In this video we finally see the culmination of all his frustrations finally turn into the pure hatred that we know today.
It’s a shame because a lot of the issues he’s having, I just didn’t have when I played on PS5. I wonder if it was just a really bad PC port.

It's nothing to do with the game he's just salty because "the games to hard I refuse to learn or think so the games bad and I'm not"

He should have played the Vanilla DS2, SOTFS is the worst dark souls.

@@Kash11114 No Sotf is a massive improvement. Pc port has a problem were it resets the autoclick setting every time he quits the game so you just have to remove it once you start playing the game . That fixes the accidental parry, but him attacking in random directions is because he just missclicks his move buttons.

Every DS game has input queuing, so I wonder if that's why he keeps parrying. As he's getting hit he keeps spamming left click. If not, then most likely it's just the port. I don't know if I've ever encountered the issues he's been having when using controller. I'm surprised given Asmons general attitude towards this game that he even got this far. I think if Bluepoint goes down the list of remaking games from the Souls series, DS2 could be better than all the others imo.

Literally all he had to do was stop double clicking or just turn off and then on double clicking in the menu. Granted you shouldnt need to redisable an option but a bug is a bug, he even acknowledged that he could do it but wouldnt because it was too frustrating for him... This guy hated the game before he even played it the first time and looked for every excuse possible to trash talk it. Rip asmonbozo

He claims he actually beat Sekiro at some point. I bet he’s lying, unless there’s actual proof. The only video I found was here on RUclips where he rage quit the game after only a few hours.

I usually like the guy but I’ve never heard so much bitching. Ds2 is a fine game. It’s not ds1 or 3 but it’s still good. Asmongold is literally trash at souls games so the game must be trash. I can’t handle all the crying in this video.

This really is all that needs to be said about it. I wanted to see what exactly pushed him over the edge about this game and it's exactly what I thought. He's just not good at it and looks for excuses.

He still hasn't realized that the reason he keeps parrying is because he's pressing the wrong button. If he got used to the simple controls on a controller instead of whining about having to actually learn the layout, he would be an actual god. No use getting frustrated by it now I suppose. I'm guessing he beat it already

23:15 Refuses to go thru the tutorial at the start of the game, Dosen't understand what a guardbreak is and why he keeps accidentally doing it.
    But no it's a trash game 🙄
Just many more reasons to give soulsborne games the up most respect and attention to enjoy it.. Smh

Tbh i love souls games my favourite game series of all the fucking time by far, but as someone who has houdreds of hours on every souls except Elden ring i have to say that it is the most shitty souls design by far, its like they said DS2 is too easy we dunno how to design hard enemies (cuz we programmed just 3 movesets i guess) so lets just do SOTFS throw bunch of trash mobs everywhere and we are done so fucking lazy to me hes right about not beeing fun compare to other souls at all despite hes making worse than it is, you just play hit and run with 4-5 enemies over and over (thats my biggest pet peeve about ds2 with taking away the 180 turn during AA animation) thats why hes missing so many autos with greatswords cuz he attacks before his character turns so it doesnt matter where he aims... things done badly in this game would make a book.. I mean great looking game, Majula is best firelink, the music is awesome, tons of bosses
(some good but mostly lazy fillers cuz they wanted a lots of boss fights it seems) but thats literally it.. hitboxes are actually fine in this game even tho people hate on this most some are bad, but every souls has its enemies with weird hitboxes... you are just given less I frames and need ADP to boost this up... shitty design aswell tho...

@@Ruvikx02 Boy that was quite hard to read, wall of mind vomit text... BUT I completely agree with you. Except maybe the "by far" part. To me DS1 and 3 are 9s, while DS2 is an 8. It's the worst of the three, but still a great game. It does some things better than the others, and other things worse.
Asmon was just way too impatient and stubborn to take a few minutes at the start of the game to look at the tutorial messages and the options / keybindings. If he had just bound left hand strong attack to literally ANYTHING else but double left click he wouldn't have had the parrying issue, even with the "disable double clicking" bug. Apparently he got used to the massive attack delay that comes from it, which by itself is incomprehensible to me, I could never play the game like that. And even WITH the settings the way they were, he only parried when he button mashed left click in a panic, so his repeated statement that "his characters does abilities he didn't tell him to do" is just false, he DID tell him that, panicking and click spamming.

This game is trash and I'm playing on Controller. 6 Sentries along with 6-8 trash mobs in a square room exactly defines this game.
I've seen people call out the bs "Dont you know if you kill it x amount of time they won't spawn" how are you suppose to know that? And ain't nobody got time for that

"how are you supposed to know that"
      You're asking this...about a dark souls game...
How was anyone supposed to know how to start the DS1 DLC?
How is anyone supposed to know how to complete literally any npc quest in any of these games?
Simply put, in a first blind playthrough (the recommended experience), you can't.
Dark souls 2 Scholar of the first Sin has indeed messed with enemy placements in some areas too much. That I will admit.
But you're really focusing on the wrong parts of it to justify your critiques.

@@itscutaru If I attack an NPC then I'll find out I'll get hurt. If I kill a special mob once in not Dark Souls 2 then it won't spawn and the player will know that. There is a pattern here. This is not the same as balancing a *level* around various mobs by having to kill them 20 to maybe 40 times. Personally, that is bad level design and not a quest or dlc(which is hinted to you via item that takes you to dlc) is in the same level or thought process as that.
If I rest, mobs respawn, this is shown. If I kill an NPC it won't respawn and if they do (like The Fire keeper, etc...), then they'll throw a dialogue there or they will respawn. Killing an enemy that maybe stops despawning depending on the location of that enemy 20-40 times isn't even on the same level as finding a dlc that is *HINTED* with a description or an NPC quest that is also hinted or you might randomly find. Quests and DLCs are not level design. If a level suck because so many mobs and the fix to that is to respawn and kill them 20-40 times then how is that even similar to discovering a dlc via trinket or an NPC you met an hour ago? Heck, maybe that happened to prevent farming which would be fixing an issue with another issue.
To put it in short: DLCs and NPC Quests discoveries is not the same as killing 20-40 of a trash-mob or mobs (because it depends on who you kill 20-40 times because ofc it does) which can affect the level design. Did you even give thought to the logic you tried to give?
