Using Ruu’s Lullaby for Inazuma is amazing. That being said Golden apple archipelago people are this, “You yearn for a simpler time. A time before shield breaking monsters, long stretches of desert (based on everyones hatred for Sumeru), and just like the best summer of your childhood, it slipped past you like the wind. How did it feel to return the archipelago but it just didn’t hit the same? Yeah buddy… move on.”
rip to the archipelago- it will be missed...
So right the first Golden Arcepelego was so rich and magical other than the ending was kind of a let down. The 2nd time was super meh. I did enjoy learning more about Fisch and Mona though. Kazuha just felt like an extension of his story quest. And yes I left one out because she's might as well just be an NPC that shows up every now and then in events.

Natlan could easily be "You are that 1 out of 8 total genshin manga readers. You studied every single pixel of Vanessa art just to barely assume how would their god look like"
Ngl genshin manga was somewhat fun to read.
Kinda sad that it got discontinued
You got me exactly there tho
i can name the color code of every single one on her
we are desperate
Also Hi3 players be hoping for MURATA HIMEKO edit: spelling
i know that i’m gonna make myself love snezhnaya, not because i love the fatui, but because i’m a slav.
You are based for that honestly- y'all are cool
so real, i'm mongolian so i feel it too lowk
When Snezhnaya comes out, Imma be opening a bottle of Rakija
Enkanomiya is my favorite region for a multitude of reasons. There's so many tragic backstories, from how the civilization fell to the shades' pasts. The music emanates so many feelings, from loneliness and longing to melancholy and peacefulness. And the architecture/platforming, by archon was it fun to explore. Ever since that location was released, I made that glowing-wall circle near the leftmost teleporter on the Serpent's Heart my wishing spot (and I'd say it's made my luck somewhat improve). I sure hope we get a place like Enkanomiya in the future.
Also, Enjou did nothing wrong.
enkanomiya honestly feels like a different game sometimes, its honestly kinda refreshing
Enjou is that one guy who gives you everything he's not supposed to give
i mostly like the snakes and the blue and the dragons- also the unagi, I farmed for weeks to get 7 of those unagi for my serenitea pot. I was incredibly dissapointed that they don't let you have bathysmal vishaps and most of the enkanomiya structures in the teapot.
My 2nd favorite, mostly because of the amazing event in it, i forget the version it was on
As a Sumeru lover I can comfirm i love suffering
It is certainly a passtime 😃
I can also confirm and I felt so called out yet at the same time. Mad respect-
But the reward after suffering is so good and that desert and the dunes, it's lore !!! 😭 so beautiful
@@FarookKMOON FACTS 🗣
I absolutely loved sumeru’s archon quest, character designs, the music (ESPECIALLY IN THE DESERT) and the rainforest
As a desert lover I feel called out, but I just love the characters and vibes of the regions (except for the Pari one that gave me a headache), it makes me feel like I'm traveling through a mystical desert or I'm Lawrence of Arabia. I just wish the underground map was added in 3.0 instead of 4.0 because it saves me a lot of time now.
THE WAY THE PARI WAS MY FAVORITE OF SUMERU BFGBHJVFJH
@@twigvt Sumeru was amazing for people who love desert regions like me. I think it’s the most beautiful place in the game, only Fontaine comes close for me. The Sumeru and Fontaine characters are also way better than the Liyue and Inazuma characters imo
Different strokes for different folks ig 💀
Imo the Pari region is the easiest desert region to explore
@@-Theo-sumeru desert was the best part for me but i absolutely cannot stand sumeru forest
I picked up the khvarena of good and evil quest on accident and it started out fun but now it's annoying 😩 I like keeping her around as my pet tho lmao
She really did. not. miss. a single point for Enka. While I love any place that gives me massive lore (yes, including the desert), Enka was the first to give the biggest lore bomb (for me since I started playing in 1.6 so I missed when Dragonspine was new) and is incredibly nostalgic for me to a time when I could spend literally all day exploring, reading, and playing quests. Yes, I’ve been watching Ashikai as long as I’ve been playing; yes, I love hoyo-mix’s work; yes, I miss Enjou so damn much. Enka also just _feels_ like lore, the way only a few openly explorable places after have felt, like the deeper parts of the Chasm Undergrounds, the Hall of Truths in Deshret’s Mausoleum, the Eternal Oasis, and the vision of catastrophe inside of the Book of Esoteric Revelations.
