The Perazzi Experience (the original)

  • Perazzi - a name to conjure with as it rolls off the tongue. For many years now top competition and game shooters have been spreading the word: this is no gun to be taken lightly. When you decide that the time has come to invest in a Perazzi, why not order one to the specification that you require, rather than what has been decided as suitable for Mr. Average. We can help you choose stock dimensions, forend styles, barrel lengths and several other options - all of which (within certain limitations!) are included in the price. Please do not worry: for a custom made shotgun both price and delivery time are certainly not out of this world!
We have a large number of Perazzi Shotguns for sale in our Tunbridge Wells gunroom. See our stock here: bit.ly/3VZYFx0
Perazzi MX12, MX8, MX2000, MX2000S, High Tech S, Trap, sporting guns, Top manufacturer, Olympic medal winner.
Hard to believe we made this video over 13 years ago with Chris Potter and Duncan Morris at Chris Potter Country Sports Ltd.
We had been going to Perazzi for years before that visiting Daniele Perazzi, before Mauro and Roberta Perazzi took over the running of the business.
Chris Potter Country Sports Ltd is based in Tunbridge Wells on the Kent / Sussex border, holding over 800 new and used guns all the time with dedicated show room staff and anything else you might need for all your shooting needs.
The shop is generally open from 9-5 everyday APART from Wednesdays and Sundays.
ALL PERAZZIS CAN BE MADE BESPOKE FOR YOU.

Just bought an Sv10 Prevail 3 from these guys, excellent service, gave a great deal on my 682 and 687, for a 682 Gold E and SV10 and 500 rounds, their Perazzi room is amazing, the Experience is only £7500 which in the grand scheme of things isn't that much. For a custom made gun, thats really really good value for money. When shooting at that level you need a custom gun, you can either go olympic style or this style.

My Perazzi MX-8 has cycled thousands of rounds over the last 4 decades ( more than all my other guns combined )She is the only girl in the stable that has never had an issue, large or small! My confidence in this wonderful tool, is such that sometimes it's almost as if there is nothing between me and the target...

That is fantastic, confidence is a massive factor in shooting, hence most shooting Olympic medals have been won with a Perazzi.all the best.

One hell of a super investment, as they hold or escalate their value as the years go by. I have seen many a Perazzi sell for much more than it was new, so you can't go wrong. But like most people, their guns are way out of my league. But I am still hoping before I die I get to own, what a rush that would be !

The Beretta and Perazzi are very close in feel to me,I got my Perazzi used and had it refurbished to what a used dt10 would cost,I just lucked out.
perazzi is a clays gun period.my benelli is a high grade but even with the drop spacers etc the palm and trigger reach are off.benelli is do able,hunting,casual...but when you want it to feel like an extension of your body, beretta or perazzi are it.

For those that don't understand the cost of these fine shotguns, pick one up and shoot it. I have shot competition trap for years and eventually gravitated to two guns, both with superb balance and handling--a Winchester Mod 12 and a Perazzi TM-1. The lock time on the Perazzi gives it the nod for handicap shooting, especially at 27 yds. Nothing feels like or shoots like a Perazzi, well worth the cost of the gun.

Have you had your shotgun fitted? When you get your shotgun fitted, In order for the shotgun fitter to know where the gun is pointing, they look down the barrel from the muzzle end.
It is strange, but the gun is verified to be unloaded, and your finger is kept off the trigger. It doesn't feel right, but it is standard practice.

  • @Kedrezac
    @Kedrezac 10 лет назад +7

When that guy aimed the gun at that chicks face made me uncomfortable. I know it's all part of the process and it's unloaded.

Daniel, its not just shotguns, its everything. A motorcycle racer adjusts handle bar height, peg location, lever pull, a pianist must adjust seat height, seat density, move the seat in or out to access the pedals properly, adjust tension on the pedals, even your car has 4 way seats and steering column. Daniel, even if you truly are an average american male, 5' 10 1/2, 170 lbs, you could have, long fingers, short fingers, muscles or fat, ad infinitum. Even among the "normal" there is not normal.

5:25 , this is an old school method to check the position of the shooters iris/pupil as it relates to the rib top. This will determine if the gun will pattern high/flat/low for this particular person.
Always they are cleared for safety before doing this test. The woman in question just happens to be an Italian champion shooter,so who else but she knows any better in what she does?

Unless you are of abnormal stature (height, weight, arm length, etc.), gun fit means nothing. People of normal stature can use guns right off the shelf without any custom tailoring. If I had a choice, I would take a Perazzi anyday because I do like the fact that they are handmade. You simply can't compete with that, the fact that someone actually nurtured that gun to the finish.

I own a Browning Citori made in Japan, one day at the sporting clays range I forgot the key of my trigger lock, so I borrowed a club's Miroku ( basically same gun made in some factory). Well instead of shooting my usual 18-20 I shot something like 12 missing a few targets that I wouldn't miss with my own gun.

Fabbri makes the finest Italian shotguns. Zanotti is the oldest italian gunmaker. Beretta makes excellent barrels. I like the Perazzi double barreled rifles. Purdey's o/u shotguns are beautiful, especially their o/u damascus shotguns. But, as I see it, the Boss o/u shotguns and rifles are matchless. Lebeau-Courally, Verney-Carron, Merkel, Krieghoff, Heym, and Perugini & Visini, make excellent firearms. Browning and Chapuis are also good sources for o/u shotguns and rifles.

If you knew what you were talking about you would know that Benelli is made in Italy and not in the U.S. along with Beretta, Franchi, Uberti, Perazzi, etc. Also you would know that Benelli's are not better guns. Even though they are good guns they don't even compare to Perazzi. All of Benelli's firearms are made in bulk in a factory by machines, where as Perazzi's are made by hand one by one and no two are alike. You would aslo know Tom Knapp is no longer the record holder.
