After watching your brilliant build videos, it inspired me to have a go at 009, love it. I've now got several slate built buildings that I need to paint using your style of painting, could you please let me know where you bought the paints from.
Hi George, many thanks for getting back so quickly much appreciated, I have managed to get the 2 DecoArt paints plus Ammo Mig Black wash, now looking for a substitute for Anita's Grey and Miniature Painters Blue/Grey No. 8. All I need now is a steady hand and lots of patience, you make it look so easy. Keep the videos coming, can't wait for the next one.
@@Tigercatflyboy you’ll struggle with Anita’s grey, it’s been discontinued by the looks of things, so I’m after a substitute as well! The miniature paints is available, I get it in my local DIY store, but I’m sure you could find it online
I really have to complain here... You're making me put aside projects i was probably gonna leave half finished anyway to start planning a 009 layout! Curses! A brilliant job as always though!
I get a rough size, but the bottom sinks into the foam, so it doesn’t need to be exact, and the bottom gives you a few mm to adjust it to sit flush at the top
Excellent, exactly what i was looking for. Thankyou.
You're welcome!
Thanks for the great video. This is on my list as a guide to build my own bridge.
It’s not a difficult build, but looks really nice. Give it a go!
Looks really nice, I am edited to see the next update!
Thanks! I’m working on the TR this week, so the next ones going to be a squeeze to get in before Friday!
Fabulous. 🥳👍
Thanks 🤗

Hi there, a lot of my craft acrylics were bought years ago, but if you search for ‘DecoArt’, they’re still widely available in store and online

Looks brilliant George! Really great finish on that
Thanks, I seem to my technique, and just apply it to anything I do 😅

Very kind to you to say, but yes, give it a go. The beauty with 009 is you can happily make something really tiny, it doesn’t need to fill the room!
You make it look so easy! What's the size of the baseboard used for this project?
Off the top of my head. The board was 20” x 37”..not very big!
How do you know how long/high to make the abutments?

Love the video and your work but the music is horrible! I would rather listen to your comments.
Sorry to hear that, hopefully you’ll agree the more recently videos have more subtle music
