Thank you for this! we needed it, since our computers are Mac. One annoying factor they have when you upload a media source such as a video, there is no features where you can pause the uploaded video, it just keeps running, not good when you want to go live and start the media video from the beginning!

thank you so much!! Is it possible to log in with a second tiktok account? I've sent a support request but figured I'd see if anyone else has tried it. I have a music channel and an art channel on tiktok that are both live-enabled.
I've had to log out of one and then into the other one. I haven't been able to be logged in to both at the same time. Let us know what support says.

Brother !!! I've been waiting for more than a year for this! I've reached a 1000 a year ago with the aim to go live trough obs or streamlabs... Yet ... No streamkey... no access *.BUT*
I went trough the process got approved (LIVE ON STREAMLABS APPROVED) yet when I log in out, nothing changed.
I still get the APPLY for TT Live permission, and when i do it instantly says I am approved as mentioned before.
It's just an hour ago I applied so perhaps I have to wait till tomorrow?

It should reflect in the Streamlabs Desktop once you are approved. Just make sure you are using the TikTok account to login to Streamlabs. Also, there is a Streamlabs update that just got pushed, so make sure you are on latest version 1.16.7 in case that is giving it problems.

I’ve tried this idea. But I have other problem the theme of my stream always “Gaming”. I cold change only name of stream. How to change theme of the stream? Streamlabs support haven’t an answer 🤷♂️
I've looked in multiple places and it looks like there is no where to change this within Streamlabs. Hopefully they will add it in an updated. From what I have seen, the only place to change it is within the TikTok Studio Live application.
U have to use ultra for multiple destinations
You do not need Ultra if you are streaming one vertical and one horizontal to different destinations. You would need Ultra if you wanted to add a third destination. This is from the Streamlabs site: Streamlabs Dual Output feature allows you to stream to one horizontal platform and one vertical platform simultaneously for free or add additional platforms with Streamlabs Ultra.”
where it asks you to put the channel link i type tiktok and it dosent highlight the summit link at the bottom ... can you please tell me what is needed to continue with this process
What they are looking for here is for where you create content outside of TikTok. So it can be your URL to RUclips, Twitch, Kick, etc. And then you select the platform from the dropdown that relates to the link and then choose the CVC and upload a screenshot for that account. The submit should become available once all that is entered.
When I am applying to use Streamlabs. What if I've never gone live anywhere else before? Will they still allow me to use the platform? Thank you!

It is possible. You will just need to add it as a new source in your scene. There is a source option called macOS Screen Capture that will let you share it.
How do I share my MacBook screen to stream games on Tik Tok live
When you are in Streamlabs, under sources you can either add Display Capture or macOS Screen Capture and that will add your MacBook Screen to the canvas to stream. You will have to give Streamlabs Desktop permissions under the Screen & System Audio Recording system settings for this to work. However, you should be prompted to allow when adding the macOS Screen Capture to the canvas for the first time.

So how would I add my iPad? I stream a game from there…
Depending on the iPad you have, you will need either a USB-C to HDMI or a Lightning to HDMI adapter. This will allow you to send the iPad display to a capture card over the HDMI cable. Once the capture card is connected, you can add it as a video source to your scene in Streamlabs.
Do you have to have a channel to link? I only have TikTok
If you do not currently have over 1K followers on TikTok they will want to see some sort of established streaming/content creation history on another platform for approval.

my stream just produces a black screen. why?
Do you have your scene setup correctly? Also, make sure you are choosing the correct canvas layout when you go live. For example you have the vertical canvas setup but maybe you have the horizontal canvas selected for TicTok when you go live.
