I love the modifications you've made (very good quality and details), but the basic Lidl stand is very poor and yes it bends a little on longer distance (e.g. >2 cm), especially aside. It's due to a gap between big rod and the clamp when pushing down. I still don't know the solution for that, maybe two push handles on both sides of the clamp to equally push down.