The ??? place yeahhhh. I love it so much too
Your talk on Natlan has me reflecting on everything that's actually said about Natlan in game and in other sources. Just off the top of my head...
1. Vanessa, the first Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, was descended from Natlan people.
2. There's an NPC in Inazuma City who says that Inazuma's hot springs are an intentional emulation of Natlan's natural hot springs.
3. In either 3.7 or 3.8, a new quest was added in the Sumeru region where the quest giver gives you a general idea of Natlan's geographic location. ('Across Sumeru's desert')
Really, it feels like our first big thing about Natlan is going to come next patch. We should have our series of questions with Furina at the end of the 4.2 archon quest, and she should give us a basic description of Natlan and a very broad description of the Pyro Archon.
i think there's a bp weapon description thats based on a tribe in natlan (?)
nerve's drip marketing mentions someone from natlan i think
You forget the Talking Stick. It's extremely minor and within a weapon description. It's one of the newer battlepass weapons. It's vague but it gives some more room to theorise about Natlan.
But I agree with you. Until 4.2, then.
Chasm is so overhated its insane, every single last one of my friends hates that place, i got a friend that disliked the chasm so much she decided not to do the story and to this day hasnt done it.
fair enough hahaha
Why I love every region:
Mondstadt: calm and lore
Dragonspine: I love mountains, also Albedo event supremacy (and lore)
Liyue: very cool rocks (I hated exploring it tho tbh) (+lore)
Chasm: deep ass lore (rip Katarina and Zhiqiong) (and Halfdan)
Inazuma: purpel and lore (also the world questlines are just *dissipates*)
Enkanomiya: coolest place fr no cap Enjou did nothing wrong (and deeplore)
Sumeru: my frame rate is dying and I'm sad (Jeht is best girl) (also the pari and the aranara are cool) (Deshret😔) (also every archon quest is a banger)
Fontaine: fr*nch (the Narzissenkreuz questlines rule) (and archon quest bang even harder than Sumeru) (also steampunk xiejsosixjekxjs) (very cool very nice) (also melusines are cute) (deeplore gang)
Natlan: this one idk but it'll probably be cool
Snezhnaya: all Fatui are smexy
Khaenriah: goddamn deeplore hell yea
Natlan lover here. We’ve actually gotten some lore recently. And we’ve known about Mare Jivari for a while now. There are scraps of you look for it. Although I will admit there is not much XD
I loved the desert, I thought I was going to hate it but I loved feeling like an archaeologist exploring all the hidden tombs and secret passageways, and learning about the long lost civilization there. I was committed to opening every locked door and puzzle there.
I think my least favorite part of Teyvat is the area right above the underground chasm (though I quite like the underground section), it's a nightmare to navigate with all the jutting rocks and not enough interesting things there, it's just a big bowl made of rock.
When I was at low AR the mountain quest made me rage so much (where you had to align the light so you could get to the island in the air)
Now I feel nostalgic about it. I kinda miss the times when I didn't have enough stamina for literally ANYTHING. I swear I fell so many times from mountains, when I was trying to glide, when I was swimming, I died every time. I kinda felt stupid for dying over everything but looking back, it's just funny to me. Liyue did a good job with making people suffer AND enjoy the game more 🗿
Yes yes liyue is a CULTURED suffering- until you get locked out of co op from a quest
@@twigvtman, f those 3 tower challenges, i spent 3 weeks to build somewhat fitting team for last fight one, 1.0 was rough
Am I the only one who actually really, *really* loved the underground exploration of the desert? 😭 My Hypostyle desert was 100% even before the underground viewing map update, i just loved going around and finding and solving puzzles and unlocking new pathways... Then again, I also loved the Chasm the most when it came out, so I probably just love confusing places to explore? IDK
I loved the desert region of Sumeru too, especially desert of hadramaveth 😭 my desert areas are more explored than my rainforest area (all desert regions are ~90% explo while my rainforest is only ~70-80%)
@@dawn.-. vice versa for me. rainforest's maxed out and the desert is... the desert. its difficult to navigate through that maze and explore coz of all the locked pathways which are confusing to find after you left them behind till another time. its a freakkgn headache dude. cant stand the feeling of fear that you are missing smth and just running around in circles over and over again because of it, getting lost in one second. this is madness. imagine how looking for all the hidden stuff underground would feel like for me. thats a mess
@@carefree17you should really try to play some old games. you people get too used to game devs hand holding it's kinda sad ;;;
@@senu. idk what u mean. i just don't like desert. hey, everyone's different. not seeing this is what really sad. and I'm aware how old games look like. what should you do is shut up, I was just sharing my experience with other players, I didn't want to offend anyone.
