Let me get this straight: You comment something that is unrelated to the fact that I have two HEAVENLY HANDSOME girlfriends? Considering that I am the unprettiest RUclipsr ever, having two handsome girlfriends is really incredible. Yet you did not mention that at all. I am quite disappointed, dear sayu
Exactly! You can also tell by appearance-wise. The girls who want to grow up the quickest, often look more mature, but with her, you can tell she values the time she has to stay young and act young which would be in her favor once she gets older because then she’d probably be one of those people who looks like they’re 20 but are actually 35.
It would be interesting to see how their opinions change and develop as they get older. A follow-up video with these same pre-teens in a few years in high school might be enlightening.
I like how Gordon is not afraid to have an unpopular opinion. He's staying true to himself. It's okay to be straight, it's okay not to want to date and it's okay to know exactly who you are.
bro Gordon is the one with brains he knows men and women are different in strength, Also I am shocked how these children don’t realise that men have more testosterone and bone mass density giving a physical advantage
the emotional maturity and wide thinking of these kids genuinely astounds me. The bit about consent was more mature than I've heard from actual adults, it's wild
Most of them have no idea wtf they're talking about, I'm 14 gonna be a freshman next year and i guarantee you these kids are brainwashed and they are trying to sound like grown ups and they pick up these arguments and talking points on CNN and RUclips, take any normal Middle schooler and I guarantee you the answers would be completely different than these.
Can you guys do a middle ground where you have “cancelled” people (people who have been fired or have had a negative impact on their career based off of past internet activity) vs people who are for cancel culture! That would be so interesting!
What's crazy is anorexia in particular usually starts in middle school!! I was surprised to learn that but it has a lot to do with them starting puberty.
I volunteer at a crisis hotline and there’s an alarming number of middle schoolers and high schoolers who reach out because they are struggling and thinking about suicide.

It's so encouraging to see kids having a civil discussion, even at a younger age makes it more impressive. I wish we all could have a dialogue like this.
@@worldisfilledb I'm saying it's impressive because most kids that young are horrible at communicating how they feel and generally are very toxic when they do. So to see young kids communicating like this is very impressive.
Honestly, some of the adult videos get so heated. These kids are more understanding and empathetic, while adults are stiff and stuck in their ways a lot of the time.
but tbh when they say gender doesn't matter in terms of who is stronger, they are indeed wrong i think. Talking physically, boys are indeed stronger than girls on average, like one of the girls say it does not depend on gender, it depends on the individual, but on average, boys are physically stronger. Idk on other aspect, i'd say they are equal, and Jubilee obv didn't mention that, but like again, the other girl said, their volleyball team crushed the boys' team many times, but that is just her one experience, there's a reason men and women dont play most sports together, a reason all the male records for most sport is better than females. And as the other boy said, 1 girl he knows can fight half of his friends, but that is again 1 example of his, I'm sure all half of those boys who she can fight would beat 90% of the rest of the girls if not all. So physically, boys will always be better than girls on the same level. That is just natural and nothing wrong about it. Both have strengths and weaknesses in different fields EDIT: now, if someone says I can't fight a female wrestler or boxer, ofc I cant but all of the men in that field can fight all the women, or 95% of them at least. And I can fight all the girls Ihave in my class, so in the same level, boys are physically stronger than girls.

As for the ones who have an issue with what was discussed, could you please specify the prompt and what it is they said that was the problem? Just curious.
It honestly worries me a bit because i think kids should be given the freedom to have fun and not have to worry about the problems of the world for as long as possible. So as cool as it is to see such smart and thoughtful kids, part of me is sympathetic over the possibility that because they are being taught so many things about the world, they might be losing a lot of their ability to be carefree and enjoy their childhood because of the problems of the world that they are made to learn about. They might be worrying unnecessarily about things that otherwise wouldn't have effected them until later. Ex. it seemed like all of the kids had their own things that were weighing on them in some ways and burdening them. Some when it came to thinking about death, some when thinking about losing friends, some when thinking about growing up etc and as much as these are things people need to learn and struggle with in order to grow I do worry that we as a society might be trying make them learn it from too young of an age and burdening them unnecessarily at the possible cost of their innocence and enjoyment of those years.
Physically if both eating healthy and exercising on the regular (Sports, manual, labour). Males after MiddleSchool/during and after puberty males WILL BE Stronger Physically than girls. Intellegence Wise, Mental/Emotionally Stability Wise WILL ALWAYS BE UPON THE INDIVIDUAL.

