Amazing! Great riding and great quality video. Always impressive to see what these bikes can do in the right hands. The lead rider looks pretty handy on his 890 too.
@@ChrisBirchNZ same! My buddy was so worked at that point. He tried like 20x. I thought he was gonna have a stroke. I had to ride it for him. No way I would hit that shit on my 640
Did much of Moab on a Husky TE510 before I had my 500 EXC, and did 5 Miles of Hell on a GasGas TXT 300 Pro. Would not want have tried the more difficult trails in Moab on an adventure bike. Do now have a KTM 1190R but save it for the milder stuff. Hats off to you guys for giving it a go.
Wow!...that's an awesome trail!...really challenging for that big 890!...I'm not sure if I dare to do it in my 350 Freeride!...😅. You are having such a fun ride!, I can see that you are a great bunch of dear friends! (13:55...😄😆😂🤣). Magnificent riding and great video Chris & pal's, thank you!.
This is from the Blue Tees, great riding, just amazing. The navigation over this terrain is inspirational. Crazy cool to watch, especially on these bigger bikes.
WOW, for those guys everything looks so easy and probably it is, but for someone who doesn't have their skills I would think that that trail could be almost impossible to cope with. I don't really have any idea on how hard that trail can be, it's difficult to understand by the footage. At a certain point you see that the rider has to face a big boulder and suddenly, apparently without any efforts, the rider is beyond that, was that difficult? Considering that we are talking about excellent riders, probably champions (Chris Birch surely is), I think so. Thanks for your awesome video!
Amazing! Thought you were taking the rough way around @5:18, and then I saw you really take it @7:48 😬 Would love to watch this in VR 👍 Can't believe how steady the camera is.
I tell you what, Id have a Dunlop radial trials tire out there, the hook up on rock is amazing. + I want a 300 or a 150 XCW. 7 psi radial trials tire is the cliff climber.
Is this the unofficial launch of the KTM 890 Enduro R? I'd have trouble hiking up some of that. Awesome skills and on a 200kg bike as well. Thanks for sharing Chris👍
Est-ce que les motos sont montés avec les roues d'origine les axes de roue d'origine et les pneumatiques d'origine ainsi que les tés de fourche d'origine?
I probably couldn't do that on my own 300. I certainly could not do it on an 890, and wouldn't want to try, on my own bike. Maybe on someone else's 890? KTM should give Birch as many bikes as he needs. Goodness knows how many he'll sell for them.
Hey Chris, hope all is well! Since you are the only person I know to ride the new 2023 ktm 890 adv R do you think the new fairing has eliminated the air buffeting?
@@ChrisBirchNZ thanks. Another question, when are riding the 890 say in moab what settings are you riding in? I was riding nasty terrain in AZ this weekend and the bike kept stalling out on inclines. I was in rally/rally/ abs off. Any suggestions? Thanks for you advise.
I am truly impressed to see what you guys can do on an adventure bike.
Amazing! Great riding and great quality video. Always impressive to see what these bikes can do in the right hands. The lead rider looks pretty handy on his 890 too.
Raddick goes very good!
13:51 that was spot on planting that front in the rock for a perfect double blip. epic video
I was pretty happy with that line!
This is a hell of a trail. That stair steps at the beginning are exciting on the way out too. Amazing hitting it on the big bikes
Yeah, I got to those final steps and thought "damn it I forgot about that"
@@ChrisBirchNZ same! My buddy was so worked at that point. He tried like 20x. I thought he was gonna have a stroke. I had to ride it for him. No way I would hit that shit on my 640
WOW.. for most people undoable.. for Chris the most technical trail .. 🙂

Awesome place👏🏻👏🏻thanks for the video Chris and friends, amazing views, nervous for part 2 👊🏻✊🏻
That takes some skill! Love the video's
Bitte nicht vergessen 🙏
Dies ist ein Werbefilm
Der Chris ist der Hammer
13:21 scene. Wow! Great Sir!
The off-road couch is amazing!!
Unbelievable what these bikes are capable of with the right rider on them. Great footage inspiring me to try harder on my 890r
Crazy skill levels!
Amazing! Makes it look easy
Great to see you out with radek the Canadian beast!
Chunky enough to eat with a fork, but use an adventure bike to savor every drop! Blessed are the pathfinders for I shall follow their lines!
Another top video Chris 👌
Absolutely loved that trail!
Grab a T7 to make yourself life easier. But that is a real nice playground. I love it.
Amazing nature, stunning trails and beautiful riding 🤌 where exactly is this?
Great riding!
You guys are nuts doing that trail on those heavy bikes! Nice work!