@@senu. those 'people', are they in the room with us right now? otherwise 'you people' is not how you address one single person, I'm afraid.💀 at least not if you want to look sane
I knew she couldnt miss me on this video, and damn she called me out so hard with the Enkanomiya section..... The book that changed it all Before Sun and Moon....
a classic- consider yourself judged B)
Dragonspine was the region I made a beeline for when I started playing solely because of the glider. I blasted through every single Dragonspine related achievement and it became my first 100% explored area because of how much I love it. I still visit it from time to time because I love the snow, atmosphere, and ost! I'm probably among the very few that have never struggled with the sheer cold mechanic, too. Never lost a character to it, and it's easily manageable, imo!
Fontaine, though, is by far my favorite region because of the *underwater exploration.* Underwater exploration in games is a core part of my childhood, Endless Ocean and Endless Ocean Blue World were the reason why I love the ocean and underwater exploration as much as I do now, and Fontaine adding that to Genshin? Instant hype, that was all I needed. I didn't need the story, the characters, anything, just give me that water and I'm more than satisfied!
how could you got every achievement if didn't die from cold
They did the water so well too :0
I feel called out by the dragon spine comments :) Extereme cold both in Dragon Spine and in Signora boss fight is honestly one of my favourite machanics in the game, and the soundtrack is just so fantastic, everytime I visit, I just think about ranni from elden ring saying "to a cold and gentle place"
You soulslikes players and dragonspine....
@@twigvt pls believe me when I say it has the best enviormental story telling in the whole game😭

Fontaine is me to a T.
ADHD person who got super burnt out by like the second desert update. Loved the new character designs (and the otters ofc duh) and stayed when I got that sweet dopamine rush from being able to bounce from one simple puzzle to the next in the overworld.
You forgot one class of Sumeru enjoyers: Dottore stans. We spent so long digging up all the scraps of his lore that we learned to love the region in pure self-defense.
I am so sorry- I see you no differently from the others
Oh, I'm not defending myself, believe me.
But there is also Dottore haters who wants revenge for Collei and Scaramouche, who did the same research as you 😆 knowing everything about him to fight back!
@@FarookKMOON If we get a Dottore boss fight, Collei and Scara will absolutely be the ones beating on him every week.
I like dragonspine because of the vibe there. It's snowy , transcending, and beautiful. The music is so calming, amidst the slaughtering of hilichurls and the draining hp bar.
Dragonspine, Enkanomiya and the desert are truly the most locations of all times (I love them sm)
So true
The Underground Chasm : "am I a joke to you?"
Idc what anyone says Sumeru (both desert and rainforest) absolutely clears everything that came before it. Fontaine is amazing too, but Sumeru is still the best. I can’t handle being in Inazuma or Liyue for more than 2 mins without wanting to close the game
I agree
The chasm itself was such an experience for me personally! The lore with the upsidedown castle and the curse of kheanri'ah (I hope I spelled that correctly..) and the existence of calestias nail in the chasm too! And the landscape was such a breath of fresh air honestly, the dark, almost melancholic vibe of the chasm really pulled me in, with so much areas to explore it was pretty much heaven. Even now, after so many versions I still visit the chasm to walk tightrope on the ropes inside the chasm for fun. (and I've gotten quite good at it too)
I like Sumeru for the overgrown plants and mushrooms, the gorgeous flora and the cute passive mobs that roam around. The Aranara quest was tedious but I enjoyed it greatly, because I didn't pressure myself to finish it within a set amount of time, and just finished it randomly. I also like it for an adorable fox man, his tcg loving boyfriend, and a certain malewife architect with blond hair who carries around an absolutely massive bakery.
