the coach at Ajax where Onana was diabolically bad after he returned from his 9 months drug ban. He also showed himself to be of poor character by stringing Ajax along when Ajax tried to extend his contract, which started to run out during his drug ban when Ajax still paid him in full when they didn't have to. He at least owed them another year to compensate for that drug ban. Why would you insist on signing someone when you had first hand experience of bad he can be and also of his questionable character? I never wanted him, but was howled down when I expressed that view.
@@larrysellers7891 are you on drugs?
Onana must be dropped and then sold asap. The mistakes are as frequent as buses to the Arndale.
Barthez at United, DDGs first season just to name a few just at United.
They need to get worse before they get better. We need to lower expectations. It’s going to take years to undo the incompetence of the last regime. We took a manager who wanted to wait till the summer and dropped him in the middle of a congested winter fixture schedule. He does not have the personnel to utilise his philosophy. They need to get wing backs in asap. We need a striker, literally any striker who can play with their back to goal, shoot and head a ball. But honestly this isn’t going to get better anytime soon. The manager has said as much. Strap in and let’s hope we survive the season.
Can we lower expectations lower than being guaranteed point givers to Brighton & Hove Albion?
I don’t agree on everything if you play different football with ANITHER system you get the chances… and strikers NEED TO be ruthless in front of goals they NEED TO Work on it everyday at least 45 minutes -1h on finishing( Hojlund-Zirkzee-Amad-Garnacho-Rashford-Antony if they stay and Even Bruno. WB like Dalot Mazraoui Malacia need to Work their fitness and be able to cross and so on … and We see very few of that… Dalot need to Work on shoot too because he is often going in counter but not giving assists or finishing like against West-Ham Liverpool and other games big chances Not scoring…
Ruben has to be backed to the end. None of this group are his players. Give him a couple of transfer windows and our fortunes will change
I don't understand this thinking, he hasn't been good since he arrived
@@BrettRiverBoat1 Quit spamming the same nonsense on every channel 😂
I really don't think so anymore. He refuses to change and says they just need to win matches. How? By doing the same thing over and over again? That's insanity.
Seriously deluded, he's out of his depth
Got to back the manager he'll get it right 👍
Brighton might not be the best team but they're the smartest team around in terms of sheer football IQ, and i think it's one of the reasons they do so well against us every time.
Brighton always do good against any of the top 6, they may lose but them top 6 always had to give their 100% to get all 3 points ain't no way they getting an easy win😅😅
When Dunk, Welbeck and Mitoma are healthy, the team is perfect. but Welbeck often got injured.
Note to INEOS: Man Up !!!
Managing means adapting and getting best from what you have he will die on this sword
Remember Fergie didn’t win a thing for four years, remember the “Fergie Out” chants. Amorim has to be backed in the transfer market by INEOS. If he’s left with this squad, he will fail, simple.
"Leopards don't change their spots" RK, and anyone who has eyes.
It's disappointing to see Andy turning on Ruben here. RA has left a title charge mid-season in Portugal after turning the club around over the last few seasons. To label RA a media darling is very poor from Andy.
ETH track record of signing players is shocking Antony, Mason Mount, Onana have been shocking. ETH had no style of play, no set routines for set pieces, and no balls to call out under performing players.
When this current team assembled by ETH fold, there is very little RA can do, other than put his boots on and play himself. The majority of these players are not fit to wear the shirt. There is no evidence of internal motivation or self pride to put a shift in.
I can see Andy jumping on the bandwagon to git rid of Ruben shortly, and we'll start the whole insane project with the same underperforming players.
Blimey I know things are bad but when the heat pump sales pitch is the happiest part it says a lot.
Utd will finish in the bottom half of the table, but they won't go down.
Our youth teams are not playing 343 ..says alot are we serious or what
A point I have making for weeks now. If the system is the way forward is 343 then why is it not applied throughout all the teams?
Maybe someone not convinced that it can work so now any progress from within can't be a smooth transition.