@@chumasande I disagree a little, at the end of the day we have to remember that we are "animals", our reproduction method goes as "male impregnates female to make more males and females", not "male impregnates male" or "male impregantes himself", and this has been since pretty much our most older ancestor. Of course no system is perfect, even more natural systems, so there is going to be "deviations", individuals that because of something or someone managed to "leave the path", homosexuality didn't just start a decade ago, for example, there are records of homosexuality in the ancient greeks (and i'm pretty sure even before that), going from barely tolerated to accepted and incentivized in some places, one could even say that this was also thanks to philosophy, because people were activaly questioning everything around them, even the natural order of things. Also one more thing is that leaving this "path" will also have it's negatives, for example if you are homosexual, you can't make a child with your desired partner, i mean, you can do it (adoption, surrogacy), but in the natural way or the child having both genes, it's impossible, that's pretty much nature telling us that "that is not what i meant guys". I don't think homosexuality/bisexuality/whatever is a bad thing, but what i can say it's that it's not a "social construct", if tomorrow everyone became homosexual, there would be no more humans after us.

Bro did you not here the prompt to which at least 3 of them said they were cyber bullied through social media. Social media gives a footstool to far more problems than it solves.
Social media is certainly having a big impact, but I'd argue that it's a really negative one. People are now increasingly insecure and even when it comes to social issues it tends to be about validating themselves more than other people or just trying to argue with one another rather than listening to each other. Be sceptical over social movements because they're not what they pretend to be. That's not to mention the creeps that are actively targeting the young. I also think people need to be VERY careful about posting themselves and their life online. You can't erase something permanently once you've posted it and with cancel culture people are willing to dig up something you've said in the past that is inappropriate even for things that weren't considered so bad at the time. Personally I'd recommend not using your real name or posting pics of yourself online at all.
I'm so glad Owen said what he said on the topic of sexuality. I myself knew when I was in kindergarten, that what I felt for some of my male friends wasn't simply friendship. It was attraction. Being 33 now, I really wish I had the resources and representation to have known, because the churches made us feel like our lives were essentially over even for thinking of it. Obviously there's no need to act on it, but knowing is so helpful from the perspective of navigating life as a youth.

one thing that I don't fully agree with about questioning male and female biological processes, is they only talk about periods. I am not hating or saying that females go through the same thing that men do( I think females have a harder time through their periods) but they should ask the females how much they know about male cycles and daily things that men have to deal with. The only reason I am saying this is because some woman give guys such a hard time not knowing everything about a females period, but not know much about things males go through either.

This opened my eyes! Having a middle school daughter, this gives me a wide perspective on what teenagers may have in their minds compares to what I had in mind when I was teenager. These kids have a talk that I would have with my close friends as an adult. It’s amazing how Jubilee picked these wonderful kids to be involved in such a mind blowing conversation.
In the question “are boys stronger than girls” it was painful (despite them being middle schoolers) to see them not bring up testosterone, which promotes a (correct me if I’m wrong) 5% muscle increase in boys. So technically boys are stronger, but I loved how they said that it just matters about what you do with your life and if you work out or not, beautiful.
@@JonasGutenwald-yj8th not true. the age at which kids of both sexes enter puberty has been steadily decreasing over the decades, so at this point middle-school aged boys (7th and 8th grade mostly) are decently developed and stronger than the girls their age.

Exactly! You can also tell by appearance-wise. Wow, props to the parents/mentors of these kids. They're well spoken and educated
That part
but tbh when they say gender doesn't matter in terms of who is stronger, they are indeed wrong i think. Both have strengths and weaknesses in different fields
EDIT: now, if someone says I can't fight a female wrestler or boxer, ofc I cant but all of the men in that field can fight all the women, or 95% of them at least. And I can fight all the girls Ihave in my class, so in the same level, boys are physically stronger than girls.

As for the ones who have an issue with what was discussed, could you please specify the prompt and what it is they said that was the problem?
Just curious.
There are some things you shouldn't think about at that age
I think its child abuse

I think Gordon was speaking about physical strength, which is fair. Idk if this age group is too young to learn this but physical strength is also on a individual spectrum. In terms of mental, emotion strength, I don’t think a gender takes on this better than another. This group is actually so well-spoken,respectful and knowledgeable than what I’ve come across in my work with teens. Props to them👏🏽👏🏽
It does depend on a individual but on average men are way stronger than women. Not just among humans, but among all kinds of other species too.
Men are physically stronger then women because of genetics. They are equal in mind strength as there is no difference between a female and a male brain
Should had defined to them what strength meant.
Also... there is no individual spectrum to physical strength. It's pretty clear cut.
@@april1865 they are not equal in mind strength ether boy have faster reflexes and also girls have twice the amount of electrical connections between the left and right side of the brain. This allows for more empathy but this clouds logical thinking. Which was learned due to just evolution because you want women to be nurturing since they typically were the ones that took care of the children throughout history.
Yeah when one of the girls said that they crush boys in volleyball, i think she thinks that both genders are as physically strong (which is obviously untrue, girls start puberty sooner so theres those few years where the girls are stronger physically, but when boys hit puberty it completely changes.)

