Reecently got a Soulo Bl. Had a soulo long ago, didnt use it much though as preffered the Tarra. Absolutely loving the Soulo now though, the toughest tent I currently have. Gonna get a 2nd middle pole for it but a long wait, estimate is spring till the uk distributers have it in stock.
I’ve actually got the BL Soulo but not used it. Will be taking it out in a couple of weeks with plenty of Easton tent pegs as well. Not making that mistake again 👍
Only disappointment about this video, Is that it eneded, really enjoyed it. Like I send in my previous comment, this is what wild camping should be about. Well done
You live and learn right enough. I picked up a Hilleberg Soulo a few months back and have been out 3 times the last few weeks. Great tents you can really rely on. Like you I need to get another rainproof jacket since my Berghaus is now around 8 years old and showing it’s age. I take it you are based down south?
The great thing about the Soulo is that you have absolute peace of mind no matter what the weather conditions are that you're going to be safe when it's pitched. It's probably too good for the summer tbh. Thinking about getting the Vango Banshee pro 200 for the summer next year. I'm from Glasgow but been in Liverpool now 14 years so not too far to travel to the lakes.
Jock Outdoors I live in East Kilbride. I have a Zephyros 1 for summer use. It’s ok but has its restrictions. As you say the Soulo can handle just about anything,( I have woken up to find that it’s atrocious wind and rain outside the Soulo and I was oblivious to it all......I tend to sleep with no bother though I know some struggle to sleep on a wild camp). The Soulo is overkill for the summer but sometimes it’s best to be over prepared, especially on the west coast of Scotland.

Great honest review. It a nice feeling of closing out the weather and getting into dry gear. That first beer goes down a treat.
Yeah it was definitely an honest review lol and spot on the first beer went down a treat 🤪👍
Nice video mate, good to see someone pushing the limits of the Soulo and using it for what its designed to do 👏🍻

Great Video Jock, Iam thinking about the Hilleberg Soulo, But being 6ft with me dog, Would it be rather small?
