Noticing the nasty burn on your guy's arm. Didn't think y'all got out unscathed making candy since it's all hot sugar.... but thank you for the efforts to bring us joy!
I got a small burn from a light contact with a metal lid that i used to cover a pan, and it stung for the whole day. I cant imagine how much candymaking burn would hurt 😭
I noticed the burn too. I've heard that when you make your living in a kitchen a burn scar is a badge of honor; they're inevitable and signify you're willing to endure a little pain for your craft. I hope those guys are caught up on their OSHA paperwork though.
@@rosenewbie2773 a series would be awesome! They could do one with the Tetris blocks, a Mario set (not super intricate, but maybe a coin, a mushroon, a goomba, a pipe, that sort of stuff)...
This design's especially fun because with the design being made of rigid squares, you can see the image clearly forming during the build. You don't often get to see it that clearly when it's a curvier design.
Imagine my excitement when I found out you guys are based in FL! I can't wait to see the shop in person! I bought a few of your candies and I was beyond impressed. Amazing work and amazing taste.
Greg, with every upload you make me want to travel to Florida just to visit your shop. I've been watching your vidoes for years (since vid #28) and have order a lot of your candy. The Tangerine sours are my favorite. Though I've had your candy before I feel that visiting would still be interesting so, it's definitely something on my bucket list :D
WOW! This young man is a rock star pulling that off. Hands down the best candy design I've seen you guys make. I understand not wanting to spoil this masterpiece with a voiceover - understandably my mouth was on the floor too just watching this come to life.
I’m so glad you ship your candies! I live in the middle of nowhere and the nearest place you can get handcrafted candy is 4 hours away. On top of that you have some of the best flavors. Pear, blackberry and pomegranate are my favorites, but I just got my order of pumpkin spice and it is crazy good. I can’t wait to order more candy and try new flavors.
I emailed my baking class teacher a link to this channel since we're doing a candy making unit in her class. I really like the content, and I thought I ought to introduce some other people to this content.
I just ordered my Trick or Treat bundle (along with a few more Damfino assortments of course) and I'm looking forward to getting them in to try. I was a little bummed that the Ology assortment ran out, as I really enjoyed the sour blend. Maybe you can bring back the flavour as a regular mix, if the collab is over.
it's going to be a wide variance. some batches they can use most of the candy and others like this one there are amounts of candy they just cant use as part of the normal batch.
@@wake-archus what are you talking about? they use every bit of candy from every single batch. The only candy "not" used in all batches is the bulb at the end that get's sold in store.
Uploaded six seconds ago! guess I'm not going to bed just yet :) Ah dang it, I went to see if I could get these, but the shipping tripled the cost :( I guess I'll wait until I've graduated to buy candy from across the pond!
I love these videos! But has anyone else ever noticed how these videos appear to be clearly spoken, but are actually kind of hard to understand what he means sometimes? I have to go back and put subtitles on and it's weirdly written sentences and sometimes the tone and phrasing don't match in some way. It's kind of coherently incoherent at times, haha. It makes me wonder if he's using phrasing and lingo from old candy recipes?
Unfortunately, I've been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes so sugar is now a no-no. Sugar free options are WAY limited to 2 flavors. 😢😕 when are you going to make the rest of your candy mixes sugar free? Disservice to diabetic people who cannot enjoy any of this stuff 😭

I have plenty of scars from homemade candy, gotta be careful
A full set of all the ghosts would be sick
It would be ghoulish
Yes! All four ghosts, the Pac-Family, and the dots and power pellets! Start a nostalgia arcade game series!

I still don’t understand how the design in the middle gets so perfectly symmetrically squished down with out distortion
The fold and drip is my favorite part of this process! My son argues and says the hook is the best!
My favorite part is the big blobs of colorful sugar settling on the table. I just want to take a big bite!
The candy is so cute! but that piano music....chefs kiss

I discovered Hercules candy a few months ago and have ordered from them several times. Their latest video has sent me here

The black and white stripes in the beginning make me want to see beatlegeuse candies.
Have you ever heard of G-shaft candy? I think you would be fascinated by both the candy and the history behind it.
Sooo cool, love the process, but the final product is so amazing. Keep up the great work. This is art.
"...to make the raspberry taste like raspberry." But, do the snozzberries taste like snozzberries?
I see what you did there
"we are the music makers. and we are the dreamers of dreams."
Ow those burns. I worked in a kitchen for a few years, and yep - burns and cuts are a regular thing. I feel your pain, homie.

As always a deliciously relaxing video. So far the blue raspberry is my favorite flavor in the trick collection. Soon I will try the treat one
It’s a beautiful design! Love it!
These are amazing!
I think an interview for new hires must go something like this "Did you play with playdoh much as a kid? How about Legos? Tetris?"
Did you look up "Pacman jazz song" or is your jazz knowledge so incredible you had this one in the vault ready to go?
In my collection. More Zelda and Mario jazz out there than this, but this is the game on my youth
Love this! Its so relaxing after a long day

Excellent jazzy version of the Pac-Man theme for this one. 😁

I love the idea that it being a pacman ghost was caused by miscommunication. it makes the process seem more real.
Awesome Video lofty pursuits
a full bag of packman sweets would be so cool
You sure do love your jazz music
I'm eating the Trick packet currently and t's so good! I'm almost sared to taste the Treat packet now 0.o
Visited the shop few weeks ago. Not making candy that day, so I guess we will just have to return on another trip.
Sorry we missed you.

Very neat!
where can I find the background music? it’s pretty interesting
Have you ever done a video on the blue raspberry flavor/color combo?

“Bashful” Uh-huh you know your 8-bit ghosts! You could also say this a very “Inky” pen blue.
I remember that packman game, the first Atari game we ever had as a kid

Awesome
I have tried the cinnamon roll hard candy and it's so good, have you guys ever thought about sell the cinnamon roll just on it's own?

That is soooo cute

I approve of "Enter a Coin" lol
Do the air bubbles increase the volume by any significant amount?
They can. That's why we sell by weight.
