Lol Mohawk is such a good daddy. He always makes sure his cubbies eat before the lionesses are allowed in and he lets them crawl all over him before he says enough 🤣🤣.
This is Mohawk as in the Avoca Coalition. There’s 3 brothers, Mohawk, Blondie, and Dark Mane. Mohawk and Blondie are together majority of the time and their brother Dark Mane spends most of his time with the Telemati Pride. The videos I have seen of the 3 boys with their cubs show them being a lot more patient with their cubs compared to other dominant males and their cubs. There is a video of Mohawk, Blondie, Nhukahuma lionesses and their cubs on a buffalo kill and Mohawk has no problem eating with all the cubs around him but the minute one of the lionesses tried to return to the buffalo to feed he wouldn’t let her come near the kill. Growled swiped and chased her away but no problem at all with the cubs eating. It’s actually pretty endearing to see how he is with their cubs....it’s on RUclips so if you can find it you should watch it.
What an incredible time spent watching these lions. I think those dads deserve an award for patience and tolerance! 😁 Ty for a great compilation of the best moments.

Lionesses are so respectful, they know when to take care of their babies, when cubbies were small, they will interfere if old siblings play rough with them, but now they don’t do that anymore.amazing
I loved this sighting! The cubs playing all over Mohawk was truly adorable. He was quite tolerant for awhile, then told them enough was enough with a snarl and a growl. The cubs are getting on everyone's nerves, it would seem. 🤣💕🦁💕
I really never would have thought that Mohawk was such a patient father but he has been amazing with all of his cubs. I’ve seen videos of him feeding right next to an itty bitty cub of his with zero problems but the minute one of the lionesses came up for a bite he wouldn’t allow her near the carcass...
This pride is just so impressive as these special moments occur. Nkuma ladies beautiful and awesome moms. Avoca boys are always reinforcing and patient daddies. Cubbies growing up so fast. 3 more additions to family now. Quite the large pride. Simply gorgeous. Sadness overload for lost cubbie but they always stray behind. Prayers they make it to proud adults. Great footage ty my friend. 👍😎
Tolerant fathers. For all this time we thought males lost their manes due to stress etc but now we know who’s guilty: a gang of energized cubs. Incredible sightings. They live such unpredictable lives, so these moments you enjoy to the fullest. Just a relaxing pride with happy playful cubs. Sad to see the ninth cub is missing.

Thank you! But i had no surgery, only several medical examinations and tests. Last monday they took pictures. (fluorescence angiography) Unfortunately, they still don't know the cause, so no treatment is possible.

I like your comment. Growing up in a plain, but comfortable house and with 1 land line telephone was great. My parents worked hard to grow lots of food: corn, potatoes, onion, cabbage, to name a few. There was the following trees: apple, plum and walnut. Also a wild plum orchard. I would love to return to the family homestead, but safety and health issues would make that extremely. difficult.

I just love how all the grown lions can be so gentle with their babies. It's hard to believe watching them play with all the little ones that in a split second they could be running across an open field to kill an animal for food. It's even more impressive when their dad is there with them. As everyone knows male lions will kill any cubs that don't belong to them. I think it's great to see how tolerant he is when it's his own cubs.