I’m glad Amorim is holding firm. The players that do end up sticking around will be better for it and it’ll actually hasten our ascent to playing his way
Why ? I don't understand this thinking What do you think it will accomplish
He's pushing shite uphill I think. It would be like stubbornly demanding a bunch of lads build your dream house before somebody's trained them and given them a hammer and nails, but then when you see they are making a mess of it you say you are not going to stop demanding. He's being a fool and if he does not wise up soon I think he will go. Yet another manager to be paying off for years to come. Thanks Glazers.
Can you imagine pulling on the red shirt, walking out onto the turf at Old Trafford, hearing the fans cheer you, only for you to capitulate and show you’re not fit to wear the shirt ! That’s the team that has been assembled over the last 10 years, disgraceful
100 % well said
Down 1 -0 in the first 10 min. HAPPENS every match.
What can a supporter do ? I'm in but will get through these terrible times. THANKS Andy
The fact that city are having their worst season in almost a generation and yet they’re still miles ahead of utd must be galling for the top brass
Its not confidence--it is simply because that most of our players are not at the standard required to compete in the league. Surely there must be kids in the academy who can do better than the first team players are--we tried it once before?!!!
40 points is the goal
Yes, that’s what the season has become, unbelievable really.
This manager has a higher ceiling than EtH. He assembled a team in a lesser league that beat City 4-1. Honestly, I’m sick of the sacking cycle. I would sell every player - including recently underwhelming Kobbie and Ugarte - before getting rid of him.
Why do you think that ?
City were losing to everyone then.
ETH thrashed Amorim Sporting
I was on the Stretford end when we were relegated and this side compared to the side that went down are miles apart .The side that went down were not a talented team but what they had was heart, fight and ran for 90 minutes, everything this bunch of over paid so called top players haven't got . Buckle yourself in fellow reds and get ready for an exciting relegation battle.
Thanks Andy. Not rating players understood.
Done with the owners and the players. They are an embarrassment to this Club.
and you are the exact type of fan that my beloved club could do with out! You are the embarrassment of this club!
Robbing a living a lot of them are very poor side we have as someone said the table doesn't lie 🤥 simple as that lot of them need shifting out the door 🚪
They don't care though they really don't
Love the content Andy, extremely knowledgeable. Love talk of the devils too! Pity were not going well but United can fix up!
Great piece, Andy, honest as usual. Perfect observations without slagging off individuals. It's going to be a long process, but we,ll struggle together. Great articles in UWS by the way.
Cheers Andy, good times have got to come eventually
Good on you for saying back the team. I've been saying for over a year now that their confidence is shot, and relentless negative noise from a certain section of the fan base has been really damaging. IMO.
I think you're wrong to say the players aren't good enough.
It's time for the fans to take United We Stand literally!
I'm really only here for the ImproveEasy Ad mate … can't let the sponsors down no matter how bad things get 🤨
Cheers Andy, this lark can't be easy.
Good to have you along as always Squeak
The board thought/hoped that Ruben Amorim would be a quick fix given his success in Portugal ...
I was there last night with my 10 year old gransdson Ralph, I asked him what he thought the score was going to be, and he said we would get beat 3-2, I said we would win 4-3. But what we watched from United was really bad.... But im not going to get into that, because veryone kowns now how crap we played... But as Forest Gump once said, life is like a box of Onana, you never know what your gonna to get.
We need one of the 10s to drop into midfield and help the 2.
Ugarte and Kobbie getting slaughtered, at home, every game. We had the same problem with ETH.
If you cant win...then be hard to beat.
We capitulate due to unforrced errors
Ruben might get himself sacked. If the replacement is losing more games than his predecessor...its troubling
That's what should be happening, and when we're attacking one of the central defenders should be moving up into midfield. I just think they're stupid bastards?
Absolutely. ETH was also stubborn with his midfield setup, which was getting outplayed every single week. The midfield needs resilience in the premier league, otherwise you'll get cut through every time.
I'm not sure if managers from weaker leagues quite understand how many bodies you need in the middle to compete in the PL.
We are so despite for a left back, Any Left Back!! Someone who will stay fit and be able to play this system. Anthony is left footed, make him go down the left and cross the fucking ball! 🇪🇺🇮🇪
Antony is going out on loan to Real Betis.