I like inazuma precicly because it's so hostile in the start, it's you who are healing it as you explore and do quests. There is a connection between you and the world tht is lacking in every other region not to mention it's intimate connection with it's archon. Like I don't think there is a better region tht tells about it's god than inazuma.
the second enkanomiya's part came on and you mentioned ashikai, i was done for. i swear i religiously watch ashikai's vids. either way, at first i wasn't really all that interested in enkanomiya (it literally took me a full year to even think about unlocking it), but when i finally got to it... the soundtrack knocked me on my back, picked me up and carried me to bed bridal style. i LIVE for enkanomamamia's soundtrack. it fuels my soul. not to mention the entire atmosphere of that place, it's just amazing. whenever i want to relax and just run around for a while with no true goal, i go to encacanomamamia. i love that place. it's heavily underrated.
I love Enkanomiya for the special lore and music, the map is pretty straight forward and easy to explore too (the only problem is light switching animation...)
And fontaine is my second fav because of the scenery, I really love the the mountains, lake, flowers combined, it feels warmer and more moist than mondstadt
The description of the dragonspine is so exakt... I love albedo. I love the music and the lore. I love the cold thing and the wings. And i do the big boar every time i can
Honestly I loved the desert quests and everything it's pretty wholesome
"Likely illiterate" i think we have enough evidence for a diagnosis at this point

I would say that so far my favorite nation is Fontaine for the simplest reasons of having an amazing soundtrack, scenery and also being a chill place to explore. However, Im one of those who like the fatui but because they’re interesting, well written characters with deep backstories (I know other characters have deep backstories and they’re good guys) but the fact they turned into “villains” intrigues me to know exactly why and understand their pov and motives.
In conclusion, i BELIEVE my favorite nation overall should be either Khaenri’ah or Snezhnaya (but fontaine will also be up there, hard to chose ngl)
p.s Regarding lore the top 5 people i recommend for anyone to look up is: Zhongli, Xiao, Childe, Scaramouche and Dottore (even tho we don’t know much about him yet!)
there was a guy who made a vid abt natlan lore based on the description of the weapon ‘The Beating Stick’. He took a thorough look at the linguistic and cultural background of the weapon description. It was really cool
The Chasm is probably my favourite region i think, Katherina's quest literally made me cry and honestly all my favourite fatui are common npcs. I love the lore and how it gets more eerie the deeper you go. Also love that giant mushroom, gotta be one of my favourite implied aliens.
yes i did come out of burnout for fontaine how did you know-
that desert truly dehydrated me man
I know you because I AM you...
Desert was unironically my favourite area to explore due to the soundtrack and puzzles. Its just fun to run around there with my little Cyno and explore in the sand. I could do it for hours and am sad that I've 100% it.
i love fontaine bc
-underwater mechanics/exploration
-art deco architecture
-steampunk stuff
-france
-the lore
-the melusines
Dude loved the Chasm cuz it was the one place they paint the Fatui in a different light. Its like if you like the fire nation soldiers from ATLA, in the end they're mostly just people and as human as the rest of us. Plus the eerie vibe of it all is immaculate😌
Yes i suffered in dragonspine but that place just stuck to me. The ambience is just amazing. Ive spend so much time there just walking around or just stare at the screen. 😅
It’s just everything but the perilous trail quest is so long for chasm💀
As a fontaine lover, yes, I am in the verge of quitting genshin for a while because I am burned out and I also have really bad attention span. This is so accurate 🥹
I hated the aranara quest so much
I spent months on it, just to have to search up how to continue it to the mailbox portion,
only to find a room full of chests that I can't open.
I found all 76 or something aranara, and did the quest to get the monster from inazuma to appear, and I fought it more than 5 different times in the correct order in varying levels of difficulty, and I still wasnt able to get the three main chests to open.
I hate it so much
One of the reasons Fontaine is my favorite nation (Tied with Khaenri'ah) is because the underwater area feels extremely nostalgic for me. I used to play this game called Endless Ocean almost religiously as a kid and any kind of game where you get to swim around in a (detailed) underwater environment just feels so comfy for me now. Even the music underwater vaguely reminds me of Endless Ocean at times.
