So proud of you eve!! 2 years ago I sat my GCSE’s 4 weeks after my mum suddenly passed away and i some how got all A’s and A*s and my reaction was the same as yours. I think it’s incredible that even in the face of adversity you were able to still do that well, your strength as a human is admirable!! My GCSE results are my proudest achievement not for the grades but for the things I went through to get there. Well done eve xxxx

NickyL yeah I’ve got an unconditional to go to my first choice uni! Very excited. And I’m doing a lot better now thank you, was the worst two years of my life and I felt like I went through hell but I feel the most positive, happy and grateful version of myself now x

v happy for eve but this was HARD for me to watch after getting 42% average in my prelims at ox having worked as hard as I could manage and missing only a couple of lectures through the whole year. (@eve it's not just people who haven't tried at all who fail their prelims lol).

Hola,Eve! Felicidades por tus maravillosas notas! Debes estar muy orgullosa. Soy de España y estuve en Cambridge con una beca Erasmus hace unos años. Nadie me explicó que obtener un 80% en Inglaterra era una gran nota, ya que aqui en España la màxima nota,es un 10, 8 está bien pero no es excelente. Viendo videos he descubierto que un 90 o 100 es prácticamente imposible allí porque se considera algo publicable!!! Por lo que...mis 60/70/80 en mis essays en Cambridge realmente estaban muy bien!!! Y yo sin embargo estaba muy decepcionada por no haber conseguido un 90 o 100! Lol! Besos

Congrats eve you smashed it!!! My best result this year (2nd year of uni at York) was 83% on an essay that I was absolutely convinced I’d failed, I even had a nightmare I got 38% in it and told all my friends it was a sign and then I got 83! Mad

I finished my whole degree this year and ended up with a first overall which I was aiming for... and I wasn’t surprised with any of my results apart from my dissertation which I got 71 and I did want a lil higher but still happy! I do have to add that the uk grading system is so weird to me, like i also got an average of 75 but where i live that's like "good" but for someone to have a first, they'd have to have like a 90% overall 😂😂😂 it's just weird how it varies so much from country to country!

Massive congratulations! You worked really hard and deserve this kind of success. I've just graduated with a languages degree and know how difficult it is to get high marks, especially when you have to perform under so much pressure and stress. And with languages degrees, there's so many different skills to master (listening, reading, writing, speaking, literature essays, translation etc).
In my Spanish exams at university I used to make really stupid grammar mistakes... but I'd only realise the mistakes once the exams were over... I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so waiting for results was always a nightmare and I could never tell what marks I'd get.
