I was in the market for a Scat but they are way too expensive. So I made my R/T into a Scat. Cammed,headers,cat back etc & now I have 444hp to the wheel. It’s getting a whole paint job this week & Hellcat wheels and tires. Paid for & everyone asks me about my car when I go anywhere. Chop Chop Chop brings everyone around. Now I have 519hp at the crank and I’m already thinking of a procharger.

I have Durango Rt and the engine is still a beast. I also have a Charger 392. To me, the 5.7 hemi is awesome.
I rented a rt in 2018 and it seemed so fast. 2020 I got a scat and last year I rented an rt and It felt very slow. Funny thing I rented a hellcat also last year and under 100mph it felt like the scat but after that it violently accelerates.

In most cases, if you are a builder and you like to build your cars, the 57 is the best V8 to build on with all of the hemi. It takes modifications and tuning better than any of the other hemi powered engines.
Arizona got all that dust too.. Make sure to keep your air filters clean. I lived in Phoenix for 5 years, trust me.. That dust is now joke on cars.

You won’t regret it , the sound of the hemi is definitely there plus from what I hear there are many options for upgrading the R\T.
I got a R/T to mod it and with simple bolt-ons I’m neck to neck with a scat with cheaper insurance and monthly payment

I recently got myself an r/t. Any tips or recommendations that you think would help me hold up with cats ?
@@FakersNowU if you want to hold up with cats it’s going to cost you a bit.. If you have the A8 you’ll need to switch the diff to a 3.09 get a better drive shaft my stock one broke on me before I even added power to it. Add LongTube headers with a 93 octane tune and transmission tune and oil catch can. You’ll need a supercharger with low boost on a stock bottom end but you’ll also want supporting mods for the supercharger like a better fuel pump and possibly a ice tank in the back to keep it cool

I found a 2019 scat for $34k but it has 47k miles on it , considering getting a 2022 R/T with 9k miles for the same price 🤔
