Beautiful species as always Jarek! You could also maybe just ask for one to be named "Jareki" in stead of something with the channel name 😉
That millipede was my favourite piece from the video.

Hi Jarek, really fun video as usual!
With regard to those big 'plant spores' that are frequently found in Burmese amber: in a study in 2018 it was determined that those 'plant spores' are actually not spores at all but piddock bivalve borings. This means that amber pieces with these borings must have been part of a brackish river estuary or sea environment where young bivalves attached onto the surface. These bivalves then started boring their way into the amber. In most cases when you look at the surface of the amber, you will notice that these borings are touching the surface. This indicates that the resin was hard when these creatures bored into it. In more rare cases you can find bivalve shells completely inide the amber. In this case the resin was still soft (in the brackish estuary or sea environment) so it could completely enclose the bivalve shell.

Ah i see! Though i did saw some sort of plant stem with very similar "spores" attachdd to it from all the sides , maybe it was similar 🤔, good informstion! Thanks:)

@@Amberscape I have been looking for an amber piece with both a plant leaf and these 'spores' attached but I have never found a convincing example. I have seen some examples like you mention: with 'spores' attached on each side of some weird brown stem like structure, which did not really look like a leaf. But that may be a case where the amber was still soft and the borings with dirt got folded into the amber piece. An interesting mystery in amber for sure! 🙂

that was awesome i just wonder if we released what was inside them to our atmosphere what would happen. would it be good bacteria virus or bad virus? is it preserved and never be brought forward or just laying dormant? just curious because it only takes one bacteria bug to get us all sick so i am just wondering?? thanks for sharing love the channel.

After 99million years, this is not possible. The inclusions are completely oxidized and are only hithin armor.

As Vermiculoais mentioned - its not possible - dna in amber degraded absolutely - scientist did try to get some dna samples and there was none:)

I recently bought a copal which I thought was amber. I rubbed it on fabric and it becomes sticky.

Another test is putting a bit of acetone , if it becomes sticky its also not amber:)
