Seeing how you get up to speed at 10:00 makes me see why you treated it the way you did. My jaw dropped to the floor.
Tedward out here doing the Lord’s work
Let the Church say Amen.....
Lmaoo
Amen
ABSOLUTELY!
' good driving bud
The "ticking everything" spec
insane how quick these are appose to the quietness of it's jet of an engine you'd really just hear the rigorous wind rushing by as you're being passed by this elegant machine. the engineers behind this did amazing. props to all the engineers out there, especially you tedward 🤙 great video
A GT2 RS Tedward video with some coffee is a pretty good start to a Saturday morning.
And yes, much better spec than the previous one, but to each their own.
Lol that's me right now.
Not a fan of the gloss wood details on the interior or the light coloured wheel and vents.
Woodgrain in a GT2 RS feels as appropriate as two-way adjustable carbon bucket seats in a Maybach.
@@smiffyLevel6agreed. the white wheel felt off
@@vg6762🤣🤣🤣
This must be the most troll-speced porsche ever. Top of the performance line, yet with wood and colourful interior. I love every bit of it.
Those black interiors and carbon shifter wont give you any performance and they look so dull and alike...
Digging the overall spec on this, especially that interior. The wood's surprisingly nice and meshes well with the rest. The wheels clash just barely with the carbon tones, but I can at least see why the owner went with the matching paint. Props to the owner for going with a spec of their own desire!
As for that 3.8L biturbo flat-6, it sounds like a lower-pitched naturally aspirated engine to me, aside from the subtle turbo whistle. I can really appreciate it for having a character all its own. Rather than comparing the GT3 and GT2, I appreciate them both for what they are and accomplish.
My Tesla Plaid , Smokes Everything 😮
@@johnnyh8731 and makes no noise and is shit to drive. Congrats
@@johnnyh8731until u corner it into a wall since its a boat

So crazy how the "special requests" note on the window sticker is more than a 992 Carrera S
Shout-out to Tedward for recognizing that a "This is why we can't have nice things" moment could happen when in a GT2RS. But there are still some QUALITY accelerations in this video. It would be a little frustrating to essentially be relegated to gears 1-3 on the street, especially given how quickly they come and go... A track day would be a MUST for this car.
Obviously it's no where near the calibre of this car, but this is exactly why I traded my 370Z in for an ND2 MX5. I just prefer being able to rev out an engine and shift more than two or three gears before breaking the speed limit.
@@Jake-im2lv That is awesome. I definitely know what you mean. When I had my IS 350 I felt it wasn't super fast, but chasing opportunities to rev it out was part of the enjoyment.
Well I'll be damned! Luxury-focused interior with wood trim included...in a GT2 RS?! Talk about an exotic build. Whoever ordered this car knew exactly what they wanted. Very nice!
Thanks, Tedward! \o_
The steering wheel color alone let's you know the guy isn't one to be messed with
I was going to say that the interior does not match the exterior or even the character of the car but everyone has their own taste... I would have gone lightest possible (no leather, no wood) alcantara in grey with time typical carbon and put the money in to tuning the engine, exhaust, suspension and brakes...
@@gambanteinodal1246 Exactly why I said, whoever ordered the car knew what they were doing, because it completely ignored the commonplace one would expect from such a model.
It may not make any logic or sense, bu it was what they wanted, and it's exactly what they got. 😁
@@Roddy_ZehTrue!
@@gambanteinodal1246back when the 720s configurator was up, I configured a 720s spider with all the lightweight/carbon fiber options and all the luxury/convenience options, it was the best of both worlds, i guess
Small correction: The track in the seat stitching that comes with the Weissach package isn't the Nürburgring, but rather the test track that Porsche uses to develop their cars in their development center in Weissach near Stuttgart in Germany, hence the naming :)
Awesome video!
Someone was real busy with the EM configurator. And it looks absolutely breathtakingly amazing
The content recently has been insane! Great job Tedward and shoutout to the homies who let you make videos on their cars!
Thank you!!
