    Thanks for your tip on using the V cut for torpedo cigars, I enjoyed a torpedo for the first time today. Previously I used the straight cut and the wrapper always unravels. The v cut is the way to go. Cheers 🍻

    I am just happy when someone when to the trouble to purchase a premium cigar for me. Might not something I’d usually smoke, but you’ll probably get a good cigar regardless. These are some good suggestions.

    My twin brother and I had our birthday last week. He gifted me a box of AJ Fernandez New World Dorado’s. I had never had one before. My brother is a big fan of the AJ Fernandez stuff and decided to share something HE likes a lot with me. I usually smoke Padron natural 2000/3000, but I think the New Workd Dorado may be my new favorite cigar!

    I think all gift cigars should be in tubes. They stay fresh and reduce risk of damage. Also, aestetics. For a while, I was enjoying boxes of Makers Mark, which come in glass tubes. I always gave those out to anyone interested.

    Great video and selections, thank you.
    It's also great to have a gift cigar for more everyday gift situations. I've had great luck in giving small tins of Davidoff Primeros as surprise gifts. They come in a variety of styles like natural, maduro, Nicaraguan, etc. For about $35 dollars you get SIX Davidoffs that are the perfect small size (4 1/8" x 34) for a quick 15-minute coffee break. And because they come in such a flat but sturdy tin they are a breeze to ship in a small envelope. There is not one person I gave this to who did not love the surprise of six Davidoffs or the delicious cigars.

    Hi Mazz, I’m a new occasional cigar smoker. My question is, does the spiciness of a cigar determine the strength of the tobacco? Love watching your videos.
    Thanks.

    • @maverickskywalker5713
      @maverickskywalker5713 2 месяца назад

      Strength is determined by the Nicotine content.

    • @anthonymazzola4470
      @anthonymazzola4470 Месяц назад +2

      Stronger tobacco in a cigar comes from higher up on the plant & it comes across as spicy. It has a higher nicotine level as well. Some people enjoy that flavor & some others avoid a spicy cigar. Taste is personal.

    Test for Holt's Cigar: Recommend me a cigar to give as a gift for someone who regularly smokes medium to medium+ strength cigar, enjoys flavour notes of Citrus/sweet fruit, walnut, coffee, musty, leather and earthy.

      @@PhilVogt6384 Good recommendations, although I will take out LADC Base it has more woody notes to it and Almond notes instead of walnut.

      Enjoy the box of this delight, A Solid purchase.

      I’ve stated this before. I don’t get paid to endorse any brands. I was always a huge fan of the Ashton brand so when I had the opportunity to work for their sister company which is Holts I jumped at the chance. We all have our go to & favorite brands. 2 of the most prestigious factories in the world make their product. Fuente & the My Father factory. Thanks for the love & hopefully you have a better understanding of my passion for Ashton. 👊🏽