I fell in love with liyue the moment i experienced the 3 birds quest in the mountains, it was an irreplacable moment, then the first lantern rite quest sealed my fate, Liyue will always be my favorite region. The music, the views, the vibes, is all just chefs kiss
honestly i havent seen inazuma yet since im still at liyue (we are talking world level 3.) but i have seen sumeru and i absolutely ADORE it. its just the fact that i love nature in general and seeing the monsters i felt so bad killing them they're so cute
okay true yea inazuma forward we get incredibly cute mobs vbfbhjv
Getting called out with the sumeru one lmao
I enjoyed while I was literally bed ridden for an entire summer due to injuries that kept me from doing anything
I haven’t really picked a place that’s my favorite I think the one thing I’ll like about a region depends on how much ascension material I could farm for a certain character I’m building
Omg why is that so accurate? I love Snezhnaya and I literally made an OC that resides in the Fatui.
I’m hoping for Snezhnaya to have nice Russian aesthetics.
1:18-2:04 i feel called out on so many levels... well i'm not going ferral for albedo nor do i really hate pallad, but still... i love the music, the lore, i enjoy how much differently you have to engage in a battle and how you need to think before you make your next move, and i also like the pressure you feel while fighting, because it's just a fresh breath of air every time from the old and boring "just toying with the enemies" mood you get set to when fighting enemies on the rest of the map. other than that it's the perfect area for me to go to and relax inside my cave.
going to enkanomiya for the first time is an experience ill never get back
this was pretty funny being someone who loves dragonspine, inazuma and enkanomiya! i just love the vibes and lore of dragonspine, and i have a lot of good memories bc of dragonspine getting the most banger events. inazuma is a region i used to hate a lot for how difficult and dreadful it was to get through, but idk, over time i've come to sort of appreciate it a lot more. and then enkanomiya is the absolute best region in the game. the best lore, the best aesthetics and the best soundtrack easily!
enkanomiya + khaenri'ah fan here ^-^ your take is very accurate, i am a diehard dain stan and am a completionist lore player. i am also a coward who was TERRIFIED of going into enkanomiya and completing the region bc the abyss monsters scared me.... i am even more fearful of khaenri'ah. but I'll do anything for a scrap of lore (like fighting a bunch of random dudes in the Chasm to unlock a door, etc.)
As a liyue and chasm enjoyer, i love the music, the environment, and the lore of the entire liyue area
I fully admit that the desert is my favorite and I waited for it for with great anticipation.
My top three locations, in order, are:
1) Liyue
2) Enkanomiya
3) Khaenri'ah
Needless to say, I'm a story/lore player. Yes, I loved Enjou. Yes, I speculate theories about Kaeya and how he might be related to Anfortas rather than Chlothar. Yes, meeting the Pari excited me because I was unexpectedly rewarded with Dainsleif lore.
I've had a theory since 2.5 that Teyvat exists in a time loop. That's why the abyss sibling insists you must finish your journey before they'll talk to you; that's why Aether is always shown as the protagonist in promotional material even while Hoyoverse claims both twins are equally canon. You and your twin won't be able to break out of the endless cycle until the loop comes to completion, just as the Sacred Sakura has always been there as long as Miko can remember. You won't change the past. Aether's past is Lumine's future. And vice versa. And that's also why your twin is not a descender: you are actually the same entity as your twin and have been all along. After all, before arriving in Teyvat, you've never been separated before. The world registered you both as one entity.
my faves r mondstadt and fontaine and its insanely accurate. i just wanna be held. fontaine quests are so gentle compared to the other regions (STARES AT THE DESERT AND INAZUMA.) i was like “that was it?!”
My favorite region is the Chasm because I joined during Inazuma and the chasm was such a breath of fresh (must dusty dank cave) air. The environments and the soundtrack are amazing and the upside down city go brr. When you said Khaenri'ah I did a double take 'cause I didn't know that was an option and nah I'm just a Dain fan. I only play for the lore. We know so little about it. Every time he does his lil annual appearance we get more questions than answers. It's great.
