    Hello Kristin- from Long Island New York. As we are in the middle of a time of challenge, as a DV survivor and MS warrior quarantine is not unfamiliar. Crochet and my faith saved my life. At 57, emotionally healthy, I’ve taken the plunge to finger weight yarn! I love shawls and you’re such a fantastic teacher, I began this shawl. Confession I put it down a few times. I’m 5’9” and have my dads big worker hands lol so finger weight was frustrating me. I got to,umm about row 16 and looked at my stitches and how they started to change row by row, just as the growth of my mind and spirit have made, I’m IN LOVE with this yarn and your pattern!!! And my beautiful scarf!!! Now I intend to treat myself to your Beautiful Be So Fine yarn !!! Woohoo!!!
    Thank you is not enough. You’re changing lives in more ways then you know. You are a blessing and an inspiration. My heartfelt gratitude Miss Kristin. Much love, stay safe and healthy. 🙏♥️🐾🐾🐾🐕

    Love it is beautiful. I have a question how many yards of yarn you use in this shawl

    • @KristinOmdahl
      @KristinOmdahl  4 года назад +1

      Do you mean total or per color? It is one ball each of two colors of Be So Sporty Yarn and one ball of Be So Dazzling Yarn for embellishment in the edging. Be So Sporty Yarn is 325 yds per ball (325X2=650 yds) and Be So Dazzling is 100 yds per spool. Hope that helps!

    Beautiful shawl. Was wondering if it takes the full skeins of each color? If made in one color it would take 2? Would there be any left to make anything else?

    Hiya, thank you for sharing this pattern.
    I'm not sure I'm doing it right. After row 4 each row is increasing by more than just 4 stitches and I don't have an even amount of single trebles on each side like in row 3 where there were 6 each sign. Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

    • @KristinOmdahl
      @KristinOmdahl  4 года назад

      It is possible you are adding too many increases or forgetting to add increases on one side or the other. Keep practicing. You'll get it!

    • @zovi3363
      @zovi3363 4 года назад

      @@KristinOmdahl thank you for replying :) , for example in row 9 I have 69 stitches and in row 10 I have 77. Is this incorrect? X

    • @mandyyates342
      @mandyyates342 4 года назад

      @@zovi3363 I would check that you are doing two trebles, chain 1, one treble at the end also check the stitches in the chain 3 space at the top which should be two trebles, chain three and two trebles. I hope that makes sense
