There is no official lyrics to this song, so I had to write the Japanese lyrics by ear. Usually that wouldn’t be a problem, but the lyrics are extremely hard to hear lmao. So, apologies if there is a mistake regarding the lyrics, I tried my best :) I hope you enjoy the song!
thank you once again for translating this song even though there are no official lyrics available . I think the very fact that this has no official lyrics shows how underrated Österreich ( Takahashi Kunimitsu ) is :') ...
I agree. I was so surprised to see there was no official lyrics. Usually Takahashi Kunimitsu has the lyrics on his SoundCloud, but yeah, nowhere to be found ( ; ω ; ). Thank you for the lovely comment as always
Thank you so much for your hard work. This is my favorite song from Österreich, simply because how complicated and beautiful it is. I want to ask Are there any context or symbolism behind the lyrics of this song?? I love to read the definitions you normally write in your video😅 P/s: Thanks for making my day, Nothing feel better than Österreich with art work from Ishida Sui
You're welcome! Well, the title itself has a lot meaning. Froth is usually understood as the bubbles on top of some type of drink. However, there is multiple definitions. Froth also means worthlessness, so the title can mean "Every day is worthless". Froth also has association with diseases, which I think ties into the lyrics a lot. Throughout the lyrics there is imagery of death, and wanting to get away from it. For example, in the lyrics the singer tries to trick death, wants to be reborn, prays to the gods, etc., but nothing stops death. "誰もみな屍さ" (Everybody is a corpse); everyone will die. No matter how many times we are reborn, no matter which God we pray to, or how many tricks we play one thing we can always count on is death. However, that doesn't stop us or the people around us wanting to remember our lives "忘れないよ, 息が途絶えるまで" (I won't forget until my last breath). Death not only is inevitable, but it takes our very reason for existence (our memories). Thank you for saying you like my explanations