I don't love to suffer, but I often do and think things that brings me suffering. 🙃
I mostly like Sumeru because of my extreme obsession with Mesopotamia (which includes Sumer, the land of the Sumerians). But I like the playable character designs a lot. And i just really appreciate the light teleporty things (I can't remember what they're called rn). It makes exploration and travel so much faster. I really liked the Archon quests, and strangely enough, the Aranara quests.
You should do a "what your favorite faction says about you" video
Can confirm, still holding a grudge towards Pallad 3 years later
me too bestie me too
I could get lost in the chasim but i'm scared of being stuck underground
valid fear
I'll be honest.
Liyue's lore fascinates me most. Mondstadt's aesthetic is my jam, Fontaine has a lot of my favorite characters, and Sumeru had my absolute FAVORITE archon quest.
But I'll be honest. ...If Inazuma was torched? Would NOT be sad about it. Most things about it make me want to run for the next boat off those islands.
She really called out my completionist namecard collector chasm loving ass💀
get wrekt nerd /j
i love both mondstadt and sumeru equally and for the exact same reason THEY ARE GORGOUS TO LOOK AT.
As a die-hard liyue fan I feel appreciated :,)
"when your one pyro character targets everything EXCEPT the torch" tell me you explored dragonspine with xiangling without telling me you explored dragonspine with xiangling(its okay i did too)
Before Sumeru I had near 100% exploration in all three regions (plus the Chasm!).
I only found out the desert has a "beneath" in 4.1 when I was cleaning out my quest log. Yikessssssss
Liyue+Chasm for me. I don't really see the Chasm as separate to Liyue. Close second would be Fontaine mainly because of the underwater exploration.
The only reason that I have Inazuma stuff at mostly 100% first before the other regions is because I want that annoying place to be out of the way ASAP so I can peacefully explore the rest without its shadow hanging over me. I _despise_ thunder spheres.
I was surprised how different Enkanomiya is from Inazuma though. It was my very first 100%, accidentally, since I thought it would be worse, but it turned out pretty short and fun.
honestly very based B)
I love mondstadt cause it has the best characters, especially jean, and there’s so much hidden lore in mond that NOBODY pays attention to. Windblume is not the only thing we have because EVERYTHING ties back to Mondstadt, we don’t even have the entire region! We are far from done in Mond.
I don’t like shenznya because of the fatui I like it since winter and snow in general is so pretty and I would just love to see a city in the snow! Amazing video btw
I WAS CALLED TF OUT with enkanomiya omffggg she even got the “uhm AKSHUALLY 🤓☝🏻” part right 😭😭😭😭😭 and sumeru too
Sumeru is about being methodical and resourceful. The less you are, more the suffering
Enkanomiya was so fun to play through. Yeah there’s no voice cut scenes or anything fancy but the atmosphere is peak. I’ve always enjoyed Genshin puzzles, and that area was just filled with amazing puzzles that were so fun to solve. and I really really like how you had to basically jump off part of the islands to find the rest of it. literally trust fall. Anyway, I’ve never had more fun exploring a region then when enka came out. I 100% in like the first week and then we got the event I was excited to go back. Just sucked that it wasn’t good 😢
But yeah best area especially when you just wanna chill by yourself and ignore all coop invites lol😂😂
I'm shocked you didn't say "If you like Sumeru you are an utter completionist and psycho, get away from me PLEASE."
I like Fontaine because funny magic man teehee, though honorable mention to Inazuma for Ruu's Quest and Dragonspine for it's Quest too they have my most memorable sob sessions to their name !
As a chinese, liyue just has this connection i feel, as well as the fact that we met my favourite 5* (kazuha) and one of my favourite 4* (beidou) there so thats just ++++
Okay I know you said it’s an excuse but Sumeru before the desert came out? Yes. (Also I guess I’m biased cause of the archon quests and cast in Sumeru, I just love them :D)
after seeing those lore videos i kind of started avoiding killing hillichurls if i dont absolutely have to, i feel baddddd, it hurts me how easy it is to kill them so ill just let them be, its kind of an emotional thing to see those hilichurls dancing together and sitting next to each other by the sea and the sunset or sum js for me to kill them haha
Natlan now has one piece of lore in-game!! the new BP claymore "the talking stick," after 3 years of nothing outside the manga we got something!!