7:44 he ponders which line to take. left is obvious. and then out of no where proceeds to just create one.... LOL dude is amazing!
Amazing Riding!I was feeling the pain of the front rims!
What a legend
Just took delivery of an 890 R and have that trail on my bucket list!
Amazing 🤩
Wow just wow! How do you keep that front wheel straight?!?
awesome terrain! Imagine doing it on a wet day! 😁
I wonder how much it would change on these rocks?
Thats one hell of a trail.. keep it coming 👌
Amazing ride
Yalls skill level has me thinking I need to take up knitting hahaha. stay safe
I wouldn't want to be a rear tire. Just beautiful riding in an incredible scenery.
Incredible mate
Awesome 😎
You have to be "full send" on a bike that big. Well done mate!
Gotta like that BC rider up front of ya, he is a master on a bike bike!!!!
Awesome come out to Nevada we have some just like that I ride.
That's the plan! Probably early next year.
Wow nice trail ! Yes technical but looks nice to ride
Très beau reportage , bravo pour les pilotes. Super qualité des vidéos.
13:49 when your riding buddy cleans a tough section wayyyy too easily
Chris, you made it looked too easy. 🤣 WOW!
I like to think Chris took his bike back to the dealers after that, " Ye, I like it a lot but I'll go away and think about it, cheers mate"!
I'm a Jeeper and this looks so much more fun. Now I need to get my Africa Twin to Moab
Very good boy's...
"Fuckin' dick!" Dude... I'm dying....
super nice!! can a standard 890 adventure (non R) perform equally?? Thanks!
The lower ground clearance will be an issue on a trail like this but on dirt roads etc it's an awesome bike.
@@ChrisBirchNZ thanks a lot for the answer… I am on a big dilema…
Damn, hardly a moment to breathe on this trail. Nice work! Is that a brand new 2023 890R, lol?

Ridden that trail a few times. Loads of fun. The most difficult part as an American? Understanding a word Chris is saying. 😂
Waddayameanbro?
@@ChrisBirchNZ I worked for a Kiwi for 5 years. Never understood a word he said. Pretty fast guy though. 😉
Dan I wish we had Bice small number plates like that
Muy buen video
Inspiring. I am not worthy.
Those KTM sound electric
Them 890’s sound like there’s marbles bouncing around inside the engine 😮

Gee wiz. I've never ridden anything other than a 501. Those bike not only don't look like they could do such things, nor do they sound like they can!
Wow! 😎
Sick.
Mountain goats would see this trail and say "Naw, I'm good".
Brap, brap, brap… and it was exactly as you said 🤣 👌
What kind of deck goes up that? One with big tires.

Is it your first time riding southern Utah? I grew up in this area and it's just incredible. You do make it look easy!
Yes first time in Utah, what a place! I really hope to be back.
I would have no problems doing the easy parts. 🤣
A W E S O M E 🤯
I laughed a lot watching this 😂
You need to be on a 300 or 350 to fly thru that trail..Love on my 350 xcfw.
Wow¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
This is just insane. Would be difficult on an EXC already for an amateur

Hey Chris, hope all is well! Since you are the only person I know to ride the new 2023 ktm 890 adv R do you think the new fairing has eliminated the air buffeting?
I didn't get the chance to do any highway riding but it feels better to me. Its never going to be a gold wing though

@@AZ_Baggin try street throttle response in Rally mode, it's more forgiving. I normally run between tc 1 and 5 on the Rally slip.
A group of the @Heavyenduro guys and @Cameladv did this trail earlier in the year. It doesn't disappoint that's for sure.
Most humans wouldn't attempt walking on that trail! Kudos.
Thanks!
Jeez Chris!
Does someone knows wich helmet is he using looks great, kind of airoh but not sure
"Fuckin' dick." Best line of the whole video haha
Welcome to my backyard.
RIDEHARD
Seriously, 🤯
“You’ve given your air carb a little tickle up there mate” What? “You’ve bent your exhaust a bit.” Hahahahah
Couple of DB darks after that ride
You need to watch the video 🍻
bloody hell
"Fucking dick" lol
I agree 😂😂😂
Oh my gwad
Did he get a hole in his gas tank? And have you ever got a hole in the gas tank due to being so low?
Was wondering the same. It appeared at 1:56 there was definitely some kind of fluid on the ground? Wonder if they switched bikes after this?
What was your gearing for this ride?
Stock, lower would have been better. I normally use one smaller up front.
@@ChrisBirchNZ Thanks for taking the time to answer
Funny nose. Interesting trail
ADV bikes will go wherever you have the testicular fortitude to take them. Problem is, how do you continue to ride with such big balls.
Maybe that's why adv riders stand up all the time?
So when do we see 5 Miles of Hell
You guys are crazy…
890 in Chris hands is like 500 excf😃
