I loved your video. I installed this shower when my old one broke. The problem I have is, the water pressure is not as good as the old shower. What can I do to fix this ?
Thanks for a really informative video. Explained nicely how an electric shower works, and all with that lovely Irish accent you have. I have a different problem in that my Triton Trance shower (has a direct water feed,not a tank), runs boiling hot no matter what position the water flow control dial is in. If I turn the other dial to the middle position its more controllable but only on a scale of warm, so really need the other position working. As is I just have to keep dipping in and out of the shower spray so I dont scold myself. Any idea’s ? ;)

The family are endlessly complaining about pressure and the temp control is too fidgety. Willing to spend a decent few sheckles on this to keep them all happy!
Isn't there a valve just below the commissioning switch that can be used to get rid of any air locks? mine turns to cold every couple of minutes, very informational video, i'm going to go through the filter and feed pipe from our water tank to check for blockages, hopefully solves the issue, hard to find info online as to what the problem and solution may be, thankfully we got No Sparks!!
I'm not too sure about the valve, there possibly is but I got rid of airlocks by running with the commission link on so the water travels through without the pump running, getting the airlocks out. Yeah might be a good place to start looking for a blockage, that's the same issue we had, would run for a while then it would go cold and repeat the cycle
If the tempertaure dial starts at 12 and ends at 5 o clock does that mean the cover dial has problem or the dial behind cover. Newly installed and barely luke warm. Dial only has half the turn yours does. 🥶
Nice video, well explained, just fitted a new one thisevening at home, with both elements engaged and temperature up to about 3/4 (2 o clock position) it looses water pressure. It seems to operate at optimum at this, we have good water pressure supply from tank so I dont know what the problem is. It doesnt seem to heat up to max temperature?????
Ahh nice! Does it get hot At this 3/4 position? The more you turn the bottom knob towards max heat the less pressure you will feel from the shower head.
That's strange, so when the shower is running there's no power light on? Might be one of two things: 1-when cover was put on the bulb wasn't clipped into the plastic holder and isnt shining through the cover. Or 2-The light cable was pulled out of its connection during installation and so the light isn't coming on. Regarding the lower pressure, the SR has a different pump. The SI had a brushed motor hence the louder noise and from memory, our old SI was slightly more powerful. There might be a bit of different pressure output from the SR but if it's a massive difference there might be a problem. When upgrading did you use the hose and shower head from the newer shower or keep the old one? This might be part of the issue but only a guess. Hope this helps

Most likely blocked filter or a blockage in the water inlet, you should notice the water pressure changing when you move the bottom dial. I'm assuming if you move the top dial to cold and it goes cold though correct? Just the bottom not working

The older showers T90SI had a bit more water power than the SR, not much can be done I don't think

Just had one installed but even at the highest heat setting the water is only luke warm . Is there a fault ?
Definitely doesn't sound like it's working as it should 🤔 did it replace an existing shower unit?
Hi yea got my t90sr just fitted but it runs but doesn’t show power light can you help .. Pressure seems abit low to comperd to old t90si it replaces