@@chumasande i see your point. sorry to hear that you've had struggles. ❤
@@MsDudette21 Yes we are socialized to be heterosexual. I'm bisexual woman and I have been in a relationship with a guy for about 4 years... people really come at me and say ''I knew it was a phase''. Meanwhile I know it wasnt. I know I still like all genders, but they try so hard to call me ''heterosexual'' and they don't even know that (plot twist) my boyfriend and I have been sleeping with some other girls and will maybe someday be a throuple lol. And guess what, my boyfriend is also bisexual and he's had it even worse since he gets told that he never had a sexual experience with a guy, and only uses this label to be like me and so we can be closer... and no he's not.
So there you have an example of two bisexuals who keep being told that theyre straight. EVEN when our sexuality is literally about liking the other gender aswell...
I love how Gordon was very honest and transparent about what he believed in but also was able to hear other opinions and listen.

When the kids started talking about their fear of “aging”, “more responsibilities” and growing out of their “golden years”, I could completely relate. I felt the exact same at that age because of what adults around me were telling me. I had a fear of growing up because I thought my life would be over at 18. I thought the decisions I made at that age (like choosing a career path) would be permanent and if I mess up one little thing, my life would be over. I feel this same way too. I feel like I was just 18, now I’m 26. Life comes at you fast, just remember to slow down, take pictures, and enjoy your life. When things get tough, remember it’s normal and complicated times are just challenges to adapt you as an adult.

Social media has definitely pushed these conversations forward for younger generations. I remember thinking these things bc of the things on social media plus we can learn so much.

Bro did you not here the prompt to which at least 3 of them said they were cyber bullied through social media. Social media gives a footstool to far more problems than it solves.
Literally 👏👏 I had no words to describe anything
Edit: grammar fix

These kids are in the 6-8th grade, so they are between 11-13-years-old. I know Gordon and Hanadie are the youngest since they are 11. Not sure about the others.
It makes me sad that children have to deal with such horrible comments online
I love how Gordon is straight-forward, confident in his skin and in the moment. When I was young, I thought I needed to be more, but now I just wanna achieve those again.
I definitely hate Jordan for the first question, he was so disrespectful
@@LilacMorelli why, cause he telling the truth? That boys are biologically stronger then girls? Cant change biology cause of feelings
@@LilacMorelli Men are biologically stronger than woman physically on average. He even stated physically. You're just being a snowflake lol
@@LilacMorelli if you think your so strong , then go and help Ukraine with Russia , go volunteer and physically be in Russia then
@@jowo8862 yeah but he said that women don’t go to the gym, like what? There’s so many lazy men that don’t lift a finger for themselves when I’m working my ass of at the gym
Natalie is very mature for her age, it made me so upset to see her speak about body dysmorphia and I'm beyond impressed on how educated and aware they are.
Gordon is an old soul. He’s been here before. He’s sure in himself and it shows, whilst still respecting and understanding everyone on the panel.
Tru that, respect for him
I agree
Agree!! He's Hella open minded too..!!!
He'll come far in life I'm sure. He's one of those people who appreciate the little things in life.
Facts
Gordon is smart. He speaks objectively, answers each questions without personal bias unlike everyone else.

Hanadie is based, got a lot of respect for kids that realize you'll regret rushing your childhood. Being an adult is the last thing you should strive for before you've really grown up yet.
Also you can tell Gordon is really mature.
Contradicted yourself there buddy
@@47eoghan47 he didnt, gordon is mature enough to understand that youll regret rushing your childhood
@@47eoghan47 People perceive Gordon to be more adult like but he still says he's trying to enjoy being a kid, doesn't mean he can't be mature minded while doing it.
This video made me realise how smart and educated a lot of children are these days
How can you say that when you haven’t even watched the whole video yet (as it was uploaded 7 minutes ago and you commented this 3 minutes ago)? 💀
Farming for likes
Children are stupider than ever

These kids aren’t really smart only Gordon is the smart one
I agree. I would have expected someone would have brought up a scientific viewpoint
to be fair at middle school they still have the same strenght
@@olaf-chan-728 true
@@olaf-chan-728ya true, but once maturity and puberty hits it will be a massive change
@@JonasGutenwald-yj8th not true. the age at which kids of both sexes enter puberty has been steadily decreasing over the decades, so at this point middle-school aged boys (7th and 8th grade mostly) are decently developed and stronger than the girls their age.