Thanks Andy
Cannot believe INEOS are not backing their manager in the transfer market.
I am not sure they can. It appears the books are not in good shape. Splashing a bunch of cash might mean getting in the poop for breaking the profit and sustainability rules etc. I am not sure MUFC would get away with it like a certain other club appears to be. We're too hated to be given a pass.
@@aquilarossa5191correct. The amount of people I see commenting furiously who don’t know this basic fact. Unreal.
I don't know what the answer to United's problem is but I said at the time that I felt an Ineos part buy wasn't going to be the answer. The fact that they can't back Amorim without selling players proves this. The mismanagement of United by the Glazers has left the club in a financial mire. Having supported the club since 1973, this is one of the worst I've seen. I'm just glad I am no longer a season ticket holder. I feel for these fans the most.
The percentage of shares owned by INEOS does not determine what we can spend on players. The Saudis at Newcastle own 100% and have bottomless pockets and they had to sell players in the summer. The FSR rules and our previous disastrous recruitment are the problem. Nothing to do with who owns the shares.
@ You're correct. Unfortunately INEOS have started poorly by overpaying for players that the better performing clubs had no interest in and in the case of Yoro, Ugarte and Zirkzee they severely overpaid. They also brought in Ashworth as a best in class appointment, only to sack him a few months later. They extended the ETH contract when they were looking around for someone to replace him. They also sold some players too cheaply. The result of their first involvement in the football department is an expensive mess that has us currently in the red against PSR because they have added to the mess that was already there. I had hoped they would make far more judicious signings without overpaying for them, but that hasn't been the case.
The players are a disgrace
Yeah all of them what's happened to mainoo? It's like he's a completely different player.
Making my first trip to Old Trafford from Canada in May. Can't help but think I've chosen the worst time to come but I suppose there's no better time than now.
Hi Andy, from someone who lives in Bucharest and who will attend the match against FCSB, you don’t have to worry about the match so far, United will win it easily, the difference in quality is too big and FCSB will miss their best player Darius Olaru. Hopefully the players will do a great match and regain their confidence 👍🏻I would love to take a photo with you if you will be traveling to Bucharest.
This is the culmination of 20 years of parasitic ownership compounded by them bringing in an old school cost cutting industrialist whose record in football is bringing turmoil to Nice and relegating Lassanne Sport twice.
I’ve said it before, INEOS are the biggest existential threat United have faced since the Munich air disaster. We’re on the precipice of being buried so deeply we may never recover.
Agree. Ineos haven't improved any of their sporting assets. Cycling team has been outclassed and out thought for years. 2 football teams have achieved nothing. Sailing team lost again. They have an atrocious track record in sports.
@ Ratcliffe’s vanity projects. He should have stayed in petrochemicals.
The most home defeats by January (6) since 1893/94 season (7).Let that sink in.
No proper left back,no productive left winger, strikers who don't score. A goalkeeper who doesn't come off his line. Lucky if we win one of the next four.
Ruben spoke facts. Worst team in our premier league era that’s surely what he meant Andy. This is purely on the players and recruitment during ETH.
Not just ETH, plenty of garbage brought in before him. He's clearly not helped though 😂
@ spot on pal. I meant recruitment as a whole really and contracts. I’ve not come across or heard any fan Amorim out so worrying to hear Andy’s comments if he loses few more. On the players. Amorim wanted to come in summer.
Rubin speaks facts about everyone but himself
Never air your dirty laundry in public
Really honest Andy, it’s a tough watch. We’re enduring this at the moment. The sort of sweeping changes to the squad don’t happen in one window and I’m worried they’re missing a trick and getting going this one. It’s toxic and we need big change.
The fanbase needs to back this manager please because ineos clearly are isn’t 👍
Playing bayindir that needs to happen
The penalty saves papered over how poor he is. Both the keepers are below average.
He is no better than Onana
They need to get amorim some players he can work with, especially a lwb and a striker who can score a goal
@@francisagnew8300 I think that this might have been said before?
