A Scottish farmer built a stone circle on his property in the 1950s. A few years back an archaeologist stumbled on it and thought he found a previously unrecorded site.
I wonder how much reconstruction has gone on ? Probably was an old Hippie hang out at one time. I get the feeling nothing good happened there. Thanks for the share. :O)
@@LeoManAndMountain all the real old stuff has been destroyed or replicated, even Stonehenge.....the more years you study history, the more you realise its all bollocks.....thats what i found after 45 years of field work.

Hahaha brilliant, I love when so called experts get things monumentally wrong 🤣
Nice spot but its got nothing to do with Druids or ancient gods, its a Victorian folly

The place is pronounced "massam" - as in Mas-ham. Yours, a Tyke. :-)

According to the Swinton Estate it was around 1820, thanks for watching 👍
