The way he belts out that one "Maria" is just perfect. -That's not even how it's supposed to be sung as per how it was written, but it doesn't sound out of place. It just fits!- Scratch that last bit because this part is actually in the sheet music, it's just that the recordings I've heard of this song, from the original Broadway cast and the two movies, use the alternative provided because it was probably too high for the singers of those versions. That note is a high B-flat! Holy crap! Fraser is a beast.
Hadley has played Marius in Les Mis and Raul in Phantom and Love Never Dies. He is a talented actor too. I discovered him through watching Ramin Karimloo's progress through his career. They are good friends and share a band - Broadgrass. Also they have written a number of songs together.
Such an underrated performer. Seen him in a few things but he should be much more “out there” than he is. Have you seen the clip of Empty Chairs with Ramin 😂😂😂. What a voice ❤