I'm usually one to prefer more conservative interior color options, but that nautical blue interior is absolutely gorgeous
I’ve never heard of nautical blue is this a special to order leather color I’m loving it
He surely can be confident no one else will have an interior spec like that. Unique, to say the least.
Bloody love the GT2 RS, this has the best spec interior ive seen on a GT RS and working for Porsche UK, I get to see some special spec'ed 911's but this is exquisite.
The way this car looks and sounds is *chefs kiss* what a nice spec😍 Loving the content, appreciate every Tedward upload❤️
This guy checked ALL the boxes, and probably even added some. All in all, a great spec.
Commenting to support my man Ted
I love this channel because he makes the cars the focus of the video and doesn't spend 20 minutes doing a glorified selfie.
That’s an amazingly specced car. Crazy aggressive on the outside and old school luxury on the inside.
It is terrible on the inside imo. Obviously, its all subjective. Great car in general tho...
It was all good till he opened the door
@@glidertastic5778I’m all for going more of a comfort/luxury styled interior, but the color choice is hideous. To each their own though.
@@dougrippe33interior is top spec to me. Loved the blue interiors on classic cars so seeing it in these cars is beautiful.
@@kennethsev7243 I’d have to see it in person and I’m sure it’s nice, I think a light or saddle brown would have been nice, with the exterior not a dark color and a light color on the inside would make it appear to open up into a match larger space than what’s actually there. Again, to each their own. I’ve definitely seen worse, so hideous was possibly a little too harsh of a statement.
I totally agree with you regarding straight pipes and such. Loud =/= good!
There is one in my city (in France) and we're so happy to see it in Cars&coffee every time, amazing spec too, same body paint as this one
Jesus… this interior is LITERALLY one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.
Great content as always
Waw, that 90's central console style is back.
I have to wait 8 months for my GT2 RS to come in🥲. But watching this makes me happy knowing it’s coming
The spec of this car is so stunning🥵, thanks Tedward for showing us around!
Enjoying summer, enjoying this video..
Wow what a insane spec. So awesome.
The turbo sound in these is unreal. Drove one on track in Vegas - the video doesn’t do it justice. Like a plane taking off each time you get over 4K rpm
Love these videos man!
Tedward brought my favourite car, Thanku tedward :)
nice upgrade on the camera quality wow ! 4k finally
What an interesting combo😂 Hardcore race car with leather interior and wood. Great video Tedward👍👍
dope ride dude. thanks for the trip.
Wow that interior!
Engine sounds beautiful 🔥❤
Overall like the spec of the car except for the white steering wheel. Yea, that will stay clean.
Actually I like the sound of this Turbo engine much more than the much heralded sound of the n.a. GT3 rs. This sounds more deeper and much more powerfull. Like it doesn't need to shout, it just knows what it can do. And those little pops and bangs from the turbo valves give it just that little edge of aggresiveness.
my thoughts exactly on this car.
beautiful spec the car is a monster!!!
I really like how the first gear basically revs out as if you were in neutral :D
interesting colors :)
even the fan vent !
beautiful content 🏎️💨😮💨
Spec is almost super sick. The wood trim & steering wheel is just a zonk. But, I’m not the one with a GT2 RS so, cheers! 😊
Great vid
I feel like you could drive this everyday for a year and the Engine Sound would still be the most beautiful thing
it sounds so good
There should be so many more cars with wood trim it's immensely cool!!
Goes so hard that the digital speedo can't keep up, pure madness!. Tedward out here doing the Lord’s work.
Love your videos and commentaries! Also, as a born & raised Massachusetts boy (regrettably now in DeSantisland), I really appreciate seeing familiar streets, highways, and countryside. Keep up the great work!
You have a great job one of my favorite cars to be sure. Not the interior I would have chosen that's for sure I feel like wood grain belongs in a luxury car and white steering wheel c'mon.
The steering wheel is definitely a statement piece!!
I would also spend 6 figures on customizing the interior no questions asked if i had the budget. I love this spec, especially the interior. Im tired of all carbon interiors.
The fans and the trim in the back come out so you can access the oil filter, belts, etc.
the leather in the frunk is such a flex!!!
"Those bits that will be constantly touched by grubby hands? Yeah let's make them out of white fabric."
