Jonny you make 45 minutes fly by. What a pleasurable tour. Ed is a true wealth of knowledge, listening to him cover different points of fit and his explanation of why you need to pay attention to it is truly fascinating. Me being a novice he is answering questions that I didn’t know to ask. Just a suggestion, how about a Blazer factory tour. Same country I believe. Cheers from across the pond
Brillaint as usual makes the recent purchase of my k80 all the more special and goes some way to explaining as to why these guns feel as special to shoot as they do. Hats off JC and Sasha 👏🏻
Love your style of factory tours over the more standard interview style of other channels. Your passion for this stuff is infectious. Thanks for the content.
Stupid question time Johnny. I live here in the US and trying to find a real and appropriate tweed shooting vest like you wear is almost impossible where I live. Can I please have the manufacturer and style of yours? Part of the issue is I am tall (as are you) 6'03" and ordering things online usually does not go well. Love the channel, and the work you do to keep shooting sports and hunting traditions alive in these times.
I didn't expect to like this. I didn't expect to care. I think of Special K as too expensive for me. I really loved this. Their barrel production, It's amazing! I mean I didn't know some of these processes existed. Some of them I knew about but I didn't really think there were better ways being used. This is really cool. The silver solder, Basically the way they did the entire barrels including the alignment. All the little details. All of it. Fantastic. I used to think of them like I don't know new luxury cars. Expensive, classically pretty, probably well. Engineered... No heart, no soul, no human. I don't think that way now. And remember I'm an American. We don't have that German stereotype of cold German efficiency. We also were a major manufacturer, We still kind of are just in different things. So I guess what I'm saying is that's not the way I saw German guns, That's the way I looked at krieghoff, I won't do that anymore.
Love my K-80's- but really dislike laser checkered stocks, especially the K-80's. Wonderful guns though. Worth every penny. Even with pro-sporter rib- Ed's style of shooting still requires him to scrunch into the gun. Great vid, thanks.
Wouldn’t it be great to have 25 barrels at the ready. Never shoot one barrel twice at a trap shoot. Like baseball now a 25 shot trap will take 3 plus hours. Good idea or great idea?
Great videography and I love the gun maker tours but I still think there shotguns are overrated, servicing every year because of the overly complicated trigger mechanism,no chrome lined barrels and the cost of the thing they are the range rovers of the shotgun world and appeal to similar people.
Some can get up to 60k while most run from 6 to 9k. Who the hell is buying these shotguns that don't instantly make you shoot any better? I've been shooting skeet and sporting clays for over 20 years. Tournament all over the country. I've personally seen about 20 Krieghoffs lol. ?
This year alone during my 70+ Sporting competitions I’ve probably seen at least 100. And over here they’re 14-15 starting. Most common id say is 17-23k new.
Perfect video length, beautiful camera work, depth of field, motion, light. Edit was great, good b roll and narration. Nothing to hate, everything to love. Great video. We need more like this. ❤
Having spent 30+ years in the Aerospace and Defence industry in manufacturing, I absolutely love this video. Its proper engineering stuff! Love it Johnny.
What a great film Jonny, as a Krieghoff K80 Super Sport owner it's nice to see how they are made and how much attention to detail goes into probably one of the finest shotguns i've ever used or owned 👍
It's impossible for me to imagine this beautiful production being done with solar or wind-powered energy. Even simple everyday dinner cutlery requires smelted metal.
We do not have a shortage of gunmakers (in germany). The problem is that you normally not paid well enough so you have much fluctuation after the apprenticeship or 2/3 years after that. But a nice video, visited Krieghoff 3 times now in a 10 years - quite interesting how they developed.
No, it started as a Remington 32, which is the year it was introduced. Killed by ww2, the Krieghoff was developed in concert with Hal DuPont, who brought it to America in lieu of his passion for it.
Ah, so that's where the indoors shooting short came from! The barrel construction is interesting. The K80's father, the K32 was cloned off the Remington 32, the ribs of which were milled integral to the barrel, more like Longthorne's method. Remington's first design with a brazed on rib was the 870 in 1950. So, I'm wondering how Krieghoff did the first K32's? A wonderful tour of a place I'll probably never get to see in person - thanks!
My last year of international airline flying had a plan for a long layover in Munich with a train ride to Ulm for a factory tour.. however thanks to the COVID lockdowns my last year of my career was not to happen.. this was a great video that filled the gap..nice tour.. love my K-80! I always till people that if I don’t shoot good at least when I put my k gun on my shoulder I look good…
Outstanding video!! I'm an accountant and love machinery and engineering. My youngest so is a rocket scientist. Needless to say we love guns and their operational aspects. On an unrelated matter, where did you to guys purchase your shotgun field vests? Thank you, Gregory S. Bernad
Fascinating insight to the Krieghoff inner sanctum. Only briefly handled a Parcours some years ago and it felt too good so did not dwell on it given the price.😂.
Yet again, an outstanding Video, as always! Where is that Shootingground located? since im from Germany, im looking for something like that. Sadly i dont really like the K80 shotguns. I dont know why, i stick to my Berettas,Perazzi and H&H

