I had 10 issues with my 890 AdvR. Everything from Immobilizer failure, moisture inside the TFT display and cold start issues. I hope they fixed it on this update version
I have MY21 890adv R. I actually noticed the new dash showing max 9k rpm (2023) Vs mine 12k rpm(2021). Also temperature only showing wording rather than gauges. 2023 new front fairing also removed the headlight support tube from 2021. Is that what we expecting? Sorry for a lot of questions, we won't see it arriving dealership before 2023 in the UK....
How do you get the front up so easily? I'm in Rally mode (ABS offroad) but can't get it in the air. Or am I just too soft on the throtthle? It looks so easy here. Other settings?

My wife and I both ride the 2023 890 Adv R and when in Rally mode with Off-road ABS and off-road throttle occasionally we get a "Traction control" advisory and it kicks the bike into street ABS. The only way we can get it back into Off-road ABS is to turn the bike off for a couple min to reset things then it lets me get back into Off-road mode.
So are those seats going to be on them as part of the bike or those special rally seats they put on because in the photos from KTM it’s a step seat and oranges a little less like four or 5 inches from the bottom up on the side versus these there’s no step and they’re like 10 inches side up

The reason of the question is: your bike sounds amazing - something I would love to here on the bike I've just ordered (890 adv r 2023). It's a very capable motorcycle and thanks for showcasing its true potential; I live in Midwest, USA, and I got mine delivered last week. I'm a first-time KTM owner, and the experience has been disappointing. I get the extra $699 for Tech Pak; it's a user-centric feature that won't make a difference for most riders. But to enable Bluetooth, you must pay between $150-200 and buy a connectivity unit. That's a new low for KTM. What next? Pay for using front brakes? These days even coffee machines have Bluetooth in them. And my dealer has no idea when this will be available here. It's a great motorcycle, but KTM's business model doesn't appeal to me. I have other European Motorcycles ( Duc & BMW) and know what I pay for. It's definitely for something other than fundamentals.

The "Demo Mode" is a rip-off. The cost of the "additional" feature is already baked into the base cost of the bike. Translation, you've already paid for them when you bought the bike. But KTM, in all of their grand wisdom, has decided that they will charge you for them again after 932 miles. It's the trial balloon until they roll out a full monthly subscription plan to activate features on the bike you've already paid for. Don't be one of their useful idiots.
The best all rounder adv bike... But These Pay Per Use features this business model from KTM makes me sick, having to subscribe or pay to unlock something that's already on the bike... It's a fraud. KTM is just following BMW schemes... Mine 790 R from '19 it's just plug and play... And it's not that the '23 R will be cheaper than the '22...
So you get married, stop riding, have kids, and after a few years your wife says you can get a new bike. These guys are young, excellent condition, and are professional riders (and photographers.) DO NOT think you can go out and buy a new KTM and do this. Go to Starbucks and watch it on RUclips. You'll live longer.
Well, that’s a pretty negative comment. You’re right on one aspect, you can’t just jump on a KTM and repeat this. I’m 46, started riding three years ago. Went on a solo trip to central Australia on a modded DR. Did a adventure riding course to teach me the basics. Took my time and had a ball. I had a low speed crash in a gorge, but the course taught me how to get my bike out of that situation. I’m building my skills up so I CAN ride like these guys. Will power and common sense will get most people to a pretty good level, and safely. Your comment will put people off - to grow this we need to encourage people, not discourage them.

Unlikely, the new 890R has Mitas E07 on the back if I saw that in a glims, they not the best for of road, so must be the rider doing the magic.

Looks like he was using the clutch and some body weight pop as well
Turn the slip control down to one, or just turn it off. Even in rally mode, settings around 5 or higher make it hard to lift the front

The International and European versions of the bike will come with Mitas ENDURO TRAIL+ tires from factory, so I guess you're correct.
