I love how at first, 'evil' Strange is like wtf? Youre throwing literal music at me? But then, as is the way of Steven Strange, hes like ok, Ill play ball, lets get weird with it, and then he summons a musical staff to contian the onlsaught, and then gets right into it with a symphonic battle between two sorcerer supremes. Its just cool.
I love this scene because, Dr. Strange uses Beethoven's Symphony 5 and Sinister Strange uses Bach's Toccata and Fugue. This shows how Classical Music is everywhere!
Also subtle references to Giacchino's themes of dr strange / Batman, works that Elfman worked on too. Even the final note on the harp is a little wink to that. This scene is full of easter eggs.
@@tomashorst9544if you haven’t realized that yourself by now you need to get out more or at least start researching the cultural impact of classical music.
@@garytaylor8616 that wasn't my point at all numbnuts😂 the guy just said "this proves classical music is everywhere" like why does this scene prove that exactly?
@billygregory1547 A very fun role playing game played with a few friends, some dice, and a character sheet. You could be a wizard, barbarian, rogue, bard, healer, fighter, loads of options. It's like a choose your own adventure book that you and your friends write as you go. It's quite possibly the peak of interactive storytelling. If you like video games, Baldur's Gate 3 is based off the 5th edition of D&D. There's also Pathfinder, Divinity Original Sin, and a few other games based on it. Or you could try watching Critical Role, Dimension 20, or any of the many other groups who stream their play sessions. Most are on this site.
This scene is good but i think they should let sorcerer supreme strange appear in this movie, because we see a lot of strange variant, such a miss opportunity to make his debut.
I don't care what people say about this movie, Sam Raimi cooked. I know that are some dumb non sense scnes, but it's a truly fun movie with a lot cool and creative scenes
The Darkhold was made by Cthon FOR the Scarlet Witch, I think. If strange could square up to four infinity stones he could take another wizard with the darkhold.
This is how you do a musical the right way. The whole movie could have been this and I'd have been okay with that. Whoever had this idea really deserves a raise.
One thing I noticed is that this variant of Sinister Strange is from an alternate world in which what would what if Strange did not meet America Chaves? who was being chased by Shuma-Gorath when Strange was at Christine's wedding and heartbroken and sad later he decides to use DH to dreamwalk and look for an alternative reality where he can live with Christine and only kills hundreds of Strsnges who did not live without Christine.
I don't like it because of how heavily they nerfed the magic. In Infinity War Strange goes toe to toe with a 4 stone Thanos for a half a minute, single handedly, without using the time stone, casting really cool looking spells. Here it's whip, whip, jump out of the way, single projectile, etc.
Make dr strange 3 already sheesh, it’s been too damn long since we’ve seen these heroes. And it’s not cause the mcu has been making movies too fast, it’s a writer problem because of the strike that was happening
Compare this to dr strange 1 fight scenes ... it just sucks man . The Doc should be doing wayyyyyyyy more then fighting in a limited space with limited spells . Bro can do virtually anything and this is how he uses his powers ? 😂
What a disappointment, I was expecting evil doctor Strange to be the main villain and there will be multiple battles. Instead, we got this short musical fight.

I wonder if he will fight the what if series's strange supreme? This was essentially a much weaker version of the character. It's a flipped version of the what if fight.
Sucks? It shows off the magical side of the MCU perfectly in a symphonic battle with Evil Strange, sure Sam Raimi made some questionable decisions but overall this movie isn't entirely bad. This scene will forever reign as a masterpiece for the people who actually enjoy the MCU and not just for one movie like Infinity War or Endgame because those Avengers films don't tell the whole story of the MCU, it's to bring those characters we've been seeing in solo films/shows and bringing them together with a compelling story. Not everything's for everyone so I respect your thoughts on this particular fight scene, but it's creative and that's enough to let us know that whoever ''offered this scene'' adores the character of Doctor Strange and actually wants to express his true power.
@@AMA_edits494I don’t think the issue is the idea, the idea is great, but the execution could use some improvements.
