Maybe the best tremolo I have ever head. How does a teenager interpret a piece like this as if she were a master in her 60s? And many kudos to Herr Schmidt for the very fine recording values.

Robert Hunt sure, the tremolo is perfect ( I would never say “ the best “ for a young guitarist, cause I’m afraid she may relax and loose the perseverance to keep the hard pace and mental stance). We can see the correct position of her right hand, and notice that she doesn’t make the very common mistake of loosing the balance of the centre of her right hand. The result is the equilibrium achieved. Just like John Williams : relaxation and quality for a soft or strong sound. She is in control!
She is among the “ greatest “, no doubt, but she must endure day and night to become THE BEST!.
She has the guts, talent, technique etc.
However, if I had to choose a special and singular virtue- beyond her neurophysiological skills- I would point to her strong musical personality! It’s very rare to see a teenager so mature! That’s her singularity! That makes her unique!
Out new Princess of the Classical guitar!
In a near future she has to put the Queen crown over her head( surely she will), but for a while, she is our Princess!
      God bless her!

Six months later - I return, I listen with eyes closed - and as a passionate follower of classical guitar since 1965, I am again transported by this recording as one of the finest I have ever heard. This young lady/old woman/long-lost-soul is channeling the entire history of our beloved guitar with her slender fingers! Que Maravilla!

Again a very nice interpretation, sensitive, intense, respect for the composition. Every note comes from within and and mss Jankovic goes completely into it without losing control. No exaggerated accents, rubati, illogical phrasing and at the same time the most beautiful version of this piece that unfolds and shines in its timeless beauty. Congratulations teacher and student!

Beautiful harmonics: like crystals or water droplets falling from icicles. Or, frozen and suspended in mid air. Nice sound quality in the recording. Nadja, with your musicality and proficiency with this instrument, we need to see more of you in the classical guitar landscape! "Come out, come out, wherever you are!" GD