But it's so pretttyyyy (thank God it isn't my car
Yea well if the guy paid almost $500K I imagine he can just swap out a new one if it gets really filthy. Surprised it wasn’t blue like the rest of the interior
I'm sure he wears gloves to go for a drive..
That is the most beautiful car ever created🔥
I just saw a GT2rs on the highway
They look so good❤
8:36 this road is so beautiful. Twisty road beside lake/river
Bro specced the wood trim in the track weapon. Zero fucks given😂
Thanks for blessing my eardrums.
That is an insane spec
Goes so hard that the digital speedo can't keep up, pure madness!
it can, it's just programmed to refresh the speed at a slow rate
@@jgibao Any idea why? I always though it was weak processor
godddd this spec is so good
It's definitely not the best sounding Porsche ever made, but once you start driving it, I doubt that matters much. This thing looks like a weapon from behind the wheel.
Steering wheel deathgrip on-point
Gorgeous
0:45 the "why suck"-package
Dude I can’t wait to see the new more expensive more capable more out of reach than ever GT2RS!
Thanks for the cool stickers Tedward!
Appreciate you picking them up!
EXACTLY. MONEY WELL SPENT! (PO: I would never get a brown wooden trim with this blue interior and definitely not a tan-colored steering wheel.) Plus, ON FACEBOOK, I SEE POSTS OF PEOPLE TRYING TO GET GREAT GAS MILEAGE ON THEIR MACAN, 911S, GTs, etc. It's unreal! Porsche was never and won't ever be for people who seem like penny pinchers and worry about how thirsty their Porsches are. It is mind-boggling to me.
I had a very jarring realization that 2018 was 5 years ago when you said, "Like the had on the Performante back in the day."
beautiful spec. never imagined seeing wood in a 2rs
dude the sterring wheel is so good
My dream car so amazing.
Don't understand how you end up for a PTS GT2 allocation en then spec it in a primair grey colour 😂. Interior is awsome tho!
My favorite car! A goal of mine to acquire in the near future! Love most of it. Interior is absolutely not for me though. A LOT going on in there! lol
This badass thing is PURE BEAUTY.....!
great video Great car you do realize when you blur the speed if you JJJUUUUSSSTTT look to the left you can still see the speed
Yeah well I left it for you to enjoy quietly 🤫
The interior looks amazing, though the exterior colour is really nice, but it’s exactly the same as my Moonwalk Grey MINI Cooper S is in the sun 😂. On the MINI it’s really depending on light conditions and I expect the Porsche to do the same due to all the particles in the paint
Duuuude this spec 😮😮
gt2rs sounds insane !
That interior, I’m not sure about the wood but holy is that interior special
this car is impressive
Fire 🔥
I would not spec the interior the way the owner did, but god damn it's still a sight to behold
The calmest the way you drive these mobile mortgages always baffles me.
I'd be shaking if given the keys to someone's 401K on 4 wheels
Such insane cars, I just wish they sounded as good as 996 and 997 turbo motord
This is the kind of car you drive with gloves
That thing accelerates like my fireblade. Insane!
I dunno what the haters are talking about - you drove that shit faster than I would have if it weren't mine.
Exactly!!! A car worth half a million dollars, I'm being very cautious,!
They are probably used to watching AutoTopNL
@4:25 "Much less social" IDK sounds like its saying Hi to me!
wow! 🔥
Hey Tedward, for your main face GoPro mount are you shooting in superview or wide? I can’t seem to get my GoPro angle to get as much of the steering wheel as you do. I’ll have to keep experimenting
Thank. You.
GT3 sound is as objectively better as anything could be haha… I wear earplugs while riding any sport bike but my Ducati 1299s with an akrapovic exhaust is pretty loud. But so is going 150-190mph haha..
i cant imagine how much crazier the 992 GT2 RS is gonna be. like the turbo s is already quick af with 650 hp
You need to go back to California to review these cars on their canyon roads. Was a lot more enjoyable to watch.
Cant wait to see the 992 GT2 in a couple of years
Probably sooner than you think 🤔
The Porsche engineer knew what there objective was
