Wasserstrahlgeführtes Laserschneiden von 18mm dicke hexagonal-Strukturen mit 0.25mm Wandstärke Наука
I operated a waterjet cutting machine for years, but this blew my mind right away!
Wow
Excellent
Lazers IN water.
Indeed
Wow, what a precision cut width of material from both side is clean and equal
Ok, I'm in love, take my money!!! 😍
Amazing technology! Just perfect.
I am really impressed!
(Maybe this question is a little too extensive to ask in a youtube comment. Happy to write a mail if this is the case.)
When cutting hardened steel up to 72 Rockwell C in hardness, 6mm maximum thickness at speed this high: how big is the HAZ (Heat Affected Zone)? Single digit micron range like in EDM?
This is amazing!!!
That's very impressive. How well does it perform against more difficult materials like stainless or titanium?
Man learned how to fly less than 120 years ago, and now this! Astounding! And 120 years from now, what will there be?
Cave men running around with the latest invention: clubs
@@_John_P and if the liberals are still in charge the taxes on those caves are going to be sky high.
@@napster7825 There are not enough caves for 9 billion people, so regardles of taxes, caves will be unaffordable to most people.
However if clubs are not outlawed, they might be the cheapest option to get affordable housing?
Two geniuses wondering who will die first, and a molecular assembly machine that can make anything out of any feedstock that has some of the required elements in it. "Say Clem, this says I need 3 atoms of Protracterium to finish this here doohickey. I see you have some right ov'er in your left kidney. I shore could use me some of that. Stand right cheer for a minute...."
Almost beyond belief, amazing
Fantastic machining. Next level makes lathe redundant
Thank you for the kind words. Not sure whether we will make lathes redundant, but there are certainly some enabling aspects about the technology that are worth reviewing.
Looks like you could just simply cut tin foil out of a block of aluminium lol
Wow that's amazing
Has this technology been applied to Ceramics? The current Rectification Tech leaves the material stressed and brittle.
Incredible accurary!
This is legit cool af.
A very nice demonstration. Does the laser heat cause a slight taper due to top being exposed more to the laser? What gas is used?
Thank you. Yes, you are right, there is a slight taper with the top portion being approx. 0.01mm wider as the exit. The system is equipped with an Air-Jet function to blow dry the cutting area and to protect the waterjet from disturbances. As the name implicates that runs with air (CDA)
Is it possible to cut through very thick steel??
Can it cut Tungsten Carbide of Cutting, stamping die accuracy?
Can this machine be used for cutting wood? If so, what would be the maximum depth?
How will this machine work with stainless steel?
edm quality where are the super smooth surfaces?
Great video..
Awesome. God bless you.
wowww just woww Proud of human technology 💪👏👏👏
wow its science fiction!!! impressive!!!
Really perfect.. what is minimum thickness of laser path? Because I want to know the least corner radius can be achieved by this method.
Smallest corner is in the range of 0.02 - 0.03mm
The laser cutting quality is better than wire EDM?
whoever came up with this is a genius
Awesome, can it cut iron also ?
Electronic Dance Music is my favorite genre.
EDM is the most inventive and exploratory genre, with new, fresh concepts and sounds blips coming to ears and minds every day!
What is the job size(Bed aize)

Amazing!
thank you
So Amazing
that is amazing
Hello, I wanted to clarify which laser is used, this is a fiber laser, and how it turns out to cut metal for fiber lasers use oxygen, and you wrote that you have air in order to dry the cut. Thanks for the early.
Cutting speed? For ss 304/ss316
This SO KOOL
so the water is just for chip evacuation/part cooling? it doesn't seem very high-pressure. also, are the laser and the water coaxial? it seems like the turbulent flow when the water hits the workpiece would cause unwanted optical effects.
Infrared light passes through water almost like its not there.