We have to push through this pain barrier to get to the other side of this. With every other manager, we’ve been scared to see it through and we’ve sacked them instead. It hasnt worked. I dont like all this speculation about Amorims position; it feeds itself and can manifest the outcome because of the sheer amount of speculation. He;’s the right man for the job; let him work.
Very scared, I cannot see many of the players improving.Love United so much, but most of our players are not as good as most players in all of the other Premier teams. I'm not being alarmist, just being realistic. I will single a player out, on his ability alone , not as a person, that is Onanu, he is not up to premier league standard, and must be replaced. Fingers crossed we improve 😊
Apart from Amad, they are all a disgrace.
Slightly alarmed that the prospect of Amorim walking was raised not once, but twice.
Oh dear, the smile is off Mitten's demeanor. Been a long time now since Man Ure secured a 2-2 draw at Anfield. Back to normal then.
To be honest, I doubt we'd have seen any different if Ten Hag had remained or they'd given it to Ruud until the end of the season. Issue has always been the players desire and attitude. Moyes/Woodward were the catalysts for this downturn & nothing has happened since. Just lurching from one flavour of the month to the next in terms of managerial appointments (I'm not saying Amorim is bad).
Debt has crippled this club, and a full sale should have been the ONLY option if the (now) majority owners had a clue/cared.
2 weeks to go before the January window closes.. Nothing done, no ins & no outs. The club are in debt, thanks to the Glazers. Now we have to sell to buy. What a mess we’re in.
We would have to sell to buy regardless of the debt it's PSR that's our problem.
Hang in there Andy
Thanks for the video,it must be quite an effort after a game like today.Agreed with your overview completely...sadly!
Top 6 and a trophy? No chance. We'll finish 12th.
Hating the atmosphere at Old Trafford at the moment. you can feel the anxiety even just sitting there watching.
Amorim is facing a Mission Impossible given the current squad who clearly aren't capable of playing his system consistently. Our weakness against the so called lesser teams (Brighton etc.) is worrying. This is going to take a VERY long time to fix.
So why?
Mis- management by the Glazers throughout the entirety of their ownership has left us having to sell our acadamy players to turn a profit in order to compete in the transfer market. The manager doesn't have the players he needs to make the system work. We have NO left footed players who play on the left!!! Bruno has been deployed out their in the last few games to cover, leaving him almost anonymous in games, starving us of his creativity. So when Dalot, Garna, Rashy, Bruno get to the bye-line or into a wide postion the pass, cross. throughball, cut back, drilled ball across is played on someones weaker foot. Very difficult to get any consistancy or quality. The SAME applies on the right. Amad and Antony. The only real quality that exsists is when Garna, Bruno or Dalot are out there. Shaw and Malacia are non-existant! Our wing backs aren't great. Dalot struggles on the left filling in, Maz is a great defender but not a wing-back, Amad and Antony have both filled in at times. Our midfield has disappeared? Bruno doesn't play there anymore. Cass and Eriksen are surplus to requirments, which is why you are seeing Collyer who gives his best but imo isn't quite there. Mount has been non-exsistant. Ugarte has been good for us but can't do it all on his own. Kobbie has struggled this season (whether it's injury or form) and imo is playing far too deep. As a result his creativity has be strangled out of him. We play nothing through the middle of the park (just like under ETH). Everything is out wide. In the forward areas - poor Rasmus - our strikers come off the pitch with ZERO shots. (let alone on target or even scoring) WE just don't create for our forwards. (because of what i have said above) And when our wide men get the ball, in the main they are greedy and look to dribble past players and shoot.
BUT they have shown thet against Citeh, The Dippers and the Arse that when we don't have to create to much or break a team down as much we can get results through hardwork and will power and quality.
SJR and his team MUST get the manager left footed players WHO PLAY ON THE LEFT, and midfielders to help create and to get us to play though the middle of the park with us facing the oppositions goal and not with our backs to their goal. This in turn will stop allowing our 3 centre backs to dictate our play.
