I ordered one after watching Ryan Blankenships video, and am very happy with it. It beats the hell out of my two 12” P3D2’s at 2 ohms and it barely gets warm. Also ordered the APMI4080 after Ryan’s new video to push my mids and highs. First one had a defective crossover switch so I’m waiting for the new one to come in. Very respectable power from such small amps.
Question and forgive my ignorance when it comes to audiopipe, but in a serious SQ guy, so for me low noise floor is extremely important, which is why I have run amps like zapco and Hertz back in the day. Today I'm hearing from local SPL guys that audiopipe amps for sub duty are hard to beat for the money. So what I wanted to know is what series is the top of the line aka their reference line. What I want to find is the amp that is comparable to say a old school Kenwood kac-1023 in performance, not wattage, but you know high current, high dampening factor, I want really good control of the woofer.
It's gonna be tough for any current audio company to compete with the efficiency and damping factor of the old school amplifiers of the day. I would look into the APCLE line and the APHD line. Both lines have some pretty good class A/B amplifiers.
@@Basscop so basically I should look into going with a old school Kenwood or any of those with sigma drive or amps with a triple Darlington setup. Gotcha thanks.

how do they compare to the apcl 2000 i loved mine but she melted the rail running her at .5 ohm for hours and i cant find the any more is this kind of the same amp?
The APCL line was replaced by the APCLE line. They've never had a 2k in that line. They only 2ks they have is the APDLI line, and the APMI line that is featured in this video
ok i might of had a 1500 idk i dont really like the apcle for some reason it just puts off bad vibes 4 me i guess i will just go with this one. do you live near North Carolina and if so are you going to ruckus and chill this year
Hi Otis, reason I was asking if you had the sub already is the ohm load. A single D4 sub, the lowest you'd be able to do is 2 ohm and you wouldn't get the full possible potential of the amp. With a D2 sub youd be able to go to 1 ohm and get more out of the amp.
Personally I dont use bass boost, never have. It's your system and if you like what it's doing then go for it! But me personally I would set them at 0 and retune them all. I never recommend using bass boost.
@@tony187soundproof5 I don't use bass boost, loudness, or bass and treble controls in my car. I like keeping my frequency response as flat as possible but then again I work in the music retail industry so I'm always doing some sort of critical listening. Not only that, but my opinion is that if a song has bass in it, it's gonna come out when you crank the volume.

Alot depends on where and how they are mounted as well. Alot of people that I see having heat issues end up being ground issues or have them mounted were the air flow isn't great.
... the audiopipe aqx1800d is a really good amp, especially if you put together the right system with it. The quality is awesome on that amp. First please understand that I'm no amateur in this car audio field, so when I used that 1800 aqx model amp, I had everything from a extra battery, two audiopipe bd2 15 inch subs in custom enclosure, plus equalizer, line driver etc. I had it ran @ 1 ohm, and it slammed and had very good quality. It had a better quality than the regular ap series amps, and it also sounded better than alot of amps that I had in the past. The power is clean. It made me want the bigger version (the aqx 2500.1 or 3500.1). Now check this out, when I sold it, I sold it to a guy with two Rockford fosgate p2 subs. He had them in a Cadillac eldorado. When we put that amp in his car, it didn't sound nothing like it did in my mini van with the 15s. And while it was in his car, Everytime he would crank it up, and on the heavy bass notes, the amp would go into protection. I told him either it's starving for power, or the subs is peaking out and it's making the amp protect. I explained this situation in detail in this comment, just to let everyone know that sometimes when you hear something, and if it don't sound like you expected to. Please don't always judge the equipment. You'll be surprised that once you take that same equipment, and put it in a whole different setting, that it might amaze you beyond belief. No lie. Because my mini van was really truly banging with that amp. And it didn't sound impressive at all in his system. But he kept the amp, and said he'll upgrade subs and batteries later on down the line.

You talking about the remote input?
Do the Bridge in and bridge out RCA outputs allow for daisy chaining a full range signal? or is it just for strapping to an identical amp?
They're for strapping
Mike I found a pair of blue Audiopipe sub woofers for sale on Facebook. I was wondering if that line of sub woofer is any good.
That would be the Audiopipe TXX-APCBL line, yes they are a very respectable subwoofer!

Adjusting the bass output as you play
Why not touch the bass boost
No fuses why?
Most amps are fused inline now

Depends on your voltage and impedance rise. It will vary