Agreed on the Blaser tour. You can make it happen, right? 🙂
By far the best K factory tour on RUclips 👌 TGS for the win!
Appreciate this updated visit , still got an early K80 (1983) and love it to bits
Brillaint as usual makes the recent purchase of my k80 all the more special and goes some way to explaining as to why these guns feel as special to shoot as they do. Hats off JC and Sasha 👏🏻
Great, now I want a krieghoff thanks guys 🤣
Agree
That was absolutely awesome 👏
Really enjoyed watching the Factor tour !
I’ve been looking forward to this one coming out 👍
Great work TGS !
Stunning
Also mind blown,
The thickness of a plastic bag is around 30 microns
my god a dream trip!!! so awesome
Great video 👍I own a Krighoff combi 12/222rem for many years and it's the rifle i use the most for roe, fox and hare when hunting with my Beagles.
bravoooo! please keep making more of such videos! Thank You and your Team! ❤❤❤
That was superb, you both bring a lot to the party, making a formidable presentation team.
Very enjoyable great to see you and Ed Woking together great combination
Love your style of factory tours over the more standard interview style of other channels. Your passion for this stuff is infectious. Thanks for the content.
Fantastic video. I get Krieghoff love. Yah! I want one..
I love to see fine craftsmanship! How lovely these guns are.
Excellent, if you ever get over to Japan... oh man what a video Miroku plant would be
It's a dream of mine to buy a new Krieghoff Shotgun. Thank You for showing me the finest shotguns made process.
Nice hand shake between you and Ed near the end.
I’m just starting to get in to shooting and videos like these are perfect to show how good the spot is!
Excellent details on spec effects with your friend. More on Big Five rifles next time please.
Beautiful guns. Thanks foe another great film

Try Orvis, I also think a couple of folk bring in Alan Payne clothing from the UK. Johnny quite often wears a Laksen waistcoat.
Google "Campbells of Beauly". They make tweed for the Royal family.
William Powell also ships quickly to the US. And they usually have a great selection. And they are great people.
I didn't expect to like this. I didn't expect to care. I think of Special K as too expensive for me. I really loved this.

I haven't seen fingers like that since I watched ET!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Excellent production
“It’s an in line repeater” *click click*. And now I have to change my trousers.
Would it be possible to make a episode on the drilling guns?

When I win the lotto, Krieghoff will beckon!
Very awesome video
Very informative video.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Best k video I have seen 👍
Very new to the shooting game,I found this, very informative and very daunting, but I will march on and get better. Very informative tho

What a factory! But is stocks only made from walnut? No rosewoods, quilted maple or other exotic hardwoods?
Es una pena que no hagas los videos también al español.
Somos 500 millones de hispanohablantes
One day!
Just knocking on you Johnny really enjoy your vids.
Krieghoff , literally 'War yard'
Germany has many training / printing programs in their businesses
That was just for show. They get there barrels from barrels are us. Shotgun barrels rain barrels or beer barrels .We got the stuff.
Simson and New leader’s in 1930’s famous Parabellum Luger pistols❤
Where is the outdoor shooting ground?
Muy hermosa arma amigo saludos chebres
In the USA we call it 'bluing.' Is that not the case in Europe/UK?
Yes
Tell them to make me a FG42!
Had K80's didn't like the trigger pulls awful ,gone back to XS pro no probs love it.
Wouldn’t it be great to have 25 barrels at the ready. Never shoot one barrel twice at a trap shoot. Like baseball now a 25 shot trap will take 3 plus hours. Good idea or great idea?
good ol german engineering
42:35?
The pinnacle of kraut engineering.........a 1932 Remington.
Great videography and I love the gun maker tours but I still think there shotguns are overrated, servicing every year because of the overly complicated trigger mechanism,no chrome lined barrels and the cost of the thing they are the range rovers of the shotgun world and appeal to similar people.
Mine has 50k plus rounds with NO service, and NO malfunctions.
paying 10s of thousands for engraving is pretty wild. I get the looks but the price is no where near what it should be.
🇪🇨🇪🇨👍
Great gun but they are heavy Crowbar 😂
The company is just down the road from me…… still more that I can afford but yes very nice
Just does not look as neat and organized as the Beretta factory setup.
Still has nothing on the Beretta Factory.......... nothing compares to Beretta.

