    Now that's how you make a crawfish broil... I seen ppl just dump the crawfish in the pan with out washing it n season it too much.... The best crawfish video I've seen so far!!

    Great video! May I ask you a few questions?
    Question 1- how much water gets added to the pot? It looks to be about 1/2 full
    Question 2- how large of container is that spice jar?
    Question 3- how many potatoes, sausage and onions get added?

      1. Don't use water..use about 5 pounds of ice.
      2. The jars normally run about 72 ounces. In addition to the jar, use liquid boil also 16oz
      3. Potatoes, your choice. Here we use the small red potatoes..normally count about 2 per person. Onions.. about 4-5 cut in half. Sausage..up to you also. I love sausage so I do about 2 packs

      Those stock pots range in size from 30 to 120 quarts. Sixty quarts easily feeds 12 people and can use a basic high pressure burner. In 60 quart I fill half with water. Just enough to cover food- otherwise you are just diluting your seasoning. I use half of that l 4.5 pound jar of Zatarain’s powder, 4 ounces liquid boil concentrate and one flow thru spice bag. Then 1/2 jar of cayenne. The longer you soak the spicier it gets. So taste some after 15 minutes and then you’ll know if it needs longer to soak

    Best way. when pot with seasoning comes to rolling boil put crawfish in pot right when comes to rolling boil shut off burner put frz corn bag of ice, can also mist the outside of pot to cool let soak 45 min tail meat will be firm juicy slip out of shell not mushy perfect btw people worried about bag of ice diluting seasoning you just put in a lil more seasoning to begin with problem solved😂

    It's so crazy that prices for crawfish are 10 bucks or higher per lb due to the weather in 2023 and early 2024.

    Try using the boil boss to cool down your temp and stop the cooking process. Better flavor when not diluting your water. just Saying! Looked tasty though..

    If you soak it with ice you only dilute it slightly compared to all that garden hose water. Frozen water obviously much more efficient at cooling than room temp tap water. Just get an extra bag of ice and plenty left for your “other things in the cooler”. Just admit that you forgot the ice and move on