Am i worried? Absolutely not! But the players will struggle at home because we have some of the worst home fans in the league. Booing, moaning, no atmosphere, leaving early, happens on the regular beacuse they are the cancerous, day tripping, glory hunting, plastic plebs that inhabit OT, making it a very tough place for our players to play. Your thumbnail is very apt. #LUHG
Think the city win masked a
multitude of sins as but for an absolute calamity by their player it probably would have ended 1-0 against a side who were in terrible form at the time. Best to learn lessons early though so maybe that’s the saving grace in all this.
Glazers should have sold to Qatar. Morally we all wanted Ineos but life isn’t always fair. Jim Ratcliffe hasn’t got the inclination to treat it anything other than a business and we are failing. It’s bleak. He shouldnt haven’t stuck his nose in and given them an out. Ineos have made it worse on the pitch.
@@rosseardley4863 It was always going to get worse anyway. This is what happens with chronic neglect
@@derekibison6644of the debt repayments were cleared and the amortised debt owed on players was cleared we’d have a free run to transform the squad. The stadium would have done without effecting transfers. Under Ineos we’re just don’t have the money to do what needs to be done to tune it around quickly.
@@rosseardley4863This shows how little the fans know of the debt or how PSR works. You can't just write off the debt; it's from a 3rd party. Also, the bonds don't mature until 2027. If you tried to clear the debt, it would be an instant PSR breach. The cost of servicing the debt is around 30 million a year. Interest payments for corporations are tax deductible; that and the usually skullduggery accounting that major companies do means the actual cost to the club's balance sheet is much less than that. Same with the stadium; you can't just pluck the money out of thin air. The problem is PSR, not the debt. Basically we would be in the same boat regardless of ownership.
Yes youre right. I wanted Qatar as I wanted to be debt free. Instead we get redundancies and more debt, poor investment and a calamitous regime at board level, while the Glazers still treat us like an ATM. Add to that, morale is at an all time low. Well done 🐁 Jim. Stick to oil
Mr heat pump was 10/10
We have tried changing managers, coaches and players over the last decade the only consistent thing is the awful ownership of the club this is what needs to changed
We got to stick with it now and hopefully we can come through the other side I think Rubin’s up for it and I don’t want more change and unrest and start again it don’t work this was always going to happen it’s the same players I just won’t him to keep who he won’t bin the rest and get his own players in and it will take time Nice one Andy 🙂🇾🇪🔰✌️
Things are going from bad to worse don’t know how he turns this around long term without replacing 15 players which is just not feasible
It's bad when you look at each team left to play in the league and they all look winnable for the opposition. 20 years ago, there may have been banker games where 3pts was just for turning up but all clubs are tough to play now. Quality is much better and we're getting found out, every week
Would take top 10 right now, it's that bad
Its the players and their mentality
You know things are bad when he doesn't even rate the players in the player rating video
TOP SIX????? You’re having a laugh mate!!!!?
Bottom 6
I was at the game yesterday , and the only plus was the tribute to Dennis law .so back in a relegation battle, but to come out and make a statement like that which should have been kept in house. Sir alex would never have done that .I remember our relegation and that team was a lot worse than this current one .
Never mind. Swings and roundabouts.
Question for Andy. How do the Glazers and Ineos fix the situation of the team? There are alot of players that cannot be here next season. Surely the manager needs new players to succeed?
We have some difficult days ahead.
Andy, year after year after year we say “an overhaul needs to happen, it’s going to take time, it’s going to get worse before it gets better”
Well this is ‘that’. As soon as this begins we hit the panic button every time. For once we have to just accept that this is what really tearing it down & rebuilding actually is. No short term fixes anymore. Let’s see this out. I have total faith in Amorim, if finishing 17th this season meant that we finally see the steps towards progress next season I’d gladly take it.
Any chance of getting some loans to help get us scoring and controlling the game more..... especially since we have shipped off rashford, etc
Hes the right man but its the wrong time ?
I've been a fan for over 50years. The players get huge pay for such disgusting performance
I really feel for Amorim. The players aren't really good enough and they must know it by now. I hope Amorim hangs in there until the end of the season. Stubborn players/agents refusing to leave for less money is destroying Utd's season but it's not entirely their fault. The only hope is that some of the overpaid players jump ship.