$30k
Watching this I kinda see why
Perfect video length, beautiful camera work, depth of field, motion, light. Edit was great, good b roll and narration. Nothing to hate, everything to love. Great video. We need more like this. ❤
I love the motion in your shots in this one, Sasha. Gives the whole thing energy to match the excitement of seeing these beautiful guns being made!
I just bought a brand new K-80 Gold Standard with a color case hardened receiver. I can't wait for the snow to melt and the trap club to open up...
If I ever win the lottery first thing I'm doing is buying a custom krieghoff.
Another great video! I can’t wait for the Purdey Factory tour.
Could be the icing on the cake that one.
They truly are the best shotgun, i luv mine. So many people around me problems with Beratta and Perazzi. Never a fault with a Krieghoff.
"Nice to have nice things." It's such a nice thing to say.
A TGS video at its best.
The Factory Tours are very interesting to watch, Quality videoing from Sasha, If you had 30k to spend what would you buy, A custom K80 or DT11.👍
Did someone like his glasses too? Any idea what are those?
The bloody handshake killed me 😂
The secret tgs handshake is finally revealed?! 🤣
I was utterly fascinated through the entire production, then "it" happened.
I don't feel right at all.
YES, it was weird
It's impossible for me to imagine this beautiful production being done with solar or wind-powered energy. Even simple everyday dinner cutlery requires smelted metal.

Perfect watch while waiting to leave for the shooting show 😁 see yas there!
The K80 started life as the Remmington 3200 . Krieghoff bought the patent rights from Remmington ! The K80 is a far superior gun !
No, it started as a Remington 32, which is the year it was introduced. Killed by ww2, the Krieghoff was developed in concert with Hal DuPont, who brought it to America in lieu of his passion for it.
Wouldn't it be great if a Damascus barrel maker from the 19th - early 20th century could see how it's done now?
Ah, so that's where the indoors shooting short came from!
The barrel construction is interesting. The K80's father, the K32 was cloned off the Remington 32, the ribs of which were milled integral to the barrel, more like Longthorne's method. Hey what cameras do you use?
My last year of international airline flying had a plan for a long layover in Munich with a train ride to Ulm for a factory tour.. however thanks to the COVID lockdowns my last year of my career was not to happen.. this was a great video that filled the gap..nice tour.. love my K-80! Ps love the ford mustang in the parking lot
Outstanding video!! I'm an accountant and love machinery and engineering. My youngest so is a rocket scientist. Needless to say we love guns and their operational aspects. On an unrelated matter, where did you to guys purchase your shotgun field vests?
Thank you, Gregory S. Bernad
imagine having so much money you order a custom 70k Kreighoff like that just to see it in this video in production
👍🏻👍🏻
Another great video. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but, to me, these guns are bloody ugly.
THE GUN CHOSES THE WIZARD YOUNG MR COOPER, YOUR WIZARD MR ED WAS TELLING YOU THAT M.
These guns are the top of the line thing where I live. Thanks for showing me the dream space!!
The factory tour videos are exceptional. Great watch guys 👊
How long is forsing cone, is it same as VALMET from finland-> very short?
Awesome Video
and now i want one...
Why is it that I can't see any of your movies? All I get is a screen filled with lines..... :(
I'd like to see more of the actual metal work. Too much talking and not enough machining footage.
Great video. That handshake made me chuckle 👋👈
You made very interesting video
So well made. Cheers!
Jeez the editor really gets off on overcranked footage lol!!
Perazzi is the best.