What's the price tag for equipment and maintenance? Results look awesome 😊
What is the price? That's it.
@@binjouclarke3155 If you ask it's to much.
Is it laser micro jet machine?
Impressive 👍
Can you cut plastic with this ?
amazing
One word ...... Wow !
Wow I thought EDM was the only way.
ithink water jet cannot be as close as accurate as wire edm, when for example 100 mm or higher parts are in order.
Which material was that
Впечатляет!
This is so cool but as a hobbyist I can probably only dream about getting to use a machine like this one day 😂
There is always an option for contracted part making too
@@Avonisys Interesting! Do you do this in-house or will you act as agent?
@@JohnDoe-ce2wl we have both in-house capabilities as well as job-shop customers that use our technology. Feel free to reach out through avonisys.com for more information
@Thomas Jefferson home building a cnc machine that can rival company built is expensive too. EDM machines even home built is expensive. the cost of a high power laser is relative to those costs. seeing as you need a fiber laser and not a CO2 laser toy its not going to be cheap either.
@Thomas Jefferson Thats why you buy the laser diode and then purchase the correct lenses and make yourself a laser source that can cut 80um or whatever your heart desires. Laser building is not that difficult its just hard to find the parts but now that alibaba exists it's like finding hay in a haystack haha.
ایشیز دوزده 👍👍👍👍
How much material gets cutaway?
You should contact Fractory or emachine and have them include this as an option for high precision metal cutting. I would want this for sure!
Amazing
I want this machine so badly but I can't afford it right now. But I'll buy this one day for sure.
Sir good evening sir I am interested this machine please tell me this machine used in carbide thanks

Can I know the homepage, equipment spec, and price?
Very interesting as light travels in a straight line so the cut must be straight. Big problem with deep cuts with laser is that the cut doesn't stay straight.
yeah, i would like to see dimension of the exagon tube that is cut with this laser, probably will have bigger diamater at the bottom, but can't see from the video
They effectively use a stream of water as a Fiber optic which infinitely focuses the laser so they can cut very deep and accurately
@@timmartell4012 Interesting! So what is the max cutting depth of a machine like in this video? Can it do 300mm in mild steel? -Asking for a friend!
How thick is light? 😎
Impressive.
What about land and taper cuts?
Amezing👍👍
love it
What is this sorcery ?
The work of laminar waterflow can achieve more then i thought, pretty pretty sweet
What kind of sorcery is this?
What is the maximum thickness this can cut? Can it cut steel?
20mm should be no problem depending on work piece material. For steel (and other materials) it depends on the task to perform. For more detailed information, please reach out to us through www.avonisys.com
Please how much and max working area dimention
Unbelievable👍
Can transparent materials like glass and sapphire be processed ?
They cut a huge diamond in another video, so yes.
@@galfisk Thank you.
wHICH MACHINE ? WHICH MAKE ?
Hexagons are the bestagons
You can make some lovely puzzle balls where would I be able to purchase one l m k
Невероятно!
If cutting depth can be controlled, then it can be used as cnc milling machine for certain special parts
That would be very difficult to tweak and would require brand-new set of nozzles which would kill feasibility.
How much it is cost?
Can someone explain what's going on here? Yes, it's waterjet and laser, but how does it work? Is it mostly the laser doing the cutting, and the water is there just to cool?
Water jet used as optic fiber to deliver laser pulse, google 'water jer laser researchgate'
@@xfxox Yes! I've researched since, and see that now. I'm an engineer, so a lot of this stuff doesn't usually impress me. But whoever came up with that idea was a clever one. It's a brilliant combination of the two technologies. Thanks for the reply!
What's song ?
Would have been nice to show the block sideways with light behind so one can see the cut.
Holy shit, this is unbelievable. Corner radius 0.2-0.3 mm this is crazy.
0.02-0.03 mm!
woww i like it.
No waste material as i se in CNC wich is alot.
Take my money!
I emailed your company requesting informations on Precision, specs and pricing but didn’t hear back!
like and interate the technology. we can or not if we stay in THAILAND.
Dayum! 0.05mm kerf thickness! I repeat, 0.05mm!
That is 0.001968504 INCHES for all you people not using the metric system.
For reference, human hair has a thickness diameter range of 0.04mm to 0.12mm.
My 3D printer's standard layer height is 0.20mm and the factory specs allow for printing at 0.10mm layer height using a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm. I have been able to get a few prints at 0.05 using that nozzle but print time is 4 times longer but the layer lines are almost invisible to the naked eye, especially using a white filament.
I can hold .05mm with a fucking file. Our EDM machines regularly have to hold tolerance of .005mm or +.0025 to -.0025. Its 2021 50 microns isn't astounding.
Laser machine or wire cut machine
This machine then only needs water and electricity? No consumables at all? awesome.
actually, there is a cutting grit that is added to the water which is a consumable and I would imagine is quite difficult to recover.
Price?
What's the kerf size?
0.06mm or less
@@Avonisys .002"? Impressive, if so.
@@JohnDoe-rx3vn yes that is correct in Inch it is 0.002 - 0.0024 " kerf width

Cut diamond without grinding ? That would be perfect Cut for every stone piece.
hello, cut all types of aluminum?
Guys give you free idea - put laser down and detail up , so gravity bring all debris down . Must be much better .
