- In this video we test what we can throw at our waterjet laser process in terms of external disturbances to the waterjet while cutting intricate features into CFRP panels.
Due to the Avonisys' patented Air-Jet technology the laser head is unimpressed by these excess disturbances.

Hello, how thick can this silicon carbide be cut? What is the maximum capacity of this machine?🙂
How big is the thermo-effected zone? less than 0.2mm? with water ject protection, i think the cutting edge should be much better. But why you spray the water manually?
You can see the final part in the end of the video. A very intricate style cut with high edge quality. The spraying was actually an experiment to see how stable the waterjet is, even when trying to disturb it with flooding water. This was more of a coincidental test while cleaning of some cutting debris after hours and hours of cutting.
@@Avonisys OK, understood now. The cutting edge is really beautiful. We planned to buy a laser cutting for CFRP part (thickness 2-5mm), but need efficiency. Burned zone should be less than 0.2mm.
This solution sould be good, if the cycel time is also good.
