I may comment again but Arya also has a cat following her since Kings Landing. Also Bran and Arya have CRAZY feet that can grip like hands. The way their climbing trees is described is NOT humanly possible. And Sansa...Lady's shade is STILL with her and protecting her.
When Robb and Bran received Sansa's letter telling them to surrender (by order of Cersei), Bran offers: "she has lost her wolf". But Sansa also once dreamed of Lady looking at her sadly. I don't think she isn't a warg anymore just because she has lost her wolf (and Lady might be still with her, as the dream shows). She befriended a dog very easily in the Eyrie (and before that a Hound, but that's another matter).
Pretty sure Sansa will warg birds in the future once she breaks free from her cage ( from "little bird" to Lady Bird). Very likely that Arya wargs cats too ( cat of the canals). I think it's very likely that's how she knew that it was the Kindly man who was smacking her with the stick.
Im convinced Sansa will warg birds, and learn from cersei and littlefinger how important information is and how to play the game. She is called a little bird often, she is trapped in a “cage” and seems to warg birds in the eyrie, watching marillion. Just like varys has his little birds that whisper to him, sansa will be able to spy and gain information in a way that was previously not thought possible. The ghost of high heart seems to see sansa twice in her future visions. I would be shocked if she didn’t have a larger role to play that includes her warg powers
I think the direwolves were sent to awaken the starks warg powers. They opened up the link for their abilities to develop. Without their direwolves arya and sansa seem to latch onto other animals, the warg connection has been established, its just undeveloped
I wonder why some Stark children are more aware of their warging abilities than others. It's not as if Lady and Sansa weren't close, or Grey Wind and Robb. Does it come with practice? But I don't recall Jon or Arya ever actively trying to learn their abilities; they just seemed to be able to do it one day. I considered age as a factor, since Arya and Bran were quite young when they started bonding with their direwolves. But Jon was almost the same age as Robb, so that doesn't quite add up. And the Varamyr chapter didn't really clarify whether developing intimacy with your animal actually helps.
Varamyrs chapter implies quite a lot that warging ability/strength varying between skin changers. Such as him saying Jon was strong in the gift and that he was stronger than his mentor. Such as Bran being the canditate to become the 3 eyed crow is has the strongest skin changing ability.

Sounds more crannogmen

Rob will likely be burned on a pyre, then - very much like Daneres(?) - com forth unburned Something like that would be pretty fantastic.
Sansa was quite close to the old dog at Littlefinger’s keep

@@Stxrk I guess if Jon is nearer the Wall the magic is supposedly stronger but then what's Arya's reason?
@@AlexOfTheRhoynar Arya’s reason is that she’s Martin’s wife’s favorite character and therefore has to be badass
