I went in to Dark Souls 2 way after 3, knowing all of the hate towards it, and honestly I enjoyed it a lot. It has a charm the others don't imo. I didn't even know about the ADP thing until I hit the DLC so I never leveled it, and didn't really complain a whole lot. Just went ok I can still get hit through rolls for less damage, got to time it better or work on spacing. This game breaks you mentally if you let it imo. Has its flaws 100%, but nothing you can't overcome and learn to play with or around and still enjoy it. Or be Asmon. Slam your face into a wall for 50 hours and after wonder why the wall so damn hard.
I always avoid the ultra great swords with the "chop" r1's because of DS2's weird UGS aiming. Like what's even the point of locking on if slightly bumping the left stick makes me spin around? If I wanna aim my sword, I'll just unlock. I love DS2, but I can totally see why this was annoying for him.
All of his hate for this game comes from the fact that HE sucks, not the game. Blame the game when it's totally your fault. It's really annoying. He went into the game having a preconceived notion of it being bad, he's sick and downtrodden during this playthrough and he's just bad as usual. Now I get why he's always talking shit and it's exactly what I thought. I like Asmon but all the whining about this game is tiring.
he was bad but this game is definitely the weakest out of 3 dark souls games, too many monsters in one area and bosses are boring and easy ( i beat only half of all bosses while making this comment)
@@jestemniewazny7295 Its not just increased monster amount its that they are placed smartly there are lots off traps and environmental dangers which if you are observant game rewards you. And your 99 problems are mostly fake or just simply things in comon with most fromsoft games.

This game is like self-harm, people say it makes them feel good when theres clearly bad effects from doing that. In my instance this game is my guilty pleasure. Asmon was trash and played stupid in DS1, he even exited Blighttown the way he came in yet he loves DS1. I think DS2 is an alright game but to outright perform mental gymnstatics and fighting conversations and scenerios that you made in your head is weird when you can literally see a constant annoying issue right in-front of you. Movement sucks, combat is weird and its more of a fight between a bunch of 80 year olds with arthritis. Reskin this game to be old people whos knee hurts fighting each other and change Estus Flasks to soup, and life gems to vitamin pills and you pretty much get this game

People like asmond refuse to learn and overcome this game and would rather force a playthrough then complain and whinge because it's easier
You can learn how to create amazing sculptures with literal shit. Doesn't change the fact that it's still shit.

Maybe playing str is so fcking easy they made it require atleast some skill?
@@oskarszile4372 That's fine I suppose. It just sucks if your deadzone isn't perfect, or if you have a little stick drift.
Ds2 was so good, just get gud
Can literally slow it down and see him get hit then him mauld about hitboxes and refuses to learn the game.
lmaooooooooooo
I played the shit out of Ds 2 really it was my favorite the clunky game play will always have a special place in my heart😂
i think i skipped this coop boss

I just don't get why this guy risks and wastes souls that easy. What's the point of dealing with enemies first while ur 30k souls next to you.

Nice to see others facing the bullshit mechanics too.
It's disappointing to see fanatics in chat that deny reality though.
They're acting like ur supposed to teleport back into an attack like it's realistic lmao
