Hi, What happened with the old radiator fans? Mine is loud like fly engine and makes headlight flick a second when fan kick on.

It was actually so loud and also had a major rattling noise when it kicked on.

Does the coolant pass through the transmission assembly ?

Not that I know of. Some models have the cooler mounted on the transmission and coolant run throw that but not inside the transmission.