I really liked Sumeru (the forest part and second desert expansion) and Enkanomiya, but so far Fontaine is probably my overall favourite. The exploration isn’t quest locked and fun, the puzzles are alright, the world quests are as good as Sumeru ones in terms of story but way better structured and paced, also the best Archon Quest as of now. Also Vivianne and Ninianne my beloved, best bosses in the game
Me too!
I just really like snowy areas :')
Natlan : They have Dragons... thats all i need...
I can't pick just one region, so I'd say it's a mix between Inazuma, Enkanomiya and Snezhnaya
Inazuma for it's scenery, soundtracks, quests, lore, puzzles, and the overall vibe. Enkanomiya for almost all the same reasons but also the creepy, unsettling atmosphere of the place. Snezhnaya, well... I love cold, I'm Russian, and I enjoy the lore behind the Fatui and I am curious about how they'll develop the nation and the plot, and I would absolutely love to see Tsaritsa
If your favorite region is Natlan: You are still traumatized by the "Final Lesson", don't lie
8 love sumeru because of the characters, story and landscape. I loved the desert because I felt like an archeologist.
so accurate. lol i love how you didn't mention a single archon, even thought that's probably the reason I like Liyue most. I WILL KISS THE SOIL THIS MAN WALKED ON.
just kidding. i really do like him though. As a character of course.
Deserts are my favorite biome, so Sumeru just got better and better with each expansion for me. 😅
That said, yes I have completed the entire aranara questline. I burned out on Genshin, came back mid Fontaine, and instead of jumping on the exciting new story: I decided to finish Sumeru almost entirely. That means everything in the deaert +including the sealed obelisks, the aranara, the genie, the aranara...)
when i first started dragonspine i tried to just climb the mountain looking
Didnt we all fjfhbdbd
Might aswell do a tier list loved to not loved:
Chasm
Enka
Desert (i like quests ok)
Dragonspine
Rainforest sumeru
Mondstat
Liyue
(Havent played fontaine enough to place it)
I haven't explored Sumeru and Fontaine yet, I like Inazuma cuz its ost is fire
i’m sorry but i hate the chasm as much as inazuma 😭😭 i honestly rlly don’t like dark areas cuz it makes me feel unsafe even when my characters are strong, that’s the whole reason i dont explore honestly, and also, i LOATHE sumeru, like the fricking long quests and feel like the desert will never stop expanding, thank god fontaine saved me. and that’s why fontaine’s my favourite, not only i love the diving feature, i really love the aquabuses and the quests are only a bit long but i am focused on reading most of the dialogues
We know Natlan has dragons now, so there's a reason to like it right there
LMAOOOOO My favorite region is specifically the desert of Sumeru!!! I was OBSESSED with all the temples!! Like I was literally disappointed when they added the layers to the map because not knowing where the fuck you are underground was part of the fun to me 😭😭😭
... wow...
@@carefree17does blind exploring scare you that badly ? you should play more games try the ones without a map
lore player & Enjou's fan indeed
i ACCIDENTALLY (let me be clear about that) got 94% exploration completetion 😭😭.. I also softlocked my enkinoymia uhh... Anyways, stan Liyue and Chasm
HOW DO YOU ACCIDENTALLY DO THAT
@@twigvt YOU THINK I KNOW??? 😭😭
As someone who managed to softlock themselves on FISHING and cannot fish for an eternity on that account, I can relate
@@NANFR-thatdude how high is that respawn timer? or is it invetory space- tell me it isnt inventory space....
Ehh, I love the rainforest a lot, but just couldn't get into the desert xD The only think I enjoyed in the desert was the quests with Jeht. But I completed all tha Aranara stuff 'cause they make me happy, and it was so much fun to accientally fall down holes and suddenly discover entire new pieces of map that I hadn't seen before. Also, looking for all the crumbs of Zandik lore 💖💖💖
Natlan is nice because it’s the only region that’s in it’s own little bubble, mostly separate from the rest of the fandom. There are very few Natlan fans, but that just makes it feel more like a small community.
…9 months left until it gets absorbed by the rest of the fandom…
I like it for the desert 🙃
