I'd like to introduce you to one more player type: the Music Maniac ♫ ♪ TL;DR version: 3 years ago, my friend *tricked* me (a non-anime watcher, non-gamer, non-gacha fan) into playing this game with the Windsong Lyre as bait because I love creative virtual instrument concepts. Literally just that. A f*cking lyre. And when I finally finished burning through the quests and levels like a madman, she told me the lyre was actually from a limited event a while back 💀 But now I'm still here, currently obsessed with the Fontaine soundtrack and playing them on my flute/kalimba/etc. until 3am on weekends...

I'm free to play (until Xiao one day finally gets a skin), but my account technically isn't because my friend sent me a $30 genesis crystal pack as a pick-me-up when my cat passed away at the beginning of the year. Apparently the pulls I did with them understood the assignment too, got Light of Foliar, PJWS, and Xiao's C1 out of that. If that wasn't a pick-me-up, I don't know what is!
As a new player, I just want people to help me. Like when I'm in the middle of fighting they want to join and just let them, I don't really care whether they take my stuff or not. I'll just say to them send help idk how to find THAT GUY's (Joel) FATHER. I just rage quit finding his father.
Used to be F2P, changed to a religious BP only around 1.6 not for the primos/wishes, but for of all the resources and mats I constantly need to upgrade characters. I currently have 33 chars maxed and still have 9 more to complete. The Seelie mat tracker says I still have 147 days worth of Resin to max the ones I'm working on, and there's definitely gonna be more once Neuvilette and others release. Please send help, thank you. Edit: Ended up getting both Dehya and Neuvillette in my pulls, then Portable Power Saw and realized the stars were aligning for Burgeon Dehya (Neuv was always gonna be my Burgeon driver). Dehya is now fully maxed, just gotta do lv 8/9 talents for Neuv, then back to the other characters I've been building. The fun never ends!!!

i''m the ex-hater and this discription is incredibly accurate. i never hated anime but i never loved it either and was pretty sceptical about the game. i heard about it many times and finally decided to download it just a year ago. now i still have tons of content to catch up on
Both: -EX hater. Kept avoiding due to a number of bad gacha experiences but friend convinced me during 3.8 because it's an actual game that's playable on pc and has husbandos. and -Light spender. Went for Welkin+BP not even a month in. I do have good impulse control though. I like seeing my fate numbers climb up and saving always guarantees my favourite characters. ✨
A meta player once was really mean to me in co-op, so I don't like them very much- Although I appreciate the builds they upload to RUclips, without those videos my account would be trash, lol
im the ex-hater except i wasnt a hater, my computer and phone just didnt run genshin when it first came out and had to see everyone having fun playing it without me :( and now i have a better pc so i started playing it finally... and yes im still sad i missed all the banners and events...