Stop saying the players arent good enough. Its not helping. The players are individually more talented than most premier league teams. Utd are not going to get better players than this. Onana was a brilliant champions league finalist, Antony was a CL standard winger, Yoro is one of the best prospects in europe. The squad needs a left wing back, a midfielder and a forward to allow rotation, give balance and improve creativity. The rest if the squad are more than capable of getting Utd in the top 4 with more coaching.
Can we play the U21's ? Worse that could happen?
36 points should be enough. Reckon we'll get that. We'll finish with 42 points.
Players at Man United are way overpaid for the talent that they offer
INEOS OUT!!! It's time that people start calling out this absolute disaster of an ownership instead of turning a blind eye to it and thinking everything will be alright.
Normally Andy supports the players over the manager
Meanwhile the club have cancelled the season ticket of an old chap with dementia after 45 years of attendance because his ticket wouldn’t scan and he didn’t know how to sort it.
They sold his seat for Brighton.
What have we become.
The Glazers getting the focus off themselves whilst they wait for the super league and or a change in the TV rights is genius to be fair.
At this point we’ll scrape into a super league as a ‘legacy’ club.
If you thought the fans were angry back then, wait til next time they try that little stunt
Andy I’m on holiday in Goa and I woke up angry this morning about the game wtf
We haven’t even hit the bottom of the barrel yet. It’s going to get worse
Quite shocked Andy is casting doubt on Amorim as he needs backing with a shite hand he was given by the INEOS brain wizards. But wouldn't blame him if he walked away as I doubt INEOS will bend to his will on transfers as their structure isn't great typified by the Ashworth situation
Ashworth didn't work out; isn't cutting it out ASAP better than letting the rot set in?
@@Key-j5o that's true whilst also saying it's a poor reflection on the ownership (lack of due diligence and research on him) for doing everything to bring him in before binning him.
All the pundits say that we should have got Amorim in the summer. The reason given is that he plays a certain way but does not have the players to perform that function. However, he should play the style suited to his players and at the end of the 😮season, get rid of what he can and buy what he wants. A foolish manager does the same mistake each match and expects a different result . The biggest mistake was getting rid of de Gea and buying who they did. Onana is not good with his feet and I am tired of our players making ten passes and being still in their penalty area.. finally have you noticed how often we lose the ball directly from a throw in.. if you haven’t watch the next game .
The penchant for playing young, inexperienced players is the reason why Manutd cannot be competitive in the EPL. Even though they have Eriksen, Casemiro, Rashford and Bayindir.
I'm in my 50's now and I don't think I've seen a side as bad as this. The early Ferguson years were dire if we're honest, but this looks bleak.
We need to give Amorim some time. Managers can't perform miracles. That's especially true with the group of players we have. We couldn't give away players, for free, to Liverpool or City. They're not good enough to get a game for them. We have a few that will hopefully develop but there are a lot who won't. Fernandes as an example, is supposed to be our best player. When I watch him what I see is a guy who doesn't tackle, passes the ball to the opposition more than his own teammates, who whines at the ref and who points at and blames his teammates for his mistakes. He needs to go along with a host of others. It's going to be a few years of serious effort to get back to the top. I remain cautiously optimistic.
The keeper needs the go the guys a liability
That's a fact Damien he looks like me he is actually throwing matches or am a dreaming some of his blunders and mistakes are horrific for that supposed level is he gambling on the other teams Jesus he is awful 😮
I want to know who’s in the front office handing out these huge contracts to unproven players, they need to be fired. Brighton players are paid 1/3rd the average salary of United and are levels above.
Should still do the ratings even when things are bad.
I don't think he likes giving very low scores.
Always admired your integrity Andy, but are Brighton really a good side with one win in ten before today?
Or did we make them look good because we're not able to care enough in the 'lesser' games?
It can only be psychological which in a way is good news, because it's repairable.
A hard watch in that second half though.
I feel sorry for the manager, but it's a test of character that if he comes through, much like Alex Ferguson in 1989, it can only be a strengthener.
Touch wood we can get a few out to get a few in, because as it stands, twelfth and a trophy is a good season from where we are now.
One day, we'll be a good side again.
