I used to consider myself an occasional smoker until i realized the 30 cigars i bought to last a month were disappearing in two weeks!!!
Facts😂
I'm getting there!
30 cigars a month is still a daily smoker, man 😂.
Dude same I bought 40 sticks like 2 weeks ago and I smoke about 2/3 of them already lol
😂
Driving home listening to your video, Stopped at a random Cigar shop, And picked up a champagne perdomo. That just happened to be on the shelf.
🙌
Thanks for your tip on using the V cut for torpedo cigars, I enjoyed a torpedo for the first time today. Previously I used the straight cut and the wrapper always unravels. The v cut is the way to go. Cheers 🍻
Saw that for the first time on this channel as well
I am just happy when someone when to the trouble to purchase a premium cigar for me. Might not something I’d usually smoke, but you’ll probably get a good cigar regardless. These are some good suggestions.
Yes, that Perdomo 10th anniversary is fantastic, and i agree Ashton is really top notch.
Mazz, you're my guy, but i love seeing Faccia alongside you in these vidz
Don't worry we can't keep him out of the studio at this point 😂
@holtscigars Well, that's great news 👌
I agree. They are a perfect duo
Every one of these cigars are on point. They were all my regular go-to smoke whenever the moment arise 🔥👍🏽
🙌
I used to buy myself samplers starting off on my journey. Now I'm thinking I should go back to the sampler path. ❤
Another excellent video and great suggestions!
On a separate topic, I would love to see a video on aged/non-aged cigar tobacco. Both could have excellent cigar selections to offer, but I think there is still a lot to learn from you on that!😊
Would love a video with both you guys discussing broadleaf.
La aroma
Ashton Maduro
Jaime Garcia
Tabernacle
Etc….
Man I wish Ashtons were available in the UK
I love the thought of the samplers. Excellent tip and as always, explained so that even I understand 😂
My twin brother and I had our birthday last week. He gifted me a box of AJ Fernandez New World Dorado’s. I had never had one before. My brother is a big fan of the AJ Fernandez stuff and decided to share something HE likes a lot with me. I usually smoke Padron natural 2000/3000, but I think the New Workd Dorado may be my new favorite cigar!
Awesome to hear, happy belated birthday!
Happy late birthday. I love all the New World. Try the New World Cameron.
Man, what would i give to enjoy a evening with you two 😁
I think all gift cigars should be in tubes. They stay fresh and reduce risk of damage. Also, aestetics. For a while, I was enjoying boxes of Makers Mark, which come in glass tubes. I always gave those out to anyone interested.
Helpful as always, thank you gents ☺️
Good Morning 😊 Awesome video👌🏽 Informative and educational 👏🏼 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Perdomo Champaign is a good one for a gift. ❤ can't go wrong.
Great video and selections, thank you.
It's also great to have a gift cigar for more everyday gift situations. I've had great luck in giving small tins of Davidoff Primeros as surprise gifts. They come in a variety of styles like natural, maduro, Nicaraguan, etc. For about $35 dollars you get SIX Davidoffs that are the perfect small size (4 1/8" x 34) for a quick 15-minute coffee break. And because they come in such a flat but sturdy tin they are a breeze to ship in a small envelope. There is not one person I gave this to who did not love the surprise of six Davidoffs or the delicious cigars.
Thanks for sharing!
Love it
This is wild I’m sitting here at home now smoking a Pedone 10th anniversary cigar one of my favorites just scrolling thru RUclips came upon this recently posted video love this channel
🙌👊
The only 2 brick and mortars here in Northern Ireland for some reason, don't keep Ashton's.. I feel like I'm missing out big time😭
First off love the videos. They have been very helpful getting into cigars. Thought it might be helpful if you add links to the cigars you are talking about to make it easier to find them. Thanks for the content!
Thanks for the kind words! Unfortunately we're unable to post links to RUclips due to their terms of service.
Ashton Cabinet..Always a great smoke... and consistent top shelf quality.
No doubt!
I give a lot of credit to Mr Levin and the Fuentes
Mazz you crack me up. Love your content but if I didn't know it, I might think you're in a relationship with the Ashton Rep!!! LOL. Keep creating great videos
sampler for sure, great value too.....
you know it 🙌
Hi Mazz, I’m a new occasional cigar smoker. My question is, does the spiciness of a cigar determine the strength of the tobacco? Love watching your videos.
Thanks.
Strength is determined by the Nicotine content.
Stronger tobacco in a cigar comes from higher up on the plant & it comes across as spicy. It has a higher nicotine level as well. Some people enjoy that flavor & some others avoid a spicy cigar. Taste is personal.
Ashton ESG is very good bruh.
I recently given this cigar as a gift. Mostly because i didnt want to share my L.A.D.C.!
I’d be fine if someone gave me that Noah’s Mill as a gift also 😊. Fantastic whiskey that goes great with cigars
You know it 😂
Before i seen his answer, perdomo champagne too wa smy thought
I do side jobs for a guy at work...he pays me in cigars sometimes...from 3 dollars to a couple of padrons...any cigar is a great gift...
well said 👏
Test for Holt's Cigar: Recommend me a cigar to give as a gift for someone who regularly smokes medium to medium+ strength cigar, enjoys flavour notes of Citrus/sweet fruit, walnut, coffee, musty, leather and earthy.
Ashton vsg
La aroma de Cuba baseline
Padron 64
@@PhilVogt6384 Good recommendations, although I will take out LADC Base it has more woody notes to it and Almond notes instead of walnut.
For the other 2 recommendations they were spot on, both are my favourites. (I described myself in the comment for gift 😆)
Hemingway Signiture: sweet fruit, nutty, musty, maybe even a little coffee. Also get brown sugar off this one(i know its not mentioned) One of my faves. Just bought a box
@@jackchuck4589 agree with the description, I would add Dry fruits Fig and raisin also Dates for sweet fruit, Almond (3/3) and Cashew (1/3) in nutty taste notes, good amount of sweet wood/cedar and Cinnamon too, I like the shape of this cigar.
Enjoy the box of this delight, A Solid purchase.
@@maverickskywalker5713 Ashton aged Maduro always gives me a fruity/raisin type taste.
First??
👏👏👏
Anthony l! I luv you, brotha! But how much is Ashton paying you? Lol!😅
I’ve stated this before. I don’t get paid to endorse any brands. I was always a huge fan of the Ashton brand so when I had the opportunity to work for their sister company which is Holts I jumped at the chance. We all have our go to & favorite brands. 2 of the most prestigious factories in the world make their product. Fuente & the My Father factory. Thanks for the love & hopefully you have a better understanding of my passion for Ashton. 👊🏽
If you can plan ahead take a picture of what's in the person's humador.
Good tip!
Send me a sample cigar....
Ashton are good but over priced. You can get same or better quality for less $$
Can you do a review on your own Holt Factory specials? in the sungrown please. :D Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.
